Hi,is it possible to migrate all AMS components and my asc scripts from AMS to node.js?if yes, thanks to provide any link/tutorial/manual.

We have a 24/7 stream that plays. Periodically which is usually after about a week the stream will get stuck and it will just repeat the last 30 seconds of so of video. The only way to fix it is to stop the encoder and clear the files out of livepkgr folder and start the encoder again.Any insight on what is happening here?BTW i DO NOT have the DVR function turned on.

Hello everybody,in 2008 I created an online card game: a flash client and a flash media server.In 2010, I bought a rtmp library for objective c (from the midnight coders) and developped the ipad clientin 2012, I bought a new version of fms (5)This was just to highlight that I already invested a lot of time and money in ams.So now, as Flash is rarer and rarer in the browsers, I would like to rebuild a game client in javascript: but it seems that no javascript library are existing yet (I would be ready to buy one..), so what are my options ?I am not using any streaming functionality but my game is using a rtmp connection and shared objects..Should I look into building a gateway, on the server, node.js-socket.io discussing with ams, for instance (it that is possible..), and my javascript would do a standard socket connection to the socket.io ?I need guidance to understand where I should be invested my (little spare) time Thanks!Cyril

We are using Adobe Media Server Pro 5 in conjunction with our Epic medical records system. There is an issue with the quality of the voice on these connections and it happens on every call. We have tested the system using Google meet and sound quality for this is good. What can I do to troubleshoot this issue in Media Server?I sent this same question to tcssup@adobe.com on 12/13/2018 and have not gotten any replies.

Hello, I have two questions. I'm using Net Stream to play some videos on my Flash Game. These videos will be located on a local folder in the same path as the main .exe file (the projector). All files are .mp4 (h.264 / converted with JW Player), is this the best extension or does Flash 'works better' with another video extension? In my computer, works perfectly, but I'm concerned about other computers, I heard about Flash prefers to play .flv files, but I'm not sure...The second question is: Whoever will play my game, needs to install mp4 codecs to see these videos or Net Stream is independent and can play the video without codecs?

I am interested in using some 3rd party AMS to stream slide video in Captivate 2019.  Who are the major providors?  Where can I find some good tutorials on picking a service, uploading my videos to it, and then writing the URL or path in the insert video dialog in Captivate?  How much would such a service cost me each time the video was streamed, if, for example, the video was 100 megabytes in size?

Specifically my question relates to Adobe’s Plan for removing the flash plugin and replacing with WebRTC client. Will Adobe AIR and Adobe Media Server be updated to natively support WebRTC?

We purchased fms 2 in 2006.  We've updated servers over the years and have had no problems. Today we're migrating again and can't find the file instalFMS.  And ideas where we could locate the source package.  The server running fms is still live so it must be on there somewhere? Any ideas?

I don't know if flash media server has a PHP sdk? Want to confirm that PHP can interact with flash media server? Thank you!

connecting our stream via RTMP:// to a VLC Player - the time between end of song and start (streaming audio mp3s only) is too long, sometimes the starts get cut off - anyone have ides how to fix this issue? thankswe have AMS 5.03

We are looking for an HTML5 based video player that supports HTTP streaming via AMS so that we can use our existing implementations.  Anyone else do this, or have experience with this?  Thanks in advance.

Running AMS 5.1, Audio MP3's only No VideoMP3 START/STOP CUT OFF with a playlist of MP3s of different lengths (time), it is currently starting each one, playing it, then stopping and starting the next one and creating "what seems" is a new stream each time to the players, if this is so, can it be adjusted to make it one continuous stream? TWO STREAMS TO ONEcurrently have two streams that go to the player, one is mp3s playing, the other is microphone - this works great for a flash player, but no good when trying to use for other devices as they only can take one stream - how can these be combined?

For many years my company has been using FMS 4.5.  It does what we need and we've seen no reason make any changes.  That being said, we now would like to upgrade the hardware that is running the server and we need to install FMS 4.5 onto a new machine.  I found a page to download older versions of Adobe Media Server, but that page does not have any information about versions prior to AMS 5.  Please see the link below.Patches, release notes, and updates for all AMS releases Is it possible to download an installer for FMS 4.5 from the Adobe site?  Or do I need to look elsewhere?Thanks.

We are using Adobe Media Server Professional 5.0.15 r5004We had a core crash when hosting a meeting with 1 published RTMP stream and 350 or so subscribers. Our core.00.log file shows the errors for “assert failed” that seem to be the cause for the core crash, but we’re unable to track down why. (log below)We’ve also simulated other meetings with the same number of connections and even more (up to 1500) and have not experienced the crash. I have a custom application for Adobe Media Server. I am trying to set up the Application.xml file and the config isn't loading properly. This is not working:<ScriptEngine> <config> <createTransferFile>true</createTransferFile> <maxDVRRollingWindow>-1</maxDVRRollingWindow> </config> </ScriptEngine>This really old config which is supposed to be deprecated seems to work:<JSEngine> <ApplicationObject> <config> <createTransferFile>true</createTransferFile> <maxDVRRollingWindow>-1</maxDVRRollingWindow> </config> </ApplicationObject> </JSEngine>Any suggestions on what is happening? I am also trying to configure FileObject, and it isn't working. I think it may be related to this really strange behavior with the config files.

I was wondering if anyone else has had issues with using live encoder 3.2 on the new MAC mojave ios, it worked fine till i upgraded the ios, i use a blackmagic interface and double checked the settings, the video stream works fine but the audio is not coming through, any help would be appreciated, thanks.

In the server-side actionscript, when creating the netstream with groupspec, like:ns = new NetStream(streamContext.netConnection, streamContext.groupspec);  It seems like the netConnection need to be set with rtmfp protocol, since I got the following when I connect via rtmp.Multicast NetConnection Status: NetConnection.Connect.Success, Source stream: livestreamMULTICAST PUBLISH ERROR: Failed to construct multicast NetStream. Error: Error Failed to execute method (NetConnection protocol must be rtmfp if groupspec parameter is present). Reported Error : ., Source stream: livestream   Is there a way that we can connect to a pure rtmp source at the upstream and do rtmfp multicast at the downstream only? Thanks,Peter

Adobe media server 5.0 is running IIS and inbuild Apache. When I applied SSL cert to apache, the https request always gets redirected to http.The website using https protocol and I am not able to frame video player (running on Apache). Chrome and Firefox will not display it, IE does though.City of Cupertino video player thanks so muchShivani

Hi,I am using Adobe Media server 5.0.6 standard edition to stream videos in our portal. With login students can access the streaming videos. Through the portal they cannot download the video. But using some tools they are downloading the videos by directly hitting the Media server path. [http://yyyy.edu:8134/vod/new/chapter1.mp4] How can I prevent the download. My server Windows 2012 R2 Portal running on IIS 8.0Please help me.
