Lightroom Classic

When editing photos, the + - box in the bottom right corner of the image use to only come up when adjustments were made to the image, now it adds on when I just click on it, I would like for it to only add on there when actual adjustments are made, that way I know which ones need to be edited and which ones have been already. Anyone know how to turn it off for just "clicked on" images? Thanks!  

Need help.My cat stepped on my keyboard and caused my library screen went blank. Can't figure out what keys where pressed. All my files are still here just not showing at my library. There is a new "People" tap on the top right corner and appears to be doing facial search, and the library shows "no people found". How can I have my library showing my exiting files again?

Frequently when using LR in Library module, grid view, the position indicator on the scroll bar disappears.  Sometimes I can bring it back by reducing thumbnail size but not always.  Sometimes shutting LR down and restarting restores it at normal thumbnail size but sometimes restarting doesn't do a thing.   I hope there is a fix for this because it's a giant pain.

in the library filter text search, i'd like to be able get results if a word matches as word in the folder name itself, as opposed to just in keywords, file names, etc. Is there any way to accomplish this, even if I have to go about it in a roundabout way?

Hello, Lrc v. 13.5.1 Win 10. I was happily working for about 3 hours in Lrc yesterday when the develop sliders started being very unresponsive.  I Googled the problem and the first suggestion was to disable my graphics card.   The setting was turned off whth a message  "Graphics processor acceleration is not supported by your system".  I always have my graphics card enabled.  My graphics card is a Nvidia RTX A2000 which does fit the Lrc requirement.  I then opened Lr and it shows my graphics card and all of the adjustment sliders work perfectly, same thing for Ps. I then reset my preferences thinking that might solve the problem but it did not. I hope someone might have the answer.  Lrc is really unuseable at this point. Thank you so much! Tom

Seit einiger Zeit erscheint die Meldung "Lightroom kan Datei nicht schreiben", wenn ich meine DNG-Bilder in jpeg auf der externen G-Drive-Festplatte speichern möchte. In Lightroom Classic, I have photos in a collection that is synced with Lightroom. In Lightroom, I shared these photos with a friend and asked for comments. Now, I can see the comments on individual photos in the collection in Lightroom Classic when they sync. How can I view these comments on the original photo stored on my computer's hard drive?

Please can someone suggest a solution to a recent problem I am having in the develop module of LRC version 13.4 where I am no longer able to get the masking tool to work for either the subject or background. It does however work if I select sky. Hello Lightroom folks,I got a problem with my Lightroom. When im developing RAWs, every 30-60 minutes my whole windows freezes. At first, i can still move the mouse, but after a few seconds also this is not possible anymore. I can not go into Taskmanager or click anything, i have to brute force reset the PC.I think it only happens once I applied masks to several images. But its not really reproducible. I had that freezing issues also with the last 2-3 Lightroom versions, so its not limited to the newest one.I do not observe any overheating (CPU stays <70°C and GPU <60°C). Hello I have your app Lightroom, because you have a policy that states that you do not use or sell image and video material to third parties.So I assume that what I download from my device and that I edit in lightroom will not be used or sold to anyone else. However, I have the problem that I can't make collages in Lightroom, but on the other hand it is possible in Lightroom classic. In this connection, I want to make sure that the same security policy applies in Lightroom Classic before I install it.

When I try to import files, by adding to an existing catalog, from an external hard drive, I get a pop up box titled: "Some import operations were not performed".  In the error report it says "An unknown error occurred (170)".  I assume the "170" refers to the number of images that are affected not an error code.  This problem only affects some images as others have been successfully imported.  I have checked permissions, as recommended in other posts, even though there isn't a "destination" file when adding images to a catalog.  I did upgrade my computer and operating systems in the last two months, and the problems may have begun around that time.  What am I missing? Catalina, 10.15.7Lightroom CC, 10.1

So I've had no problems until recently with lightroom classic syncing up with lightroom mobile so that I can easily review and download pictures to my phone. Now it seems that my lightroom mobile and web are synced up but anything I do in Classic will not sync to those two. For example if I edit or make a new collection on lightroom web It will sync and show on my lightroom mobile but not to classic. I just want to be able to see my Classic collections on mobile. Things Ive tried:-Reinstalling all apps-Deleting/Renaming the Sync.lrdata file.-Rebuilding Sync Data If anyone can please suggest a fix I would appreciate it! Lightroom is currently a waste of money for me without this working.

Hallo, seit meinem letzten Update von Lightroom Classic (Version 13.5.1 / Catalog v13-3), kann ich keine Objekte oder Hintergründe mehr maskieren. Weder bei Lightroom noch bei Lightroom Classic. Ich habe schon einige ältere Versionen herunter geladen, bei welchen es wieder funktioniert hat, allerdings waren bei diesen Versionen die "KI-Entfernungsmöglichkeiten" nicht gegeben. Bei Lightroom kommt auch "Fehlermeldung" stehen. Kann mir vielleicht einer hierbei helfen? Vielen Dank im Vorraus.

I finally figured out what has been a mysterious issue when analyzing color charts for Camera Calibration in Lightroom Classic. I use an transparent overlay PNG in Develop (in PhotoProRGB) to check if my custom DCP profiles are correct by placing it over the ColorChecker SG shot with the correct profile applied. If the colors on the inside match the overlay, the calibration is good. PS - all monitors / displays are calibrated using the latest i1Profiler and i1Pro3, using version 2 ICC Matrix Profiles. HDR mode off across the board. I have an Asus ProArt wide gamut display in the studio, and use the Macbook Pro M1 screen on site. I noticed that using the Macbook looking at my color chart, the red and teal patches were always too dark and saturated, but on my Asus ProArt everything was perfect. After some digging I finally realized that the issue was (drumroll please!) I just installed Lightroom Classic version 13.5.1 on my new windows PC, and I notice that the white balance selector no longer returns to inactive after use.  Is there a setting that I can access to force it to go inactive, once I select my white point?

Hello there. I have a strange issue ocurring. I did most of the editing of the image in lightroom, and then took it into photoshop to replace the sky. When I save in Ps, and return to lightroom, a coloured band appears across the image. See attached screenshots. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

I just purchased a new Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge PC equipped with Windows 11 Home, version 24H2. I installed Creative Cloud, but, despite having a "photography" subscription, the LR Classic app is not present on the desktop (LR and PS are regularly present). With Adobe assistance we tried to install LrC from a dedicated link, but there seems to be a problem with the O.S. version. We also tried to activate remote control, but even then an unsupported OS problem arose.Please could anyone help me?

My secondary screen jumps every time I switch from grid to loop view. It is annoying as hell. My software is up-to-date. I've gone through my monitor settings and think those are right. I need a f solution.
