Lightroom Classic

I recently updated Lightroom Classic and now when I import, I see a notification on the screen that says "Sync Paused." Later during that same import, I see "Sync On." I did not see that before. I checked Preferences > Lightroom Sync but I didn't see anything that seemed to relate to those notifications. What do those notifications mean and is it something new for v9.3 or did some setting go back to a default?

Hi Adobe! I have issues with Lens blur. This feature is working very slow while applying and after applied slow down my entire system. It's a nightmare using Lightroom after lens blur applied . My system is Laptop Microsoft Surface book3, 16GB RAM. Windows.please urgently provide solution so I can keep using Lightroom.  Thanks a lot

Lightroom has been crashing more and more lately when i use the crop tool. Today it is at its worst; crashes EVERY time I go into the crop tool. I thought it was my second monitor at first, nope. Turned that off - have updated graphics drivers, tried turning GPU acceleration off, reset LR preferences, nothing is working. This problem appeared with the most recent update. How do I roll back? I am unable to get any work done because of this!   

Boas, O meu lightroom não está a importar os perfis de cor de diferentes sites. Preciso de importar para prints. Já alguém teve este problema?

In the Print Module, I just created a bunch of page layout templates and saved them before building out a number of pages with different layouts. Saving the layouts wasn't an issue, however, after adding photos to the first page then selecting a new page to drag across another saved layout template, it appears to be added without issue but if I navigate to the first page I created it disappears and the only page that left is the 2nd page (that is now #1 page instead of #2). This happens 100% of the time. I can't add multiple pages without other pages magically disappearing. This is extremely annoying since I use the print layouts to design wedding albums. Unless I'm doing something wrong, ADOBE PLEASE FIX!

Last release was causing lots of issues, this new release seems even better than normal - thanks !

Bonjour,  J'ai un problème lorsque je trie mes photos dans la bibliothèque. Toutes les photos visionnées une par une apparaissent bien, par contre toutes celles non visionnées apparaissent pixelisées. Il m'est donc impossible de faire mes sélections avec une vue d'ensemble de plusieurs photos à la fois, je suis obligée de cliquer sur chaque photo. Comment résoudre ça svp ?  

Hi, I was wondering if there is a limit to how many images Lightroom can batch process without 'messing' up? That's the only thing I can think of that is happening.I have 1135 images from a night sequence of shots.Viewed in their raw state - all the images are about the same in terms of exposure, color, etc.I had initially applied a preset to all of them which included denoising when I noticed the issue.So to test, I started over in a new folder, putting a copy of the raw files there and imported them 'new'.This time I only applied a batch of denoising with enhance under the Photo Tab.After that was done, I selected all the dng files only and in development hit the Reset button to have a 'plain' preset to test and used synchronized button with all options selected except masks.I let this process, but the same results came out.A number of images had glaring differences from each other - like a different preset had been applied to them.Can't figure out what's going on or how to get the s

Bought a new Macbook M3 Pro (18gB), with Mac OS Sonoma version 14.6.1. tried to install LrC version 13.5.1, but it does not start and provides error message and closes-down. Reinstalling LrC did not help, not option + shift at start-up to renew preferences did not help.  How can i fix this?Thanks, Jules   

The past few weeks, Lightroom has been unusably slow! Every time I zoom in or out, I get the Mac Spinning Beach Ball for several long seconds, like half a minute or so. It makes going through hundreds of photos excrutiating, and I'm having to use Capture One just to get things done!   Also when trying to go into Full Screen mode, the screen goes black and it says "Loading," but it never does, so I have to use the arrow keys to go back and forth to jog it to life, and when it does, it's often an older version of the image, until I job back and forth a few more times.   Acceleration is set to Default, which is on. I'm on a common M1 Max Macbook.   [moved from bugs to discussions according to the community rules - Mod.]

Hola a todos.Reporto un inconveniente que estoy experimentando con Lightroom Classic. Hace ya algunas actualizaciones, se agregaron las funciones "select people" como opción en "Máscaras" y "Lens blur" con todas sus opciones. Ambas características funcionaron satisfactoriamente durante un tiempo pero, a partir de alguna actualización más o menos reciente (no recuerdo qué versión) dejaron de funcionar. En el caso de querer utilizar la máscara "select people" recibo siempre el mensaje "no people found".Cuando intento usar "Lens blur"....."analyzing..." hasta que finalmente recibo el mensaje de error "Something went wrong. There was an unexpected error and your request could not be completed".Repito que ambas funcionalidades operaban normalmente cuando fueron incorporadas a Lightroom y lo siguieron haciendo durante un tiempo. Utilizo Windows 10 y la última versión de Lightroom Classic (13.5.1).Agradezco desde ya todo comentario, consejo y/o recomendación.Saludos!

Please Sir, im usually rating my JPEGs in Adobe Bridge after a Shooting, so i can easily look at them in the Windows Explorer aswell. If im in Lightroom, i cant use the filter option, because it would show me the rated JPEGs only. And im using the RAWS to edit. Is there a way to rate both at the same time?

PHOTO BOOKS I’m trying to cut down the number of key strokes that  need to use to make a book.  I seem to be constantly changing font, size, colour, offset  etc … which is very time consuming.  My last book was 150 pages with over 1,100 images and a large amount of text.  Having to change all text settings each time a new page is added is so frustrating and such a waste of time.  How do I best make a book template for small landscapes books {10 x  8}?I want to standardise settings globally throughout the bookbackground colour - 65%font - Adobe Cleanfont colour - 35%font sizepage 12photo 8offsetHow do I best edit photo text especially when the font is really small?Why are page numbers sometimes not consistent  throughout the entire book?If I use one of my templates or use a previous book with all photos deleted, why do some pictures remain in  the book?How is it best to edit a photo that is already in a book? 

I have merged an old Lightroom Catalogue in to my Main Lightroom catalogue and accidentaly created duplicate images, thousands of them (sometimnes triplicates), I guess I must have performed the process before, foregotten, and not deleted the catalogues I was merged after I'd merged them.... then come back and done the process again... thus creating duplicates.My problem is I want to remove the duplicates without losing the edited versions; just those I have meged in.  The folder has many subsequent images which are not duplicated , so I cant start the process again?

Hello, If you have created more than 10 mask, Lightroom brush it's starting to work really slow because of multiple masks. Please improve this in the next release.  I've attached a GIF to see the behaviour of the app.    [moved from bugs to discussions according to the community rules - Mod.]

iMac Pro (2017), macOS Mojave 10.14 Graphic Rodeon Pro Vega 64I installed the new version of Lightroom Classic CC, but when I tried to start Lightroom, I got permission issues. Then I tried every suggestion including changing the password that you suggest in your page. Unfortunately I still have the same problem. I uninstall the Lightroom then reinstall, that also did not work. So I went back and reinstall the older version. Any suggestions?

Hallo,   ich habe einen Hauptkatalog von Lightroom Classic mit 511.767 Fotos (momentane Größe 11,3 GB), der mit Lightroom synchronisiert wird. Dort verwalte ich alle Bilder, die ich mache, beruflich und privat. Er ist schon relativ alt (circa 10 bis 15 Jahre) und hat diverse Updates mitgemacht. Generell gab es einige Sachen, die schon seit Jahren extrem langsam abliefen, z.B. die Katalogsicherung (inkl. Optimierung) dauert immer um die 30 Minuten. Seit dem Update zu v13 reagiert aber alles so extrem langsam, angefangen beim Import der Bilder bis zum Anzeigen von neuen Sammlungen, die angelegt wurden (meistens werden sie erst beim Neustart des Programms angezeigt) und noch viele andere Sachen in der Bildbearbeitung, die ein reibungsloses und effektives Arbeiten unmöglich machen. Ich habe schon diverse Dinge versuchtum den Katalog, seine Größe und Geschwindigkeit zu optimieren, z.B. das Protokoll für die Bilder gelöscht, den Preview-Cache gelöscht usw. Es wird leider nicht besser. &

I can't update my Lightroom Classic and Photoshop. I keep getting this pop-up "Updates have been disabled for this machine. Please contact your administrator." How do I fix this ? Please help.

I have many Pixieset albums published through the LRC Pixieset plug-in within the Publish Services tab. Photos are missing from the pixieset albums in LRC, even recent albums. I'm using LRC 13.4 version. When I want to edit a photo from a certain event, I go to that folder and instead of having the hundreds of photos inside of it, it shows zero photos. Although none of the source albums are on the computer itself anymore, some albums still show photos from events, and some don't (picture). Please let me know if you're familiar with this or might have ideas. Thank you!

Hey there, i need to properly set up my color calibration with my Macbook Pro (m1 2020). I know, theres a lot of tutorials out there but a lof of them were wildly inaccurate! Please advise. While we at it, what do you keep my LR color profile?I use camera standard. Either way, please let me know. Thanks!

Ich weiß nicht, wie viele Stunde ich mich schon über lightroom classic geärgert habe, und hatte gehofft mit der neuen 13.3.1 Version würde alles besser. Mitnichten! Ich hatte die Version schon einmal installier (und kurz darauf wieder de-installiert), weil ich dringend etwas fertig haben musste und ich nicht arbeiten konnte. Jetzt versuchte ich es ein zweites mal, es funktioniert nicht gut. Arbeite auf einem Mac, aktuellste Version von Sonoma. Auch wenn ich die Bilder gut bearbeiten kann – momentan funktioniert der export nicht bzw es dauert 10 min bis irgendwann das export Fenster erscheint. Das selbe gilt für die Veröffentlichung über das smugmug plugin. ich bin ziemlich ratlos… das optimieren des Vorschaukatalogs hat die ganze Nacht gedauert und ich habe es jetzt abgebrochen, das kann einfach nicht richtig sein....
