Mixamo

I am an After effects template author. I have created a template with Mixamo mmodel and animations, and then bring that to c4d. There I light and texture that and render a Video out of it. And I have importing that video in my After effects to create a tenplate. Can I sell the Template? Is it under license covarage?

The choice of animation is one big mess. How can basic sorting options be missing, e.g. by name?

I saw the 8-Way rifle pack. Is there something similar planned for pistols, or no weapons?

hi, Im new to modelling things and Im trying to get an FBX file to upload in order to begin picking animations. The problem I have is my model is fine in any other app but once Ive postioned all the rigging options and my model is processed the mouth goes really weird, it looks fine in blender and other programs but aas soon as its time to put an animation on the model its mouth looks really strange, any ideas? Thanks

hi, I can upload a character just fine, but cannot pull, move, or affect the rigging markers to get them onto my model.  I'm using a Wacom studio pro with the pen.  do I need to find a mouse to do this function?

Hello,I'm trying to upload a 3D character to mixamo.com that I've downloaded from Microsoft Paint 3D.I'm receiving the following errors:Error occurred on rig: unknown error while generating motionOops! Please place all markers on the character!Attached is a pdf showing the complete steps.Thx.

Hi! Newbie here, I notice that for most animations there is the adjusting arm space options before downloading the files, however these are not present when selecting locomotion packs that includes multiple files, what is the best way to adjust arm space for the files in the locomotion packs? Thank in advance!

Hi! I just finished setting up the mixamo auto control rig script (v 1.6.0) into maya. I followed the steps and I am now trying to rig my character but the IK and FK won't attach.    When I move the controllers nothing moves with them. Any help is greatly appreciated Thank you

Mixamo site is unusable for downloading animations, it freezes instantly, is there a simplified version for laptops maybe without automatic character animations?I don't know what is the issue, I've downloaded animations a year before and it all went smoothly...Did my laptop just became too slow for new versions?

Hi, I have an issue when auto-rigging my character, everything seems to be right, but this message is what I get:Oops! Please place all markers on the character! Someone can help me?

Hey Folks, Just need want to kindly some assistance in regards to Cinema 4D.  I had just finished a segment of my animation in Cinema 4D and wanted to carry on over my progress onto one of the main projects I was working on.  I had used a pre-made Cinema 4D model called "Marzbar Set Up" just to accompany my story in which I intended to use it as a setting for my character to interact with (this is the main project I'm referring to). This will be enclosed down below. In terms of my character going to interact with my main project - I made a side project that contained my animation which I had intended to later add into my main project. A video of this can be located enclosed in this post below. Therefore, if anyone could please send me some good tutorials, threads, forums or provide me some steps on how I can copy content from my side project into my main project - that would be an absolute great help! ~ Thanks P.S:  Marzbar's Gaming Set

Hey Folks, Just wanted to kindly ask for some assistance in regards to Cinema 4D. I just finished an opening sequence of my animation after following a YouTube tutorial displaying how to smoothly animate characters from an animation to another (link to YouTube Video will be enclosed down below). I had just finished my finalised product (which will be enclosed down below) for part of my animation and noticed that there were a lot of motion capture ghosts there. I went to search for a way to toggle them on and off for certain aspects of my characters animations just so in reality there can be less clutter when I'm working - given that my charcter is basically going to be in a room for most of the animation.  Therefore, if anyone could please send me some good tutorials, threads, forums or provide me some steps on how I can toggle on and off motion capture ghosts - that would be an absolute great help! ~ Thanks P.S:  Video Title C4D Tutorial -

Hey Folks, Just need want to kindly some assistance in regards to Cinema 4D. I was just working on providing some anaimations for a charcter of mine which I had downloaded from Mixamo. The character in which I downloaded it from was called "Bryce". Afterwards I was searching through any available animations and found a suitable one called "Basic Locomotive Pack". I specifically wanted to use the animation labelled as "Right Strafe Walk". I opened up Cinema 4D and inserted it into a new project and found out what I actually got was just a skeleton without my charcter attached to it. I have a video enclosed down below displaying my issue.  Therefore, I just wanted to ask if there is a way to essentially just convert that skeleton to my character without needing to rig absolutely everything for evry single frame (as I found from other YouTube tutorials so far). I don't know if this is the correct word to use (so please correct me if I'm wrong) is there a to bind t

Hello! I've been trying to download  a pack of animations with my own character, but only the rig is there. Is there a way to download it with my own skin, or should I use the T-Pose option to link it to my model later?

Hi! I run a Blender YouTube channel (southernshotty) and was excited to do a tutorial on the new mixamo add on, but it's not currently working for me.  I'm getting a recall error when generating the rig and it breaks the rig. Removing part of the arms. I've tried it on two computers and three versions of blender.

So , recently i am trying to make a FPS game and when i used a falling animation for my swat character it was bugging i added all the running, idle, crouch, walking animation and nothing happend like this but when i downloaded another animation from Mixamo which was not included with the swat character it start bugging .TY

I want to use mixamo animations (and possibly the default base characters) to generate 2D animations from various angles. I would then like to distribute these animations as framestrips or gifs, possibly for free but also maybe sold as assets on itch.io. example: Does the mixamo licence allow this kind of use? The actual 3d model and animations would not be distributed with this asset, only 2d images that were generated using it. I could not find a proper licence for mixamo animations, so if anyone can answer it that would be great.

I have a character that will have a lower-body exoskeleton attached to it with a separate rig. I've had some success putting this double-rig into mixamo as long as the two rigs are connected by a bone from the hips to the top of the exoskeleton. I would like to know if Mixamo can read rotation constraints/parent constraints when an already rigged character gets imported.

I'm playing around with Godot and I want to have a 3D character with multiple animations so I can learn how the whole playing and blending of animations work. Since I am no 3D artist, nor animator, some googling led me to Mixamo where I got some characters and some animations to work with. I've been following the process described in this YouTube video for "fixing" the Mixamo files and combining multiple animations into one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Hk9ljcS1Ro.Doing this manually in Blender sort of works, but is error prone and time consuming, so I found this script https://github.com/Johngoss725/Mixamo-To-Godot/blob/main/Mixamo_RM_Godot.py which I further modified and adapted to my needs. Now I can basically run this script and have it combine 150 different animations without skins and a single charachter with skin in a minute or two. Great success! Except it only works with the XBot or YBot charachters, all other charachters I've tried this with results in a we

For example, after downloading my Mixamo Character using the baseball swing animation, can I add a 'bat" object in another 3d program for the character to 'swing'? ty

Is it possible to upload and redistribute the motion downloaded from Mixamo converted to .vmd format?

So a bit baffled here. Trying to import a character into Mixamo. A plain/no texture OBJ works fine - but the zipped version with MTL won't import at all. And the FBX version breaks appart the model on import (e.g. head is detacted from next).  This page isn't presently unable to upload OBJ and FBX files either 🙂  Quite frustrating . . . any help/leads greatly appreciated!!!

So I recently created an account for Mixamo and I need help. The rigs I downloaded acting really jenky when it comes to creating control rigs. A specific problem that I found are the IK for the rigs. The IK for the legs are in reverse. Can someone help how to fix this??? These also might be a bit of help:The way I open them is I delete the cube, open fbx, go to the downloaded rigs, select the rig, check the "force connect children", import, open the mixamo tab, select the armature, press the "create control rig", uncheck animation (I only need the rig), click ok, and the legs IK becomes reversed. So is there anything in my process that is wrong, or is there a solution to this problem that doesn't involve the process of opening it??

I downloaded the character and put it on my webpage without any problems with threejs, and then I downloaded an animation and attached it to the character. But when I changed the animation, it made the character fly in the sky and stay in the sky like a balloon. (Standing Clap.fbx). I noticed that some animations work in some characters and do not work in others. Please help me how to fix this problem.
