Photoshop Elements

The 2021 vesion has o be the worst I have ever seen.  When attempting to edit a photo it takes the edit sceen 2 min 30 sec to come up then it does not load.  Terrible

Hi all - having problem loading pictures from my Nikon D700 into Elements 10. Running Windows 10 on a desktop.  Battery capacity of the camera is fine.Organizer sees all the pictures on the camera's card.  The pictures I want to import are then selected and Get Media clicked, and at that point I get the following message." Cannot obtain all the files from this device.  Please ensure that the device is connected properly, or that the battery is charged. The files that have been obtained till now will be sent to Elements Organize."Can anyone please help. Really need to be able to import this pics - never had this problem before.Thanks greatly.Robert (rtopolnytsky@bell.net)

In Photoshop Elements 21 is there a Spanish Language selection?

Can a purchased desktop Photoshop Elements 2021 once purchase is authorized be used without always having to be signed into Adobe account? 

I have run through manuals and searched Google and forum and cannot seem to resolve.  Maybe there are so many thumbnail issues its just hard to find. Anyway, why would organizer send the thumbnail to edit when I click the edit buttonin organizer instead of the original image?  Is there a setting I am missing?     I would actually prefer organizer to display images in full when clicked on as well.    I believe the thumbnails are there's because you may not always have your library connected if you're using offline discs to store.   But it seems like it would then just come back with an error message that can't find the image if location disconnected. Now I don't use catalogs couldn't that be the issue?

When I install the latest releases of Photoshop Elements 2021 (i.e., 2021.1 and now 2021.2), I no longer show styles and effects that I loaded previously. PSE reverts back to the default list. I have to load styles and effects back again by selecting the "Load Styles..." / "Load Effects..." from the applicable drop down menu. I can also add effects back through the Preset Manager, but when attempting to add styles, I get a pop-up indicating the style set has already been loaded. As I said, I can load these all back, but after each release, they are missing. What can I do to prevent this? Thanks!

I have a few old photos which for some reason are in orange. I tried converting them to black and white but they look like the negative (*not like the photo that can be printed from the negative, but the negative itself).My ability on PSE is quite limited, so I am looking for a relatively easy solution, if that exists or can be found (if it's complicated I will just throw them away). Thanks!

Would there be a client app (Windows) that can view the Elements catalog or is the only way to view the contents/pics is via the full Elements app?  Using Elements 2019 currently Thanks in-advance,Bill 

As stated, I need 2tb storage for my Organizer, so for the first time in 18 years, am considering external hard drive, although I would still prefer to have it all on my laptop if possible. Is it just as fast externally?  I have a new 4 tb SSD external hard drive.How exactly to I do it?  I obviously know how to Backup but what do I then do to Restore?  Thank you.

I recently purchased PSE 2021 with Camera Raw 3.0. However, I would like to utlize the new Super-Res function on the new CR 3.2 version. However, my PSE will not update to 3.2. Is Camera Raw 3.2 available for PSE 2021 or is this a CC update only? Please advise. Thanks.

Have 2021 and about 30K photos.  I select a tag, say one of my people, and then scroll down to see the older ones of that person (there are several thousand).  I double click on one to look closer.  All good.  But if that is not the one I wanted, I click on the Grid icon in the upper left to go back to all of the matching photos.  And it does for a fraction of a second but then clears all of the tags and goes back to the top.  Almost like it read two clicks and then applied the second to the All Media button that replaces the Grid button.  It does not happen every time, but most.  So seems to be some kind of timing issue.  It makes it EXTREMELY frustrating to use now though.

Hi, I purchased and downloaded the latest PS Elements from the Microsoft Store.Its loaded on my desktop but need the product key so I can load it onto my laptop.Where do I locate the product key? and,How do I download the software from from the Adobe site? Is it via the Free Trial link?PS: I tried talking to MS and they pushed me to Adobe. I sat or 45mins and was pushed from one consultant to another on the Adobe support line and finally gave up.

Yesterday with the PSE 2019 editor (W10),  I created a  collage with 16 photos and some text layers on a 8" x 10" new layer.  I was satisfied with the results when  finished and viewed on my screen so I decided to convert the .psd file to a .jpg image and have it printed on a 8" x 10" plaque. When I sent the file to a commercial printer, I was told the small .jpg would not have info for printing a sharp resolution photo. I tried to convert the .psd to other file formats but all file sizes were very small.My question is how to convert a .psd file to a .jpg file with enough resolution to print a 8 x 10 photo?

I just switched from PC to Mac, got a new Mac Mini (16GB/500GB). It's lightning fast on pretty much everything-- except PSE 2021. I mainly use the Organizer to keep track of personal photos, have 10+ years of tags. The performance so slow as to be nearly unusable. Every move, clicking a tag, resizing photos, etc. is literally 4 or 5 seconds behind or even more. Both the catalog and the media are stored on the Mac's internal SSD. By contrast, Lightroom Classic is very quick. Anyone have any ideas? I've been using PSE forever, but I can't live with this.

One year has just passed and still there is no support for Italian language: Why are you promoting Elements 2021 in Italian when the software is not in Italian? In my country this is called "cheating".

I have recently upgraded to Elements 2021 and was aware that the slideshow creation was different from my previous version Elements 10.When using the Slideshow creator in Elements 2021 version, it became claetr to me that it is functionally inferior to that in Elements 10.Is there any way I can upgrade Elements 2021 to give me slideshow functionality at least eaqual to that in Elements 10?Thank you

In order to save disk space, I'd like to flatten (all) my version sets. I start by selecting the sets with the aid of ]Find/By Details], I memorize their number (almost 6000), select them all, and thentry to do Edit/Version set/Flatten (including the option to delete from disk). PSE then starts and shows a progress bar that gets stuck at 79%. After a few hours of patience, I abort the process by restarting the program. Apparently, three or four version sets have been flattened. As well as tagging photos by category and / or keyword I also add captions to provide extra detail.  However, the caption for any photo taken on my daughters Samsung Camera shows as “SAMSUNG DIGITAL CAMERA” regardless of what has been typed into the caption box when I save Metadata to file. Any ideas on how to resolve this?

I use PSE 2020 on a Windows 10 PC. I occasionally get a pop-up error message from the Organizer when I'm NOT using the Organizer or any other PSE app. The message window is attached below.  I know that it's from the Organizer because it also shows the Organizer icon on my Taskbar when it pops up. I assume that it's got something to do with the "Auto Creations" feature, but the Auto Creations works fine. I get a notification about a new creation every day or so.What causes this error? Does it indicate a possible problem with my PSE installation?

Ich hatte bereits über 5000 Gesichter zu einer Person zugeordnet -getagt. leider habe ich Elements Organizer mit einem Klick auf das Profilbild dieser Person gesagt, dass es nicht diese Person ist. Dann hat Elements alle 5000 Tags gelöscht.Wie finde ich diese Gesichter wieder? Leider werden diese nicht als unbenannt angezeigt.Bitte kann mir jemand helfen?

Hallo liebe Community, ich habe ein Problem. Ich möchte Photoshop Elements 7.0 auf meinem Windows 10 Pro Rechner erneut installieren. Ich habe eine originale Seriennummer und den richtigen Installer herunter geladen (beides stammt von meinem Adobe-Nutzerkonto). Beides wurde mir vom Support am Telefon bestätigt. Die Nummer ist auf keiner Sperrliste, oder sonstwie korrupt. Auch das wurde mir bestätigt. Dennoch erhalte ich, wenn ich die Nummer eingebe nur folgende Information:Mit der Aussage, meine Nummer sei nicht valide.Der Support meinte, ich solle mich an dieses Forum wenden. Kann man mir hier helfen? Freundliche Grüße 🙂

Organirser appears lo load correctly, but none of the top row of menu items work  I have installed and uninstalled the complete application, with reboots, at least 3 times now, but this has made no difference. The Editor seems to work as it should. I have had the trial version of   Photoshop Elements 2020 installed and the Organiser in this version works as it should. I am running Windows 10 version 20H2 patched fully up to date.

Hello,Hope someone have a solutions.My computer, a Dell XPS8930 with Windows 10 Home had the motherboard replaced a few weeks ago.I did a clean factory settings afterwards, reinstalling all patches and software, including Adobe'sAnd my problems began.Installing both Photoshop Elements 2020 and Premiere Elements 2020 was fine, but updating is problematic.Both programs stalls at around 7% and ErrorCode 117 is displayed.I have spent many hours chatting with support, but no solutions.Removed programs, reinstalled in normal and safe mode.Disable virus and firewall.Contacted my provider for any network problems their end.Search through the Forum and tried several ideas.But still am stuck being unable to update.Any help or solutions would be greatful appreciated.

I thought I was originally just getting the basic version of Elements 2021 - but from Microsoft.  I had no idea there was a "store" version.  Now I see there have an odd Windows Store version with things in odd places.  And despite having paid for Elements 2021 and seeing that there have been 3 bug fix releases since my 11/2020 version - there appears to be no way to get them?!?!?!?!?  There is no Help | Update in the software.  So I tried going to the store to see if you have to update from there - nothing.  How do I get bug fix updates for the Windows store version of Elements/Organizer 2021? My version: Adobe Photoshop Elements Version: 19.0 (20201104.was.153865) x64
