Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

I have a 10,000 image library currently managed by Lightroom Classic.The images are hierarchically ordered by year/month/day and cross indexed bykeywords and collections. To manage this with the current and futureversion of Lightroom, I need to be able to look at collections of the imagesby keyword or collection, and that means looking and photos that come frommultiple directories and not all of the photos in each of those directories. It's not obvious how to do that.

In the old version when making a new profile in ACR it was possible to inport a cube file - color lookup table (cube file or LUT). How do I do that in the new version 13? The menu is completely different.  

Context:I imported 100 pictures in my Lightroom CC catalog those previous days, here the way I did it:1. I imported pictures in my iPad film roll from my SD card reader (My camera is a Fuji XT2)2. I imported them in a new folder in Lightroom CC on my iPad : "2019.07.02 - Paris"Problem:Now some pictures of that folder (still using Lightroom CC both on iPad or iPhone) are confused with pictures from another CC folder "2019.02.12 - Paris" which have the same file names (automatically generated by my XT2 camera... the DSCF1008 from February is displayed instead of the DSF1008 from July) but imported last February.Back at the office I opened Lightroom Classic CC, and same problem, even worse... It has overwritten the files imported from adobe cloud in the Ligthroom CC folder on my mac with the files from February...It's a complete mess, I still have my pictures on my SD, so it's not a catastrophe but it's very worrying in the future!!!

Recently whenever I use Lightroom it will crash no matter what when clicking on the masking tool. It buffers for a second to detect the background and then instantly crashes. I have tried uninstalling both lightroom and adobe and re-installing it and re-downloading the older version and it still crashed no matter what.  The report says - <crash exception="EXCEPTION_UNKNOWN" exceptionCode="0x7422207b" instruction="0x2D32312D33323032"> Is there any way to solve this? I have gotten a new laptop brand new specs that is up to par with Adobes recommendations.

Is there away to get Lightroom on a macOS Big Sur 11 or earlier?

After Update i can't find my preset option 

Hi.Using Lightroom 7 (not classic!) on a MacBook.I have imported 75 jpg, three of them are displayed incorrectly.Here is the link to the three photos.#1 should be black and white.#2 is much too bright#3 is much too noisyAll other photos are ok.Other tools show the photos as expected. Among others I tried: Affinity Photo, DXO PhotoLab 5, Graphic Converter 11All photos were exported from C1, the error can be reproduced. A new export does not change anything.Do you have any idea where to look for the error?The three photos are attached (DSC08974 DSC09058 DSC09239), plus two photos that are displayed correctly.Thanks in advance

Hi team! I am using the latest version of lr mobile that is v8.0 . the select subject / sky used to work perfectly on my device but from november 5th whenever i try to select subject or sky the progress meter first reaches to refining results nd then it shows a " something went wrong error" . it has been happening ever since, i tried reinstalling switchon switchoff and all possible methods , im using it currently on a samsung tab s6 lite but the issue remains on my android phone redmi note 8 pro as well. please help , a lot of my workflow revolves around masking as i have no pc. please help

Olá, instalei o lightroom no meu iphone e cometi o erro de importar todas as fotos do celular para a nuvem. Com isso o meu armazenamento na nuvem esgotou. Como faço não deixar que todas as fotos sigam para nuvem? Ou, como eu retiro aquelas que já foram para que eu possa ter espaço novamente? Sem perder elas do celular tbm é claro 🙂

Good morning,I'm trying to import live from my ricoh GRiii to lighrtoom mobile (ipadOS), via a usb-c cable.LR detects the camera for me, and I see the images to import appear. After selecting the ones I want to import, the window appears: "Loading content from the device, the copy will continue once the loading is complete"...then the status bar remains frozen at 28% (which corresponds to the number of images I want to import). I'm on the most recent version of the app on Android and I can no longer find the luminance histogram. Where has it been moved to?   And to be clear, I know where the RGB histogram is, but I'm specifically looking for the luminance histogram.

I just downloaded Lightroom CC for my iPad and it gave me the option to pay $6.49 a month and get the premium features along with 100 gb of storage. What is this? Is this the same thing that Adobe is offering on their website or is it something sneaky Apple is doing? Where is the 100 go of cloud storage coming from? iCloud or Creative Cloud? Anyone have any further infonon this. Let me know. Thanks

Hello, I have a problem that images all of a sudden are low resolution. This is because it is in "smart preview" in local, and "original raw" on the cloud. The implication of this is that everytime I open an image, it takes approximately 10 seconds before it turns original raw on local as well, and the resolution improves significantly. I guess this is because it has to sync to the cloud everytime? But I never had this issue before.. Is there a way to turn of smart preview function on local? Chat support asked if i had creative cloud installed on computer, but he logged out before i could ask anythin else - will this improve the situation? I have V7 of adobe lightroom. Thanks,Andreas

I have loved this app until recently. I use the mobile version on my Samsung S23, and suddenly when I select a photo to edit, the screen will just stay black with the loading ring in the middle. It won't bring up the photo and basically stays on that screen until I close the app. It doesn't let me open any photo at all, nor gives me an option to report a bug. I love the app and want to keep using it but this is annoying lol

I bought presets a while ago but i don't own the premium version of lightroom. So at the moment i can't use my presets even tho i paid for them. would be nice if i could use them again cause i paid for them.🙃

When I am zoomed in I am unable to hold down the space bar and navigate around my image. 

I am a new Lightroom user.  After I edit my photos how do I save my edits?  I try to export my edited photos to my computer (Windows) but it saves the orginal photos and not the edited photos.  What am I doing wrong?   Please email me at:  <email address removed> if you can help me

Hi all, I'm having issues using the guided perspective correction in Lightroom, specifically on Mac.  When I go to draw the perspective guides on an image I can see the guidelines appear, but the correction doesn't get applied to the image. The preset options (Auto, Level, Vertical, Full) work as they should. The strange thing is I'm able to make the guided corrections using Lightroom on my Ipad - the lines draw on and alter the perspective in real time. The changes made on Ipad also sync back to my Mac and display correctly, but if I try to edit them on the Mac, no changes appear. Doing the reverse action (Mac to Ipad) doesn't work and the geometry section in the edit window remains blank. All other edit settings are syncing between both devices correctly regardless of which device they are made on. Hoping someone can shed some light on this! Thanks, Owen  

I took photos on a camera that was lent to me and that I didn't know.On the device, it showed me still images, several, which formed one.Once placed on the computer, my photos are videos.I would like to find the photos.If that's not possible, I have to use the software to select the image I want to keep in the video but I can't figure out how to do it.I found the instructions for ligtroom classic but not pohr ligtroom ecosystem.How to do ?

Easy to reproduce: Use the magic keyboard, open a photo album with lots of photos in it, scroll down with 2 fingers. If the scroll is a small one like a little bit up or down, Lightroom will for whatever reason open the photo under the cursor into detail view instead of scrolling.  Same happens with Apple Pencil, but not with fingers. 

1. Make an option to turn this off because everytime I go to the crop section and crop and come back to the edit tab using shortcuts I've to move the cursor, it really annoys me a lot. 2. Also when editing I press escape to view photos in gallery mode, and this bar appears, just makes it disappear after we press escape, It's really annoying to press the info bar to close this tab.
