Lightroom Classic

My LRC sets these default settings when I edit a RAW file. How can I set them to zero by default?

I use Command Option Shift Backspace a lot to delete photos in the library on my initial first pass, while also starring photos 1 or 2 stars to begin with. While doing this (on a new M3 Macbook Pro -  so it's not the computer that's causing this delay), there is a significant delay while Lightroom appears to need to 'catch up' with what I've asked it to do. Has anyone else experienced this?

Everytime I want to use "mask" and click on this symbol, LR Classic shuts down immediately. It happens since approx. 2 weeks, it appears with any catalogues and fotos.- I use the latest Mac iOs version: macOS Sequoia Beta 15.0- I use the latest LR Classic version: 13.4- I have already tried to create new catalogues...nothing helps.The shut-down problem occurs ONLY when I try to use the "mask" function, using all other functions is ok.Does anyone have the same problem, can help or give tipps what to do??Many thanks in advance!

I'm running the following version of Lightroom Classic : Lightroom Classic version: 13.4 [ 202406181129-60d181b7 ]License: Creative CloudLanguage setting: enOperating system: Windows 10 - Home Premium Edition I've run into a problem I can't seem to solve. The adjustment slider is unavailable on some of the presets I created.  The documentation states: "If you are unable to select the Support Amount Slider option, that indicates the selected settings do not support the Amount slider." But, which settings are incompatible with the slider? When I created the preset, Support Amount Slider is checked.  

Just bought a Canon Powershot SX 70 HS and took some pictures in RAW withit. Trying to import them in LRC and I get 'empty folder'?? So LRC doen't recognize CR3 files from this camera type. But this in the supported camera list??

Suddenly, when I use the brush tool to create a mask on a black-and-white image, and then adjust the exposure slider the masked area, turns to a color instead of just adjusting the brightness. It used to just adjust the brightness, but something has changed and I don't know what. I need help to fix this. 

I have a 27 5k iMac with 32gb RAM. LR 2015.8 (CC license). Yosemite.My LR catalog is around 2.5gb. The files are stored on an external thunderbolt bay with few terabytes of available space.When I start Lightroom, it starts eating up memory up to the moment that it brings the computer to its knees. Please note this is happening without me doing anything, I just start Lightroom, without any module switch or action, it will just eat up all the memory, this takes few minutes to eat up the 32gb. I have purged the caches, optimised the catalog, no difference.I have reinstalled LR, no difference.Any idea? This started to happen all of a sudden. I am totally blocked and cannot work anymore...

Hi,ich habe Probleme mit der Synchronisation von Videos.Videos werden zwar aus der Cloud nach LR Classic importiert, löscht man dann Videos in LR Classic verbleiben sie aber in der Cloud. Also anderes Verhalten als bei Fotos.Videos können zwar in LR Classic in mehreren Sammlungen enthalten sein, werden aber leider nur in der jeweils ersten Sammlung in die Cloud synchronisiert.Es gelingt somit z. Bsp. nicht, eine zusätzliche Sammlung aller Videos von LR Classic in die Cloud zu synchronisieren.Meiner Meinung nach ist das Verhalten erst seit ca. 3-4 Monaten so.Derzeit muss ich die Videos in meinem Beispiel dann zusätzlich non mal in das gewünschte Album in der Cloud verschieben.Ist das ein Problem bei mir oder haben das andere auch schon festgestellt?

Hi all, I noticed that if I put the Dell U2723QE monitor to the sRGB setting on Win11, the colors look much less saturated compared to the Macbook Air M2 screen. If I select any other monitor setting (e.g. 6500K), the colors are overblown. As explained to me in this post https://www.reddit.com/r/Monitors/comments/129o5sb/more_vivid_colors_on_dell_u2723qe_while_connected/ , Windows does not have good color management and oversaturates wide-gamut displays if not put into sRGB profile. But why is it undersaturated in the sRGB setting? It looks washed out compared to any other display that I have and use. Also when I edit photos in Lightroom, the images do not look as they look on a Macbook, iPad, or Android phone. They are undersaturated in sRGB settings on Win11. If I put the screen to a 6500K setting, I feel like the saturation in Lightroom on Macbook and Windows match. I have problem importing images to Lightroom classic. What I do1. Start lightroom2. File -> Import photos and video3. Select a folder on a USB device, shoose to "Add" (not copy).4. Click on "Import".5. The import starts, starting to import some images. After a while, it halts6. Nothing happens, no error message, nothing.It will import some of the images, but not all.Troubleshooting* I have verified that "Files and Folders" has the correct permissions (running macos), every thing is checked (including "Removable volumes").* I have tried to give "Full disk access", same problem.* Tried to import other folder on the USB device, same problem.* Tried to import the folder from "Apple Photos", "Darktable", "Mylio", no problem. i'm transffering my old aperture library over to LRC using the plugin, and its doing a great job, however it's not keeping my folder hierarchy intact, and is putting all the photos in month/day folders instead. i don't see any options to preserve the folder hierarchy. anyone know a workaround? it would take ages to recreate the folders manually and place all the respective photos within them. thanks! 

Hello,I primarily use Lightroom Classic (current version) on a Macbook Pro. But how do I move my entire Lightroom setup to the secondary Macbook Air? I don't want to move photos (I don't even want the same library), but I need to transfer the complete settings, skins, layouts, exports, presets, signatures... in short, everything so that the Lightroom experience looks the same on the secondary Macbook Air as it does on the primary Macbook Pro.What is the procedure please? Thanks!

Hi.  I'm using LRC 13.4.  I have notice recently that when I launch a plug in like Topaz Photo AI or Nix 7 Silver Efex from LRC,  it takes a very long time to load.  Any thoughts why this would be?   I'm running on a Windows with intel i9 core, 32 gigs of ram, a Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070  and an Intel UHD Graphics 770. Both cards have the latest drivers.

Hallo, beim Freistellen in Lightroom classic hat die checkbox "Auf Bild einschränken" keinerlei Auswirkung mehr. Das war doch früher mal anders, oder?Wenn ich die Checkbox deaktiviere, kann ich den Rahmen trotzdem immer nur noch innerhalb de3s Bildes bewegen .. (macOS, aktuelle classic Version) Grüße, Bernie

Hi there, I encounter a problem when launching Lightroom Classic on Windows since approximately 1 mounth. When I click on the Lightroom Classic open button,  a loading spin appears during few seconds then nothing happens (the soft doesn't load/appears). The strange thing is that I'm able to see Lightroom working in the Windows task manager. The other strange thing is that Photoshop lauch well. I tried :Every button that is possible (Lightroom.exe from C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Lightroom Classic or open button from the Create Cloud Desktop application)Execute Lightroom as administratorDowngrade Lightroom Classic to previous versions (13.0 and 12.0)Uninstall all Windows updates from 2024 My configuration :Lightroom - version 13.4Windows 11 - version 23H2

The Export option Add To Stack option isn't available when exporting from a smart collection, though it is available when exporting from a regular collection. Since the stack is created in the folder even when exporting from a regular collection, there is no valid design reason to restrict the option when exporting from a smart collection. To reproduce on LR 13.4 / Mac OS 14.5: 1. Select a smart collection and then a photo in that smart collection. 2. Do File > Export. 3. Select the options Export To: Same Folder As Original Photo and Add To This Catalog, and observe that the option Add To Stack is not visible (incorrect): 4. Select a collection and a photo in that collection. 5. Do File > Export.  6. Select the options Export To: Same Folder As Original Photo and Add To This Catalog, and observe that the option Add To Stack is visible (correct):   

I cannot choose add to stack in export settings. Yes, I have "the same folder" option selected and "add to this catalog"Windows 11 

Hi!I have an issue where my monitor keeps disconnecting and reconnecting. This only happens when using Lightroom. It happens when I execute tasks in Lightroom, which can be everything from reducing noise to adding a gradient.  Can someone help me with this? Hi there, I've been having some troubles with the Adobe Creative Cloud app. When trying to access the Apps it's stuck on 'Loading Apps Tab' with the round loading symbol. I've gone through a few other posts with the different reccomendations of making sure everything is up to date (including Windows), turning off Firewalls, restarting computer multiple times etc...I've also seen the reccomendation of uninstalling the Creative Cloud, however this would uninstall Lightroom as well. I'm really hesitent to do this because I've got many years worth of presets and settings saved, and presumably when uninstalling the entire program it would remove those? How can I save all of my current settings/presets so if I uninstall it all, when I go to reinstall the program I can theoretically copy those settings/presets I've made back into the newly installed version? Or is there any way I can manually update Lightroom classic without going through the CC? Thanks in advance!

Hi, I have 3 monitors and have selected the 2nd monitor in the Lightroom Preferences (Display - Choose a monitor for the secondary window).Regularly on starting the programme, my choice is not respected and i have to re-enter the prefernces pane to change the secondary display.

Leider hat sich mein PC nach einem BIOS Update zerschossen, und ich musste ihn neu installieren. Da das System nicht mehr zu starten gewesen ist, konnte ich Lightroom vorher nicht installieren. Nun habe ich das Problem, dass ich Lightrrom nicht mehr installieren kann, da das Programm sagt, dass es auf zu vielen Rechnern installiert ist. Das stimmt so ja nicht, da die alte Festplatte gelöscht wurde. Was kann ich tun?

Dear Community, I am designing a book in the Lightroom Classic (13.4) Book Module.  The photos I want to use, are in different collections. But I cannot figure out how to change the collection in the Filmstrip section without also changing the book I am looking at. Can you help? I could of course put all the photos in one collection, but that would make the layout process extremely slow and annoying. Thanks!
