Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

I need to free up space on my cloud based LR, i was wondering what is the best way to export originals to a local SD drive? When i've tried to do large quantities in the past, LR would just freeze out. Appreciate any help.

To maximize the life span of my critical boot drive, I have a dedicated 1 TB SSD drive (e) for storing all HD-intensive applications and data. How do I set all the Adobe apps to use only my e: drive, particularly Adobe Lightroom?Despite maybe hundreds of people asking the same or similar questions, I still can't figure this out.  Notes:I don't need the cloud storage. For some reason, Lightroom uses over 200GB of space in the Adobe Cloud. I don't know why, nor do I want this! FYI, I ran a partial scan of my NAS photo storage before stopping it when I discovered it was eating up my c: boot drive space. My entire photo library is over 1 TB (stored on my local Synology NAS), which exceeds the capacity of my e: drive. I have uploaded few hundred RAW's file to lightroom creative cloud in diffrent album, and i done all the edits on cloud. Now i want to download it as lcoal backup (original RAW +setting XMP) but i'm facing lots of problem. First Problem:I selected all the photos I want to export, after it downloaded to PC, most of the image is messed up, its image from other album on cloud. Even in the app the thumbnail of the image is the correct one but once click inside, the is the wrong image.How I solve itclear the cache in app and restart lr (redownload from server)manually delete cache in appdata folder Second problem:After all the correct images was downloaded (raw+xmp). I opened them in photoshop camera raw and check each image manually. When you post the same photo to mulitple album for organization does each copy increase the overall size of the catalog, or simply tag the original photo?

After 4 years trying to make LR CC work (yes, "CC", that's how its identified in Appdata/Local and Appdata/Roming, so, that's the name I am going with here), it's clear to me that LR CC has 2 critical flaws (they could be rectified if some attention was paid to them).     Some background.  I tried to use LR CC exclusively, partially hoping it would "solve" my growin disk managing issues.   (It actually only made them more complicated.).   I then tried backing off and keeping a secondary copy of all my photos in a synced version of LRC (eg. all files went in LR CC, I then used LRC as a means to collect the files on my computer so that I could actaully see what is going on).  This was necessary because the "local storage" option provided by LR CC is opague at best) - I needed a mechanims to manage my files directly (e.g., see what files where overly large becuase I edited them in Photoshop and kept the layers).    My next evolution w

Good day, I recently did a full backup and restore of my iphone using itunes. After the restore most of my photos were missing from my Lightroom Mobile albums. The total restore size of the App is 49Gb which means it did backup the App data. My Cloud sync was paused as cloud storage was full. My question is why is only a small amount of the photos showing in the app and not everything? How can I try and recover those photos? I have tried restoring a number of times, but the files are still not showing up in Lightroom.

After the new update this app is not working at all. I tried to uninstall then install this app 2 to 3 times but still it's not working!!!!?????? I am a Android user.

I am trying to use Lightroom (instead Lightroom Classic) and I am very confused how this cloud service works. First I tried to use Creative Cloud app for Windows 10 to upload files into the cloud. I entered "files" then "your files" and there is "no documents in the cloud" (I use Polish version, not sure about translations). So I tried to use plus icon to send some RAWs. But the result is that file type is not supported. Then I found in the menu that there is sync folder C:\Users\Jacek\Creative Cloud Files, so I just copied my RAWs there. Then I clicked on the cloud icon and saw that files are syncing. 3.6GB is synced. But I can't see them anywhere! Not on my phone Lightroom and not on PC Lightroom. So instead I used Lightroom, I clicked "add photos" and imported my 3.6GB files. Now files are visible both in Lightroom PC and on my phone Lightroom. Still Creative Cloud app says no documents. But, there is another problem. Now cloud uses 7.1GB storage, so files are uploade

Lightroom for Desktop (Mac) issues Still having a problem with the sd card "auto eject" after import. When importing from an sd card it used to auto eject after, I noticed this the last couple of updates and it's still not fixed (contacting online support about it a couple months ago)   A couple different slider issues: 1. Sometimes sliders are not available when hovering over and unable to use the keyboard arrows with the sliders. 2. If sliders are working, and you hover over one, it will default the entire image preview to the imported settings/preview. The settings don't actually go back to import, they just preview the image back to import. (trying to explain this the best way I can) it's very weird.   Lightroom for iPad issues: 1. When cropping, the crop sticks/pauses when moving the grid or cropping in. Can be very annoying when trying to get a precise crop, it stops in its tracks until you grab it again. 2. Observed on: Mac OS Monterey 12.7.2, Lightroom 7.1.2Im having an issue where I cannot open lightroom due to two error popups.  The first is unable to move some photos, with an unknown fatal database error. Then followed by a local catalog error. I appreciate that this is an error that has been documented a number of times, but I seem to have tried all of the suggested solutions with no joy. So far I have tried:Renaming/moving/deleting the local catalog fileRestarting the machine and appReinstalling the appUsing disk utility to look for errors on the diskClearing cache within the cloud storage interface Any other suggestions before I reinstall the whole OS?

Hello all,I'm a new user of Lightroom on iPad Pro (I use it on my desktop computer from years) and since I started using the mobile version on the iPad anything is constantly annoying me :Why images in collections, albums (even when stored locally) always first appears blurry like if it was a quite low res preview?I need to zoom in the picture and then dezoom to see it in the good and sharp quality. It is not a problem of size of the picture or heavyness of the file has I've tested with pictures sized in the native resolution of the iPad (2732px in the largest dimension). Even when the picture is correctly displayed (after I zoom and dezoom), if I swip to another and then get back to this previous picture, it is again displayed in the poor blurry version... it is really annoying.This appens every time, even with pictures stored locally in the iPad, so it is not a sync problem. By selecting multiple photos edited in Lightroom the "edit in Photoshop" choice becomes gray and there is no possibility of opening the images as layers between the two software.I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the two software.

Hi! If I delete my edited pictures and albums from Lightroom classic on my MacBook, will they also be deleted on my Lightroom app on my iPhone? Thank you! 

Why do I have to have sync enabled to create a share link? I don't want to sync all my content on my mobile data plan just to create a sharable link.

Lightroom has been unusable for a few weeks, as it flips to a dark version of a photo when trying to edit. Everything is fine when you look at the gallery, but once you select a photo for editing it shows a negative/dark version only (see second photo)   

Since a couple of months Lightroom doesnt show my pictures the way it should. Normally the picture is blurred for a few seconds untill it is completed loaded. But now the pictures stay blurred, that way i cannot judge them properly.  This is on my windows laptop. Fully updated etc

Ever since the last update to Lightroom I no longer see auto align or rotate at the bottom of the list on the right. Where do I go to find that?

I recently upgraded from my ASUS VivoBook, F512DA, to a small Mini PC with the expectation of improving the graphic stability of Lightroom Classic. I have noticed that Lightroom has been unstable for about eight months, and to make it run reliably, I had to disable GPU acceleration in Lightroom. My assumption was that the architecture of the onboard AMD Vega 8 integrated GPU of my laptop was too outdated to work.Recently, I have purchased a brand-new Beelink SER 6 Max with the AMD Ryzen 7 7735HS processor, which has an onboard 4MB AMD Radeon 680M Graphics, 12 Core GPU. However, I have noticed the same exact issues with my new computer that I had with my laptop. Everything is stable as long as I have GPU acceleration turned off.I am wondering if Adobe has stopped supporting these types of onboard graphic cards or if the issue is related to the AMD drivers.

Hello. I can not move my watermark to any corners. I have tried to move it around and it only goes so far. How do I fix that? I do have photos to show where it stops and where I have the settings. I've moved those around and it still doesn't go all the way down in the corner.
