As a subscription software in a world where photographers are struggling with limited budgets, fast turnaround of great photos is CRUCIAL. Adobe, please give us the features available on Evoto for quick, stunning photos with a few clicks. We need to turn jobs around quickly, and Adobe, as a frontrunner, is years behind its rivals. Please look into making photography more fun than a chore. If not, photography becomes unsustaiable as a carear for small scale or startups and the whole industry dies, it's that simple.
I want to just take photos/screenshots, edit them, and have them save to device while overwriting the originals. (Keep the original as a version in lightroom if you want. But the local copy should be edited) Its wild how every time I edit a photo I need to manually redownload a copy if i ever want to use it (which considering I just took it, I probably do) Bonus feature: don't upload unless I specifically click upload. 97% of my photos are just social media posts or messages. I don't need it backed up and archived forever. Its wild how a "premium" photos app won't just work as a photos app. Sure you can say lightroom is "overkill" to replace Google photos, but there is absolutely no reason to just outright forbid users from doing it, especially when we're paying £60 a month for the suite.
When I return from the field, I am looking at folders with 3,000 images. If the images are on an external drive, particularly a slow one, it can take forever for the previews to be rendered. How about an option to save all the previews for a particular folder and/or invoke building previews for a given folder? That way I could have coffee while all the previews are rendering from the external drive and return to work the set uninterrupted.
Es wäre angebracht, endlich mal der Export mit Rahmen im Format 3:4 für Instagram möglich zu machen, das ist das neue Format auf Instagram!
When are you going to bring AI landscape mask for Lightroom iPad OS like the desktop version. Doesn't seem like a hard thing to do considering there is already "Subject" "Sky" and "Background"!!
When choosing to import from, there is no option to filter by media type. Just a select all. Often I only want to import DNG files, not JPEGs or movies. So I have to import all and then filter and delete from my library. There should be a pre-filter first.
Please make the LR camera support iPhone 17 pro native 48 Mpx resolution. current version only produce 12 Mpx images
Something I rely on heavily with my desktop workflow is the ability to copy paste curves amongst each other (Main channel, Red, Green, Blue). We're not able to do this on the mobile version and it's quite unfortunate. Also the ability to see the histogram behind each curve (like on desktop) is also missing. PLEASE add these things. Curves need more love on mobile!
Picture this: I have 3,000 pics to edit, all i need to do (mostly) is paste my custom preset, minor tweaks every few pics. The auto level isnt working as well as you want it to. im clicking left or right to next picture on keyboard, I'm Ctrl V pasting edits with keyboard, I'm pressing C for crop (to rotate) on the keyboard, I would LOVE to be able to then rotate the photo with the arrow keys or any keys on the keyboard. once I press C for crop, let me hit left or right on the keyboard to rotate the photo, each click is 1 degree rotation. I dont like that I need to grab the mouse to rotate when im stremalining edits on keyboard quickly. You can even use the bracket keys like how its used to resize. The rotate would only work then the photo is highlighted for crop so it would not effect anything negatively Thanks! P.S. Let me seach by number PLEASE! i shoot sports and would love to search by jersey number, I also shoot bodybuilding and want to search by badge number. It would b
Hello, I use synced photos that I import on my laptop, and sometimes I edit them on the iPad. Everything works great, but there is one very important option missing the ability to create a copy of a file, just like I can on the computer. As it is now, when I edit an entire gallery of 1000+ photos, I have to go back again and search for those same photos.
Does Lightroom Mobile work in landscape mode on an iPhone?
Where is the "Enter Custom..." option from the old Lightroom and how do we get it back (see attachments)? I like to make my photos 1080x1080 for Instagram and was able to do this in the LR Classic version.
I can see how keyword hierarchy as implemented in Classic would be significantly more complicated for end users. Overall I mostly agree with this philosophy. However, managing my current keyword list is getting rather unwieldy as it mixes multiple key purposes. For example, in the same list I have all the people I have tagged. I also have keywords answering basic questions like: Event/Holiday (Christmas, Thanksgiving, birthdays, Independence day...) or Why (e.g. family reunion, vacation...), tied to specific activity (dinner cruise, helicopter ride, botanical gardens...) Therefore, it would be awesome if keywords had additional attributes or facets. e.g. filter the keyword list for all keywords associated with events.
Are you planning to make this available on the "mobile version"
I would like to have the smart album ans search criteria enhanced. I have currently run into an issue where Adobe is trying to be too smart and it has back fired on me. I assign a title to all images; the title includes the year the photo was taken. I cannot depend on capture date due to the fact many older photos do not have capture date (I started switching to digital in 2001); and I will have a project soon to scan and load old analog photos; in which case the capture will truly be useless. Therefore, with smart albums or even the general filter; when I search for "2003" I get photos with a title including 2003, photos with 2003 in the file name, photos with 2003 somewhere in the meta-data.... Basically the text search is way to inclusive. Due to the limited screen real estate, I would like an advanced feature such that I can add a criteria like "title:like:2003". The idea is to have the field, operator and value separated and delimited. As more operators
In Lightroom Classic you can see the rgb values of the pixels the mouse is hovering over. The values are displayed in percent beneath the histogram. Lightroom CC doesn't offer this feature – unfortunately.
When exporting from Lightroom mobile on Android, using the 'Export as' function I can choose the file type, the file size, the jpeg quality. I can add a watermark (text or graphic, with multiple settings), add metadata, choose a custom filename (although theres no option to include the original frame number within that chosen name). I can also select output sharpening and colour space, BUT I can only export to the phone storage. Why is there no option to export to Google Drive for instance, or to email the file? There is of course the option to share an image to many platforms choosing the 'share' option, but then all the other options above are no longer available. Currently the only option if you want add to a Google Drive folder, using a custom size, filename etc, is to 'Export as' to the default phone storage and then open Google and import from there. Could a destination not be added within Export as? Or was this an option previiously that has been removed?
Lightroom Mobile for iOS should support background sync. Currently, the app only syncs when opened but stops when switching to another iOS app or the display starts to sleep. This makes the workflow less than optimised and required unnecessary user attention. Please consider implementing this functionality.
Absolutely love the new border tool...just wish I could add the borders to multiple photos in Lightroom Mobile.
Often it is difficult to tell what is the reason for a performance bottleneck. For debug purposes, Lr likely has detailed logging/capturing capability of the system. It would be awesome to add a minimal tool to show where the largest lags are. e.g. Disk, memory, CPU, GPU, network.... Tim
Beyond the name, it would be nice to be able to capture additional attributes about people. For example, I have a large extend family, a few with the same name. It would be handy to be able to differentiate between two Bob's that were born 60 years apart. I currently put the birth year in () to differentiate. Or friends with the same name, I again use () for some additional data to differentiate them. Therefore, it would be handy to be able to create groups and have people organizaed under the group, or have the ability for custom attributes for each person (a fixed number of attributes is fine, two or three would easily handle all my use cases).
There should be an option to sort albums and folders together, instead of folders always appearing first. I have lots of folders where the children are a mix of folders and albums (based on the sub-organization lower in the tree) and I would like them to be sorted together; otherwise, it looks wrong because the children aren't sorted alphabetically, or I can't use dates in the names because the dates will be out of order.
I have a number of times tried the AI based removal tool. When the person/object crosses higher contrast areas, such as in shadow cast by a building, or a the object/person partially blocks a body of water the AI based removal usually does a poor job. Often I have a second image taken within a few moments in which the person/object has moved. It would be very nice if there was a way to point the AI to retreive the image data from the second image instead of attempting to generate the removed area. Going a step further, multiple source images would be the best solution, think of the ability to take multiple shots of a semi crowded street, and have the AI remove people by using multiple shots as people have moved and being able to peice together the images.
