I wish I could teather my camera to Lightroom classic on my laptop via a wi-fi connection instead of a physical teather cable.
As a timelapse photographer, I need this feature so much!Birds suddendly appear in different parts of the frame & look like rubbish in the final video. I know some tricks in AE/Pr how to remove them fast with the Lighten blend mode by duplicating the same footage and moving it 1 frame forward, but it doesn't always work perfectly. It often gives artifacts. Being a perfectionist, I do it manually frame by frame in PS with the Spot Healing brush. Can you imagine how time consuming it is? 300-500+ images to clean... At sunrise the birds wake up and are very active. Almost the same thing with the sunsets. That's why I need the feature like the content aware birds removal. I'm sure it would be also useful for amateurs and landscape photographers. How should it work? The filter should automatically detect birds and remove them like the Content aware fill. You already have the algorithm that selects the sky, just teach it to find the darkes
I have to scroll a lot of presets in lightroon and must constantly scrolling. A search or sorting function here would be very helpful. thanks 🙂
I love that we can now add colours to Folders. It would be great if the colour lables for Folder Panels were Visible Across Bridge and PS
As soneone who uses Loupe Overlay with clients layouts almost every shoot to show a client how their image will fit into a banner ad, print ad or whatever needs they have I wish that we could get a more deliberate overlay tool in the right hand sections. Using transprant png's to illustrate the image/ad relationship I am asked every shoot to see how an image will work with a super wide banner ad, an instagram ad, a vertical ad etc etc. Currently switiching between them is cumbersome and adjusting the image and layout is tricky. It would be amazing to be able to just scroll through each layout as it works over one image, with easier way of adjusting the image within the overlay for the different layouts.
When we change Preset Amount for a Preset that contains a Point Curve LrC automatically places on it several control points more. E.g. Linear Curve Change Preset Amout to +101 S Curve Then change Preset Amout to +101 Placing perfectly on the existing curve several control point is very useful, it should not be doable ONLY via Preset Amount. Please implement a "Draw All Control Points" option via right clicking the channel. All the control points should be placed evenly on the curve so also in the HDR region (if we are in HDR) .
"RGB Channels" should be available in Copy, Sync, Preset and "Update with Current Settings" windows. It has bee asked over and over and it requires very little engineering to add 4 more checkboxes. To save Ui space they don't even need to be all put vertically. .
Hoping Adobe would consider expanding the functionality of the Previous Import selection to include a dropdown of the last 5 or 10 imports. When ingesting multiple cards at once, they are often split into various folders. Since the majority of the time, images are getting the most attention shortly after import, it would be great to have a quick way to visit several of the most recent imports, not just the previous one.
At today Copying/Syncing Color Grading or creating Color Grading presets is terribly limited and problematic. When Copying, Syncing or creating a Color Grading Preset we are not given enough choices, we can only choose the entire Color Grading as it is in bulk. Please implement these missing options options in the Copy/Sync and Preset creation menus. [] All Color Grading [] Shadows Hue and Saturation [] Shadows Luminance [] Midtones Hue and Saturation [] Midtones Luminance [] Highlights Hue and Saturation [] Highlights Luminance [] General Hue and Saturation [] General Luiminace [] Color Grading Blending [] Color Grading Balance • This is an Alternative shorter list of options. []Color Grading [] 3 Way Hue(s) and Saturation(s) [] 3 Way Luminances []General Hue and Saturation []General Luminance&nb
Please make colors, flags and stars appear on or around photos when using a second monitor with Adobe Lightroom Classic. This will help having to look back and forth between monitors to see how the photos are colored, rated and flagged.
We do not need 3 HDR checkboxes when we Sync, Copy, create Preset or use "Update with Current Settings".Adding to this the current checkboxes are not really informative. 2 checkboxes are sufficient.Instead of just saying "HDR Mode: On/Off" state clearly the HDR limit we are using. EDIT When HDR is off then simply gray out the text BUT show the HDR Limit..two clues in one checkbox. Also let us tick "SDR Settings" checkbox independently of HDR Mode. This is particularly useful for Presets. Also in some cases the users might want to sync SDR Settings but not activate HDR in the destination images... @johnrellis brilliant Copy Setting Plug-in already allows it..
Hello,In my workflow I use the keywording system A LOT, but it's pretty annoying that I have to click everytime to open the Keyword Set dropdown menu. Instead it would be much easier and user friendly to a have a keyboard shortcut for it. To give you an example, today I'll have to add keywords to ~1200 images (of different subjects: animals, plants, landscapes, etc...), all taken on my last trip. So, for every different subject I will have to click on the Keyword Set menu to open and search for the set I need. Fortunatley, on MacOS, the search works very well and fast and the shortcuts for adding keywords from the set are time saving, but when I have to click a 1000 times to open the Keyword Set menu, it becomes counter productive and very annoying. I would be very nice to have this feature! Thanks!
I often use Window › Screen Mode › Full Screen Preview (F) to quickly share photos with family and friends. Unfortunately, videos don't playback in this mode; it just displays the first frame as a still. It'd be great if videos could be played in this mode! 🙏
When using Lightroom, shortcut keys do not work while inputting Korean. For example, frequently used 'G', 'E', 'D', etc. do not work. When using Lightroom, we often have to input Korean through multitasking. Switching between Korean and English input each time is a very expensive action. I think that if you process the shortcut keys with a standard keyboard layout, you will be able to make the shortcuts work regardless of any multi-languages. This is a way to greatly increase the productivity of non-English Lightroom users by adding simple functions. Please consider this as a high priority.
I use a lot of stacks. I stack my RAW's for panorama's, focus stacking, timelapse, etc. I assign a color label to the original RAW's and stack the mages that belong to the same sequence. I have a smart collection for every color label, but I see all the individual images and not the stack. I would like to see the stack, like I see the stack in the library.
Since LR on desktop has so much empty real estate at the top, I am hoping to have the ability to create a row shortcut icons of my choosing to place there, especially for repeating and frequently used functions. For instance, if I want to create multiple Linear Gradients, currently I have to click "Create New Mask" EVERY time. I would like just a single button that I can set that goes to LG, or RG, etc. I would also make one for the Region Tone Curve, or one of the RGB curves, or the Point Color, etc. The amount of time it would save on scrolling+clicking would be astronomical!
Since LR Classic 13 there is a search function for the own development presets. A search function for the presets for the brushes etc. would also be desirable. ! Thanks!
Hi, I don't understand why the new Point color is not available in a B&W picture edited from an original in color. It could be nice to adjust HSL in a specific area based on the original color file, even if we are in a monochrom adjsutments session. Thanks
The impact of the sliders in the development module is linear. It would be great if you could change this to exponential on a keystroke I.e pressing Shift-Control plus Sliding makes the scale exponential. normally you like to change the value of exposure, dark, white just be tiny steps from zero. If the scale of the slider is exponential you have better control.
Edit Capture Time issue - When I select a number of photos and use "Adjust to a specified date and time", rather than all having the specified date & time they are changed but have different dates & time around what was specified. Have not determined pattern, maybe offset from original date.Windows 7 SP1 64bit, Lightroom 5.2
It would be nice if the automated word wrap feature found in so many adobe products would also be available when adding Text Overlays to Slides in Lightroom Classic. I like to add a good bit of detail in my photo captions, but when I try to display the text in my slides, the text will remain in one line only and spills outside the slide template. Yes, you can reduce the font size by manipulating the bounding box size, but then the text becomes too small to read. It looks like I can add unicode characters to the text field, but none of them seem to have any effect in the Slideshow module. Automated word wrap; at least as an option, but be very helpful!
Over the years many of us have created, saved and applied Custom Curves to our images. These curves predate the Implementation of the new ExtendedToneCurvePV2012 and ExtendedMainCurve that have been introduced with HDR. This means that the curves in our library of presets or in our edited images, are not easily and flexibility usable for HDR...but it should not be the case.E.gThis S shaped Custom Curve was created in LrC 12 and this curve woks efficiently for the underlying Histogram. When we apply this curve (via a preset for instance) to an HDR image with comparable or nearly identical underlying histogram this is this result. This curve doens't work anymore, it is limited to SDR region because that's all we what had before LrC 13.The user must re-draw the entire S curve to make it work for HDR or must create a new preset but neither of the two operations is fast. Having to recreate HDR versions of our curves is a significant endeavor. &nbs
Hi all. Please allow us to create a Vitrual Copy from a Histry Step, Preset and Snapshot. I suggest the following methods in the Develop Module. . Cmd/Ctrl + right click on Step/Preset/Snaphsot to create a VC . Right Click on Step/Preset/Snaphsot > Create a VC Also it should be possible to create VC form a Snapshot using the following: Library > Right Click or Photo > Develop Settings > Sanpshots > "Name of Snapshot" > Create VC Develop Module > Right Click > Develop Settings > Sanpshots > "Name of Snapshot" > Create VC
At today it is impossible to paste/sync Healing and Merge it, alas LrC only "Replaces" healing. Please allow to Paste, Sync and Merge Healing. We are already given the choice to Merge or Replace masks so it's only natural and logical to have the same for Healing. .
Kolor Punku przydalo by się wiekszy zakres wyboru koloru.
