I am experiencing the same issue. To test the problem, I created a new project, then a new comp with a single path, then used "create nulls form path / trace path" and shift+picwhiped a rectange shape layer to the null but the rectangle gets placed far from the null.

Thanks. For anyone else who sees this post: To reset the form, I openened the Prepare Form tool and then looked under the More tools drop down menu and chose "Clear Form"

I have an interactive form with radio buttons. I don't want any of the radio buttons selected by default (and none of them are in the properties panel), but the saved form is always displaying one of the radio buttons as checked by default. How can I turn that off?

I am having the same problem. Has anyone else seen this or have a solution? Here is a summary of the problem I get: The user opens the pdf in Adobe Reader (either on their iPad or laptop) and selects one of the choices from the drop down menu and occasionally the drop down menu reverts back to no choice selected either when they save the file or even moving to another field. Sooo frustrating!! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Paul

I have two raw images that I opened in camera raw, but each one offers me slightly different tools in the basic exposure section. I am more familiar with the tools found in the first image and would prefer to use them. Does anyone know why the tools are different and how to change them to my preferred version?

Yeah, I was hoping I could drag over the little dots on the side and select layer content as I dragged like you can with locking layers, but I guess not. Locking the other layers sounds like the way to go. Thanks for the help.

I'd like to be able to select multiple layers in my layers panel by dragging the mouse over the layers instead of having to shift+click in each layer. Is there anyway to do this? Thanks, Paul

When I am not in outline mode and I hold control + shift I can zoom in and out by dragging the mouse. However, when I switch to outline mode (control + y), the zoom changes to the old version where a bounding box is created when I drag the mouse and upon releasing the mouse button, it zooms to the bounding box borders. Is there anything I can do in settings to retain the drag/zoom feature from preview mode inside the outline mode? Thanks, Paul

I have a photograph in the background of the page. Over the top of the photo I would like to place text inside a box that has white fill color set to 80% opacity. I normally create a separate object for the box, set its fill to white and adjust its opacity, then place my text on top of the box and adjust the box size to fit the text correctly. Using two separate objects takes more time. Instead, I'd like to use the text box by itself if possible. I was hoping to set the fill color of the text box to white and change its opacity to 80%, but the text opacity also changes. Is there anyway to keep the text opacity 100% while adjusting the fill opacity? I'm assuming there is no way to affect one without affecting the other? Thanks, Paul

I recently purchased a 4K monitor and have noticed that the InDesign toolbar text is very small due to the extreme resolution of the monitor. For example, if I select a text frame and want to use the X,Y, height, width fields in the toolbar to make adjustments, the text in those fields is so small it's difficult to read. Does anyone know of a way to adjust the toolbar font sizes? I hate the idea of using the monitor at a lower resolution. Thanks, Paul

I imported an Illustrator file into my After Effects project and scaled the ai file to 200%, but noticed that is pixelated. Is there a way to keep the ai file vector based inside After Effects. Note: I attempted to use the "Create Shapes from Vector Layer" and the paths all show up, but the fill and stroke colors disappear?? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Hi, I am attempting to use the extract pages script in InDesign CS6. I ran the "Make it run" script to update the extract pages script and then attempt to run the new script on the 64 page document. I am gettign the following error message: "Error: no file is associated with the currently active script." Does anyone have a suggestion? Thanks, Paul

I have an index page, which I created in Illustrator that I am attempting to export to photoshop. The problem is that when I open the Photoshop file, it has all been flattened into a single layer. I made sure "flat image" is not selected in the export options. Furthermore, I always get a pop up message that says "Some containers in the AI document have been flattened," every time I export. The document is a single artboard with 9 layers (each layer representing a different element on the index page).
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
