The most recent update to LR classic (12.3) does not contain all of my Topaz Plugins. I actually unistalled all of them and then downloaded and reinstalled them. The only apps that I can use the "Edit In" option from LR are Photoshop, Topaz Sharpen AI and Topaz Denoise AI. I also have Topaz Photo AI, Topaz Adjust AI, Topaz Mask AI and Topaz Gigapixel AI. How to I get the plugins for these to work with LR like they used to?
Hello,I use the latest version of Lightroom Classic. When I import a photo that has been marked as protected with the key in the camera, Lightroom behaves strangely. If I import via a card reader, the photo ends up with write protection on the hard drive, which makes further work cumbersome. If I import directly from the Nikon Z9 via USB-C cable, the photo ends up on the hard drive WITHOUT write protection. Why is the behaviour different?Thank you
Pour la suppression dans LR CC et même dans PhotoShop, Google fais beaucoup mieux. surtout dans LR CCJe suis vraiment dessus.
Yellow badges are missing on shared and commented photos (Lightroom Classic CC desktop)When a comment is posted for a photo, the collection and photo thumbnails should display with a yellow badge () to indicate feedback activity. Unfortunately after reinstalling Windows 10 and Lightroom Classic CC desktop these yellow badges are missing. I can see comments and likes when scrolling over the images but do not want to look it up several hundreds of pics when shared. Other badges are okay (indicating edited photos, cropped badges, keyword badges) and visible, only the yellow ones are missing.1.) Edit --> Preferences --> Interface --> Show badges: ON2.) View --> View preferences --> Cell icons --> Thumbnail Badges: ON3.) Collections --> Library Window --> Grid view --> Sort: Last comment time switching ON and OFF --> no effect; Sort: A-Z --> Z-A --> no effect4.) Delete All Synced Data and rebuild shared collectio
I've been experiencing a massive drop in performance in Lightroom. On my Windows Desktop (7900X, 64GB DDR5, RTX 4080) as well as on a Macbook 16" (M1 Max, 32gb, 32C GPU). I tend to use a fair bit of masks and often work with panoramas, but I don't really had much issues with that in the past. Especially when working on/with/adding masks, the program becomes pretty much unresponsive and at times even crashes. I've tried with GPU acceleration on and off, experience is pretty much the same. All drivers are also up-to-date. Anyone else experiencing any of the sort? Solutions? Or am I using an excessive amount of masks (I really don't think I am).
I used Lightroom Classic today to import and edit 631 images, did some editing, exports, closed the apllication and allowed it to backup the catalogue. I now find that LrC will not open, and that lrcat.lock, lrct-shm and lrcat-wal files are continually being created and deleted in the current catalogue folder (version 13.3). Does this mean that my catalogue is corrupt, and if so how can I recover? As far as I know there have been no updates today to LrC or Windows 11.
A client has a Win10 machine running LrC 13.4 and using CanonPro300 with latest Windows driver.. When we save a new print template the selected Colour Management Profile becomes blank. This happens even if managed by printer is selected. As soon as we save the template or we update an existing template the profile becomes blank. We also got same behaviour with EpsonP900 so it doesnt seem to be dependant on the printer driver.Selecting a pre-saved template results in the profile becoming blank. Our only workaround is to choose a print template, then select the profile before printing every time.
I was working on my laptop and I was clearing space off my mac. Not realizing I had accidentally deleted my LightRoom Catalog it was about 300+ gb. Is there any way I can recover this? I really need it back...The issue also was it didn't finish Synching
How do I find out which preset is applied on import? My images automatically have the same settings applied when imported but nothing appears under Develop Settings.
Hi, I have a .tif and I need to resize the image and save as a .jpg. Should I resize in photoshop (and re-sharpen to counter any softness caused by the re-sizing) then import into Lightroom and export using output sharpening OR can I import the wrong-sized tif into Lightroom and just export the tif as a jpg with the altered dimensions and output sharpening in one go? — Im not concerned about the time factor, just if the quality will be affected. thanks
Lightroom is not able to process a spherical 360° panorama with 137 Pictures? how adobe can fix same?
I have LR 5.7.1. A few weeks ago I got the error reading cache message in my primary catalog. I got nice help from this list and removed the two things---root pixelss and db files. II'm hoping not to confuse people by the following. I did not move these two items to the trash bin. I DELETED (maybe like an idiot) the entire icon containing these two things. That did not appear to solve the problem On a second icon I did move the root pixels and db thing to the trash bin. Still no luck getting into my primary catalog whne trying to get into LR from the desktop icon. But I discovered if I clicked on the icon under lightroom pics in my computer I could get into my secondary catalog.. I'm not sure if I succeeded in getting into my secondary catalog before or after removing the two items. I still can't get into my primary catalog. Before I take a squirt gun to my head someone please tell me I haven't killed my primary catalog by stupidly deleting an entire icon, and i
LrC for Mac 13.4MacBook Pro with M2 chip and 16 GB of RAM LrC indicates that it has been uploading one photo since yesterday. I can't close the application without it asking me if I want to shut down while syncing is in progress. Despite the stuck photo I can still sync other photos and stop syncing them (so they're removed from the cloud). Steps taken:Checked sync status on the web and it says there are 0 photos.Shut down LrC and restarted my Mac.Generated a diagnostic report, uploaded it to ChatGPT and asked which photo has sync issues. It identified one that I was working on earlier so I deleted it from the collection that was syncing to the cloud, closed LrC, rebooted my Mac.Stopped syncing the entire collection that had contained the photo, closed LrC, and rebooted.Looked at the problem photo in a different collection that was not syncing (the sync didn't fail--I never tried syncing it) and noticed a "!" on the thumbnail. I clicked on it and it said, "The metadata
Windows 10 Pro, Current version of Lightroom CC Classic, current version of Bridge. I’m creating a preset using a custom camera profile for Lightroom. Yes, it's actually CREATED in ACR, but it's for use in Lightroom so the Bridge people are going to send me here... To do this I created a profile by opening an image in Lightroom, doing the normal adjustments, then opening it in Photoshop.I made the tone and color changes I wanted in Photoshop and saved the color lookup table as a .CUBE.That all works. I’ve got a LUT in a .CUBE file. It does not appear I can create a new profile in Lightroom (if I CAN, can someone point me to how), so:Opened Bridge, grabbed an image from the camera I want (Nikon D500), set the profile to Camera Standard (my standard profile), then clicked “Presets” and opened the New Profile popup by doing Alt/click on the icon next to the trashcan at the bottom.Gave it a name, unclicked everything EXCEPT “Camera Profile”, which is Camera Neut
Hi,I have a Leica Q, and when I import my raw images into Lightroom (using the available version), and when in the Develop module, I don't see the embedded Color Profile as an option. One of my peers, while doing the same with his Leica Q and with the same version of Lightroom does have the embedded color available for his images. How do I get the embedded color profile to show up? I thought that it was supposed to be attached with the actual raw image but the only profiles available are the most ones from Adobe. And we did check and the camera has the latest firmware as well.Really appreciate the support with this issue. Thanks so much, Julio
I have Lightroom 4 and am wondering how to update it to latest version. Do I simply download the latest version? If so, will all my photos from the Lightroom 4 automatically transfer over?
I have been using Lightroom for several years to make websites about abought my vacations. All these websites, from 2923 back 10+ years display differently than I want in Safari for Mac, folding the last thumbnail image in each row to the next line. This does not happen in Chrome or Safari for iPhone. Why? What can I do to stop this?Lightroom, Chrome, iPhone:ABCDEFGHIJKLMNO Safari for Mac:ABCDEFGHIJKLMNP
Hi there, can you please help? I have created some presets in groups, but for all of the presets, the amount slider is greyed out. I selected one of my presets and clicked the plus button to convert it to a new preset with the amount slider checked. However, after doing this, when I click on the preset, the amount slider is still greyed out. Are there any settings that need to be adjusted to get the amount slider to work? What am I doing wrong? For reference I am on a MacBook Pro. Thank you.
My lightroom classic has been working just fine for the last year, until day, when many of the buttons don't work. The button click registers because it changes color, but the popup screen sdon't pop up. I have tried everything. I've reset preferences, my computer, and I even deinstalled and reinstalled the app. I noticed the problem when I went to print a contact sheet and the "print" button doesnt work. The "purge cache" button also doesn't work. Anyone know how to solve? I can't finf a customer service number. I don't know what else I can do. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I can no longer get the Lightroom Classic to open. Nothing has changed on my side and this started 4 days ago to my recollection. It is running per Task Manager but nothing on the screen. Rebooted many times and turned off for hours and tried again, nothing. I read here in April of 2023 another had the same issue and the solution was removing a metrics.json file that seemed to work in that April 2023 post but I cannot find that file anywhere. Can't send images from lightroom classic to photoshop after uninstalling and reinstalling both. "Edit In" remains greyed out for entire drop down menu. Using latest updates: Classic 13.4 and 25.11.0. Was working fine last week. Help.
I don't know what changed on my Windows 10 laptop, but lightroom classic is not working. When I attempt to open it, nothing appears to happen. But when I go to task manager, it is listed in background apps. I have read some of the old posts (some from 2017, so I doubt they are applicable in 2024) and nothing is working. Some of them talk about setting the priority but don't tell you where to find the option to do so. I have uninstalled and re-installed several times and re-started computer. This is so frustrating. Any and all help is appreciated. Windows 10, LR classic version 13.4.0.1.
In Lightroom Classic I have undertaken some healing of the image. As you would expect when these have been completed and the healing tool switched off the locations are not visible in the image.I made various other adjustments to the image including a white border. Having printed the image I found I needed to print a lighter version. Opening the image tonight there were various light grey spots/splodges where some of the healing had been undertaken. Mostly in the white border but a couple that bridged the image and the white border. I have never encountered such anomalies before. I don't recall them being there before the image was sent for printing and they certainly don't appear on the image or the white border as printed.Has anyone encountered this and been able to clean up the image as I don't want to lighten the image where I need to and have these spots/splodges on it!I could go back the original image and re-add the border and see if this reoccurs, but I wonder if there is
Have a bunch of Synced collections. When I unsync one, not only does it stop syncing that collection it adds a duplicagte with a "-2" on the collection name but containing no images. Starting conditions1) in LR/Cloud (and LrC) have albums in Folders as well as not in folders2) In this case in LR there is an album "LRM: USA-CA-Southern" in a folder which contains only SP's (Smart Previews). In addition there is an album, not in a folder with the same name also containing SP's.It go this way when the system decided that my synced catalog was a different one than it thought it was and re-downloaded EVERYTHING from LR/Cloud (basically SP's) to LrC and replicated the same Folder names as new collections in LrC. So, in LrC the Collections containing my original LrC images were still showing in thier respective Collection Sets but were all now unsynced and new redundant collecfitons containing SP's only (missing image file) from LR/Cloud were not in collecti
