generative fill ignores prompts completely. and many times it will repeat the same variant endlessly without any alteration. completely useless.
- Photoshop Beta 27.0 on Windows (updated today ;-)) I have 'Select Subject' - 'Upper Clothes' as a step (2nd step) in an Action.. Select People Without Select All People People: 1 Tags: "Upper clothes" Happens whether i run the full action or I step through. Also tried 'With Select All People' but only 1 person in any of my images. The only way to get out is to hit esc a bunch of times, otherwise, it just sits there spinning...... It worked fine until 27.0, and still works in 26.11...
I keep getting this issue where I open a photo from Lightroom Classic into Photoshop Beta, and my left panel icons (like layers) won't open. So I have to switch to a different workspace, then back to get it to work again.
after duplicate a layer, its not possible to replace an adjusment like in the normal photoshop. I tried several times.
for example, in the layers panel, if i select normal, i can no longer use the arrow keys to highlight down the list normal>disolve>multiply>etc. meaning, i can no longer see the effects before choosing a selection. also, now i have to go into a dropdown multiple times just to see different effects. very time wasting. not intuative and very counterproductive. the ability to use keyboard navigation has diminished greatly. clicking on things with the mouse is clunky and inprecise. this issue is in any dropdown including looking thru fonts in the type panel. this bug is also present in all release or beta versions of photoshop, illustrator and indesign.
another one problem; i attached a image that is a issue of new updated photoshop beta google nano banana 2.5 error [typo corrected in subject — was "Administer"]
I keep two external hard drives connected to my computer at all times. I've never used them as scratch disks and have never set them as such in Photoshop's settings. Ever since updating to Photoshop Beta 27.1.0, when I keep Photoshop open while doing other things, then come back to it after 10 minutes or so, Photoshop freezes for about 10 seconds and I can hear my external drives spinning up. It seems that Photoshop is checking them for something before it lets me do anything and it's very annoying.
Image - Analsys - Place Scale marker brings up a box asking for a length. No matter what I enter, it returns a warning that says "A value between 0 and nan is required. closest value is inserted." When I hit "OK" it just reappears. The only way to get out of it is to force quit Photoshop.
Nano Banana suddenly removed from Contextual expansion, while my colleagues is still operating. Last Beta build.
When I try to use the remove tool, it throws up the following error after 2 minutes. And it doesn't perform the assigned task; it doesn't remove what I'm asking it to.When I work with the tool, it throws up an error saying: "Generative AI enabled."When "Generative AI is disabled," it works fine. I’m using Windows, and each time I try to open Photoshop Beta 26.10, the loading screen appears for about five seconds before the application closes automatically. There’s no error message — it just shuts down unexpectedly. Please help
I tried to install version 27.1.After that, Creative Cloud gave me a download error. Then I tried to open Photoshop Beta itself, and it immediately crashed during startup.I reinstalled Photoshop Beta, and the crashes during startup disappeared. But now I can't even upload a photo to the workspace. The program just freezes and displays an error window. What should I do to fix this?UPDATE: I saw that the version of Photoshop I have installed is now 27.1. But Creative Cloud still says that a new update 27.1 is available.
image processing (select subject and remove background) on photoshop beta 27.2 (and 27.1) is processing on device when I've selected process in the cloud and already restarted photoshop.
Bonjour, quand on agrandit une photo et que l'on se sert de l'outil "supprimer", la photo n'arrête pas de s'agrandir ou de se rétrécir sans cesse.Merci de votre attention.
PS Beta 27.1 Mac Os 26.0.1When I turn on the rulers, processor useage goes way up and then the app freezes with the spinning rainbow cursor.
When I try to type accented letter "č" into image generation prompt field in Adobe Photoshop 27.0.1 beta, image generation starts immediately.
The Window Menu > Application Frame selection is checked but greyed out.
Hello,I’ve been testing the new Nano Banana (Gemini 2.5 Flash Image) and Flux models in Photoshop Beta, but unfortunately, they aren’t working for me. Every time I try to generate with them, Photoshop gives the error “We have encountered an issue and cannot complete your request at this time. Please try again.” Other models seem to work fine, but the two new ones consistently fail. I’m on a MacBook Air M2 running macOS 26 (latest public release), and using the latest Photoshop Beta build. I’ve attached screenshots showing the issue. 1. Version & environment Photoshop Beta version: 27.0.0 (latest beta release) Machine: MacBook Air M2 macOS version: macOS 26.0 (latest public release) 2. Steps to reproduce Open Photoshop Beta Import or open an image Make a selection (e.g. using the selection brush) Invoke Generative Fill Choose the model “Nano Banana / Gemini 2.5 Flash Image” or “Flux” Enter prompt (e.g. “replace blue stripes with red stripes”) Cli
I am unable to use the Parametric Filters in PS Beta. I have taken a video of me attempting to apply the filter and a copy of the system info for review. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/19JB-wAJaGm9FXYG5a_HoxduwG4ms3h2t?usp=drive_linkIt could absolutely be user error, but for troubleshooting, I have converted the workspace to 8 bit as another forum as suggested, updated by PS Beta to the most recent update, and updated my camera raw as suggested by another poster in the forum. I have trried adjusting the artboard size converting to a smart object, rasterizing, etc. I am operating on the most recent beta version as of today: V.27.1
I select a layer and click on one of the Parametric filters. Regardless of whether the layer is a Smart layer or not, it creates a new layer and applies the filter. The problem is that the layer it creates is empty. If I drag the smart Filter to a new layer, everything on that layer disappears, but the information on the layer that previosly had the filter applied reappears. I have included screen captures of the filter applied to the top layer showing no content, and then another after I dragged the filter to the lower layer. You can see the content disapears on whichever layer the filter is applied. I just noticed that if I turn the filter off - desect the "eye" next to it - the objects in the layer re-appearVersion: 27.1.0 BetaWindows 11 Enterprise 10.0.26200 Build 26200I have attached the Photoshop file
I made a file in Illustrator, a file that has many paths. In Illustrator, these paths overlap and do not leave any gaps. When importing it to PS, I see gaps that are maybe 1 or 2 px wide, that I then have to fix manually. The import should not have these gaps. I checked, and I am seeing the PS file at 100% magnification.Interestingly, if I add a background to the PS file of any color, the gaps disappear. But when I export it to PNG, without the background, the gaps persist.(Note: I am trying to attach the Illustrator file, but I get an error saying: "The attachment does not match its file extension and it has been removed")
Photoshop beta 26.9 seems to be missing the "Search / Filter by name" field on the home screen and files tab. Any word on when we might see this added back? It was really nice to be able to search for my cloud PS files by name in the home screen UI, now I have to scroll through them all with no option to search by name.
## 🐞 Bug Report: AI Selection Brush creates holes when painting over existing strokes **Version:** Photoshop 27 (Beta)**System:** macOS Taohe 26.0.1 (25A362)**Hardware:** Mac Mini M2 Pro**GPU:** Metal enabled**Feature affected:** AI Selection Brush (Generative Fill workflow) --- ### 🧩 DescriptionWhen using the new **AI Selection Brush** to define an area for *Generative Fill*, painting over an already painted zone unexpectedly removes parts of the selection, creating semi-transparent “holes” instead of filling them solidly. This issue does **not** occur in older stable versions of Photoshop (26.x and earlier). It appears only in the current Beta build on macOS Taohe. --- ### 🔁 Steps to Reproduce1. Open any image.2. Choose the **AI Selection Brush** for Generative Fill.3. Paint an area (green overlay appears).4. Release the mouse, then paint again over the same region.5. Observe: instead of adding to the mask, the overlapping stroke *subtracts* or *creates transparency*
