Hi everyone,I'm having trouble with Lightroom not showing the tethered capture window. Here's what'shappening:• Tethering works when I press the camera's shutter button, so the connection appears to be fine.• However, the tethered capture window doesn't appear, so I can't use live view and change other controls on-screen.• I've already enabled the tethered capture window through File → Tethered Capture → Show Tethered Capture Window, but it's still not showing. My setup:• MacBook Air (M1)• macOS Sonoma 14.5• Lightroom 14.0.1• Sony A7IVI'd really appreciate any advice or troubleshooting tips to resolve this. Thanks in advance!

I'm curious about the following process:Capturing an image on your iPhoneImporting it into Lightroom mobileSyncing to Adobe's cloudAccessing Lightroom Classic on your laptopMoving images from the "iPhone" device to a local folder My questions are:Are the files you're moving full resolution, allowing you to safely delete them from your iPhone's Camera Roll? For DNG files taken with Lightroom mobile, are you getting the full RAW file or just a smart preview? Is this process officially documented by Adobe? You're concerned about potentially losing data if you remove photos from your Camera Roll after syncing. You're aware that syncing from Lightroom Classic to Lightroom CC only transfers smart previews, but you're specifically interested in the reverse (Lightroom mobile to Classic).Does this workflow result in full-resolution images remaining in Lightroom CC, consuming your plan's storage? Is there a method to transfer photos to a local folder while still syncing Lightroom Classic coll
Please help. I'm barely able to operate LRC because the program is running at a snail speed. I am running the program on my SSD Drive. Catalog is on my external SSD. My PC is an i7-6700 CPU @ 3.40 GHx; 32GB RAM. I am basically at a stop-work situation....importing is OK but anything else is so slow it doesn't make sense to use it. I have excluded LRC from my virus protection. Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks - Dave

Has anyone had a problem when synching metadata - specifically keywords - on LRCC . I've started getting error code 1555 stating the location/name of the database, then UNIQUE constraint failed: AgLibraryKeywordImage.id_local sql: INSERT INTO AgLibraryKeywordImage( id_local, image, tag ) VALUES( ?, ?, ?); (error code 1555) Any idea what that means? I used LRC a few weeks ago with no issues. Today, it won't start up. I see it in Task Manager but never gets far enough for the app to appear on my screen. Need so assistance asap! Many thanks in advance for any and all!
After upgrading to macOS Sequoia (15.1.1) I'm experiencing slows in LRC (14.0.1), particularly in the Develop pane with masks (esp. subject detection) and Remove tools. I have a Mac Mini M2 Pro w 32GB RAM. Original files (CRAW) are stored on an SSD (W/R = 2300/2200). Switch Graphics Processor between Auto and Custom makes no difference. Any hints to improve and return performance to previous levels are most welcome. [moving from bugs to discussions according to the community rules - Mod.]

Dear Adobe Team Wir the latest update to LrC v14.0.1 n(windows 11) the masking function is not working any more for any photo where i did not yet apply masks in the previous version. with the new version neiter persons, motivs nor background is recognised in the masking (seems to be working and then disapears). With this function missing from Lightroom the the value of your solution is down to a picture viewer. Please fix the problem currently you are charging money while not delivering the agreed service - this cannot be in the interst of Adobe. By the way as your required an update of the catalog for this version it is also not possible to roll back to an older functiong version. Lightroom Classic-Version: 14.0.1 [ 202410161356-30922cfc ]MacOS 15.1.1 I use the new AI denoise (technology preview without new file) in ACR as well as othrer adjustments successfully. Then I go back to LrC and load the metadata from file.Expected result: All adjustments incl. the AI denoise are shown.Result: Adjustments are taken over, except the AI denoise. When I open the same file in ACR again, the AI denoise is still applied.
The file is from Nikon Z9 and imported with the camera's profile. For the very dark part in this photo, Lightroom Classic 14.0.1 shows these blue dots area. In the very bright part in another photo, it shows red dots. But the exported JPGs do not have such problems. Can someone suggest how I can remove them? Guess I need to change the setting somewhere. Thanks.
Hello!I am learning how to manage digital files and I have transferred some unseperated raw burst files from my SD card onto my SSD (and then erased them from the sd yikes). I now have these files which I am unable to preview on File Explorer nor Lightroom nor the SD card. They are massive files from 100-500mb each which I suspect might partially be why they wont open. I have tried downloading Canon's Digital Photo Proffessional app and using the raw burst tool but it doesnt allow me to - the website give conflicting information (below image). Upon research, I have rest Lightroom's presets, disabled GPU? nothing has changed so idk. I have almost accepted defeat but PLEASE bounce any ideas around, I would really appreciate it 🙂
I'd like to print on my epson p700 by exporting my photos fro LRC to Epson Media printer however it isn't listed under the export tab and I can't figure out how to install it in that dropdown. I can access the epson media printer outside of lrc but not within.please helpthanks george whitson
Lightroom 6 continues to work just fine with Windows 10 64 bit. (I cannot afford LR CC.) In the future, I am thinking of upgrading to Windows 11. However, what worries me is that Microfoft are making it more difficult to run older softwate on Windows 11. Is anyone out there successfully running LR 6 on the latest version of Windows 11? I would be interested to know if it can be done. Kind regardsChris
Yesterday I opened Lightroom Classic and found that the zoom tool was producing a pixelated image even on images that I know are very sharp. Single click on the image as normal.
Beim Erstellen eines Buches erhalte ich neuerdings immer diese Fehlermeldung: Interner Fehler: entity:doneConstructing(): Field "image" does not have a value. Kann mir hier jemand weiterhelfen? Viele Grüße aus der Toskana m.g. [moved from bugs to discussions according to the community rules - Mod.]
On Intel iMac 27 2020 5k Retina running Mac (Mac OS 15.1.1) and LRc (14.0.1 and Camera RAW 17.0) I am not sure if LRc really applies "Camera Settings" for Raw processing of DNG RAWs if picked, e.g. from Leica SL3. Reason at ARW I see on the right side for profile "Camera Standard" (Screenshot 1) at Leica SL3 DNGs I cannot see "Camera Standard". So, I am asking please (Screenshot 2). ARW: DNG from Leica SL3 (no Kamera Standard here) Mac:

This was still slow, as the preview generation process seemed to only use a single CPU core. While annoying, it wasn't a huge deal because I could still review and cull photos while this was running in the background. Lightroom would just be

Hi Adobe Team, I’ve encountered a bug in Lightroom Classic 14.0.1 on macOS 15.1.1. Here’s the issue: When I crop an image and then move it (e.g., using the arrow keys), the crop boundary automatically shrinks. This happens consistently if I hold down an arrow key or press it multiple times. Steps to reproduce: 01. Open an image in Lightroom Classic. 02. Apply a crop. 03. Use the arrow keys to adjust the position of the cropped area. 04 .Observe that the cropped area shrinks automatically. This behavior is frustrating and interrupts my workflow. It would be great if this issue could be addressed in the next update. [moved from bugs to discussions according to the community rules - Mod.]
I'm using LR 6.0 because I don't want to pay a monthly subscription. It could read the Canon CR2 files of my Canon 7D but isn't capable of reading the CR3 files of my Canon EOS RP so I used Adobe DNG Converter to convert the CR3 files to DNG. Any images shot at the full-wide, 24mm lens position (RF 24-240mm F4-6.3 lens on EOS EP body) have extreme vignetting in the converted DNG files. Even if I go under Lens Correction, select Manual (there's no profile for my lens under Profile) and select the maximum +100 Vignetting correction, there's still significat vignetting. This vignetting is being introduced by DNG Converter in the conversion process. If I open the CR3 files in Canon Digitial Photo Professional, there is no vignettingin the original files. The vignetting only occurs in photos taken at the widest, 24mm position. If the shot was zoomed even a little, there's no vignetting in the converted DNG file. I'd have to take a series of test shots to see exactly what focal length th
I got a problem exporting to DXO Pure Raw from LRC. After doing the major adjustments I select Pure Raw as plug-in or right click and export the Raw (edited) file to denoise and corrections on DXO Pure Raw. Since yesterday the file previewed is missing any adjustments I had made on LRC. No matter what settings I change on Pure Raw, the preview update is instantaneous because nothing is actually happening with the file. I did test with Topaz Denoise and it's working. I did reinstall DXO Pure Raw as well as LRC and nothing changed. I install bothe softwares in another computer and the problem persists so I assume it's not defective but some settings that I may have changed involuntarily that caused this. At same time I imagine that installing the softwares again would set the parameters as default but like I said, nothing changed, the problem remains. I don't find any similar issue reported but I hope someone has an idea about it. [m
