Photoshop Elements

I have newly installed Photoshop Elements 2021 on my PC. I also store my photos on the NAS (Network Access Storage).   Now I have the problem that the drive monitoring no longer works automatically. When I save new pictures on the NAS drive, Photoshop Elements 2021 no longer recognises them.   I had the same problem with Photoshop Elements 2013. Here I could solve it by starting the service "Adobe Active File Monitor V13" under my local Windows account.   I can't find such a service for Photoshop Elements 2021, I only see this service for Photoshop Elements 2013 (which is still installed).   Can anyone tell me how to get the new photos (which I store on the NAS) to be automatically recognised by Adobe Phothoshop Elements?   Thanks a lotGreetings René  

Can someone tell me how I can take an existing photo that has been edited and place it into another photo that has not been edited, using PS Elements 2021? I have attached a copy of the edited file for your review This is a pdf file, but I also have it stoed as a jpeg file. Thank you.

I purchased the 2021 version in March, 2021.  Do I have to purchase the new 2022 version, or does it simply upgrade the 2021 app?  IF I need to puchase the new version do I also need to delete the old version?

On the website I find several solutions but I am not an ICT-er, so I don't understand any of these options.Can sombody explain to me in simple language what to do?Is there no forum in Dutch? Only Englisch?Help.

At first I thought I saw provisions for outlineing the various fonts.  Now I can no longer find them.  I must be doing something wrong.  Can some one assist.  Thanks!

Hello, Not sure if you can help me. I purchased Photoshop Element 14 in Nov, 2015 for my PC laptop ASUS X550C (Intel Core i5, x64bit using Window 10 Home) BUT would prefer to use it on my iMac iMac Retina 5K, 27 inch instead. PSE 14 was a Multiplatform version when I bought it but I can’t find the original box.I have downloaded PTE 20 and PTE 21 unto my iMac but it doesn’t recognise my Serial Number from my PC version. I am happy to use Version 14 if that works as that is what I payed for when I bought it from Costco. Obviously, I don't want a subscription or to pay for a new “Mac” version as the one I have is meant to be Multiplatform. Is there any way round this as Abode have been awful to deal with? I too bought Photoshop elements and now can not download on my new computer. I feel Adobe is not honouring my previous purchase.  

I just upgraded from PS Elements 15 to Elements 2021 (and Premier as well).  The upgrade went smooth.  But the first time I went into the Organizer, my system became swamped with high disk and CPU usage. My wireless mouse and keyboard became useless.  My system clock froze. I couldn't do CTRL+ALT+DEL or shut down the computer with the power button.  Total takeover of my system that I didn't know Windows 10 Pro would allow. In 30 years of using PC's I have never seen an application totally take over a computer like this. I could just hear the disk drives hammering away for up to an hour before the computer would finally shut down. But the next time I opened the Organizer, the problem started again.  When I looked in Task Manager I saw the organizer had racked up huge numbers in page faults (in the millions if I recall), despite the 16GB of RAM I have (which the product specs call for by the way). I have about 32,000 photos and videos on my system.

I am using Photoshop Elements 15.  When I press the quotation marks key (") I get a double arrow (>> one character) on my display. I have checked the region setting and it is United States.  The quotation marks key produces the correct symbol in all other programs.  How do I resolve this issue?

I had to move my entire Windows Pictures folder with thousands of photos underneath my OneDrive folder to enable backup/sync to OneDrive.  Now all of my photos in Elements Organizer are disconnected and I'm trying to find a way to reconnect enmasse without having to go through one folder at a time.  Any thoughts? Thank you! Kevin

Hello,   I have a genuine Photoshop Elements 7, purchased in 2009....which I've been using eversince. The serial number starts with 1507.....20 digits only. When I was trying to install it on my new computer.... It's asking for a 24 digit serial number. I don't have the CD with me...... I'm not a tech guy at all. Could you please help me install this software on my new computer if possible. Thank you.

Lightroom (Cloudy) does not support Elements as an external editor. Since I retired I don't use Photoshop enough to justify the extra £10/month, and what I use it for is easily done in Elements.I would think the user population of Lightroom (Cloudy) would have a significant proportion of people like me, who would find Elements sufficient. Please make Elements available as an external editor from Lightroom (Cloudy). Thank you

Hi, maybe someone can make some suggestions on how to enhance old reddish photos if at all possible? These photos are about 40 years old and they were in a photo album for all these years? I have scanned them all in high res but now i want to enhance them to be more like todays bright photos? Any suggestions? Thanks Deon

Hello.  I recently started having issues with my legitimately purchased copy of PS Elements 2020 from the Adobe Store via Amazon.  Through my research, it was suggested that I update my computer and then uninstall the software.  This should have deactivated the program.  Upon trying to reinstall, I keep getting an error message that my serial # is invalid.  This should not be the case.  To my knowledge, it is only loaded on my one laptop and I have not shared it with anyone else.  It is appropriately registered and so on. This was a gift that cost close to $100.  I dont use it often, just to edit personal photos and artwork.  The Representative on  Adobe Chat suggested I post here for help soving the issue.  I'd really like to get this up and running asap to finish a bday gift.  Any thoughts or suggestions would be incredibly helpful.  Thanks in advance!

I am currently using Photoshop Elements 14 on a Windows 10 system but am not against upgrading if that would help. I have thousands of photo files stored across multiple discs. Some external and some are system discs. This disorginization has come from multiple system crashes over the years and emergency measures to copy files before loosing them. I would like to "import" all of these pictures into a new catalog AND copy them on import to a new external disc. Is this possible with Elements? or do I need to find some third party utility to accomplish this task?  -Andy

Access to Editor blocked by 'Edit In Progress' notice on recent file. How to clear it??

I'm not trying to do anything fancy. Let's say I have an image of a meadow and I open a new layer with a bear. So I want to move the bear around. I choose the Move tool, make sure I have the bear layer active and position the cursor over the bear, left click and drag the bear around, right? Sometimes that seems to work; sometimes not. Sometimes I have to hit ctrl-a while I'm in the bear layer and then the move will work the first time, but then when I try it again, the entire canvas moves (instead of just the bear). I am a total noob so I'm sure I must be doing something wrong. And I kept the above description simple for the sake of trying to keep things simple but in reality I often have several layers open.I've read the "move and copy selections" from Adobe several times but still can't quite get the hang of it.

I have licence for Photoshop Elements 15, how do I download it again after reinstalling Windows 10?I have been all over the Adobe website and cannot find how to do this, I just get multiple invitations to download PSE 2021, which I do not want.Why, oh why, is this so difficult?

I have a Mac Mini M1, and while I love to use Photoshop Elements for organization, it obviously doesn't work well -- it is so slow as to be unuseable. My question is, is there a "beta" program that I can try out to test M1 versions, or, barring that, what is the timeline to remediate this?  Will Photoshop 2022 be M1-friendly?  If so, when does that come out? I've used Photoshop Elements for many, many years... sad that it's become unuseable to me.
