Photoshop Elements

Running Mojave 10.14.6  on late 2012 macmini  Try to save an edited photoshop elements 2021 file to an external hard drive and get access not available message.actually can't save it anywhere. 

Hello, I just installed PSE 2021. When starting the software (Editor) for the first time, I'm asked to register. After entering ID and Password, the software should then ask for the serial number. Instead, it freezes for a few seconds and then returns back to the first window, asking again for registration. I checked my account on the adobe website and it works with my ID and password. I also switched of my virus protection and firewall in order to make sure it doesn't block the process. Nothing works, I'm still stucked in the first step for registration. Thanks for any help

Hello, is it possible to save/export the settings of Photoshop Elements 2021, e. g. to import them later on a newer computer?

PS Elements 5.Old but still useful.Recently the prompt ..."The current Organiser Catalogue has not been initialised" has been appearing on start up....after a Windows 10 reset.I don't reqire it and have never used it....(from new!).How do I remove the prompt Please?

This is bizarre...Using  Mac PS Elements 2020 18.0 on Catalina 10/15.7...   In the past 3 days, a few dozen .jpegs that began as Screen Shots have all been transformed magically into .ims files and will not open in PSE ...nor will they reconvert by simplying overwritign the format back to jpg or jpeg. WTF?What's more, many older screen shots and renamed screen shot images that were JPEGs  have just ... disappeared completely. Of my main, external, and backup drives.I have not upgraded/updated teh MAc OS, and I do not believe any Adobe PSE updates slipped through. I think. But what would DO this?

I've had version 20 for 5 months. It's always been fast no problems. Last 2 weeks it's slowed to a crawl and I can't save scrap pages - I'm told they are over 2GB and they cerainly aren't. I've uninstalled and reinstalled no different. 

When I run the editor program on my laptop the menu fonts are much smaller than the fonts on the drop down items.  If I change the display and cursor preference settings to the next larger size, (which is 200%),  then the dialog boxes do not fit on the screen,  For example if I try to apply a filter the "accept" text box is not available because it cant be seen because I cannot see the entire pop up window.  Please change the 200% value to a more usable value like 150% so all of the program can be seen.  

I installed Photoshop Elements 2021 and am in the process of Convert catalog.  I have a large catalog (over 80,000 images, catalog is 456MB) with all of them tagged.  The process has now been running for over 6 hours.  What is this process doing?  The images should not be moving as I understand it.  All linkages from the PSE 15 catalog to the images are there.

I have recently purchased a Dell with elements 2020.  Im not the most technical when using stuff and it won't let me install and shows an error each time. Attached pic.Cam anyone advise what I need to do?Many thanks Caroline 

Ich habe vor ca. 10 Jahren Photoshop Elements 7 gekauft und möchte es mal wieder nutzen. Die Seriennummer steht auf der Rückseite der CD Hülle. Allerdings wird mir bei der Eingabe der Seriennummer gesagt, dass die Seriennummer ungültig ist. Was kann ich da tun?

I have  had  conversation with folks  in the  Photoshop forum where  I was  told that if  the  user  has photoshop elements it is  impossible to using the  masking option, in that it simply will not work.I can verify this  because  I have  used  elements for  several years  and  have  had  zero success.I was  told  this morning from a  source  outside the  forums  that this  is  an Adobe  marketing strategy where information is  deliberately supressed so that the  user is  forced tobuy into a  monthly premium to have  this  tool work proerly.SO, PSE  users.. if  you are having zero success with masking in Elements... this  is  why! 

I have encountered an issue with trying to install Photoshop Elements 12 on the new computer with Windows 10.The program got installed but appears to be in a miniaturized version - not scaling properly to the screen.Please see the screenshots below My display resolution is 3840x2400. The Photoshop Elements settings in Display & Cursors don't have option to change to the high resolution display settings.Is there any way to make this work?I would appreciate if one can suggest a way to fix it without just going for the newer version of the software.Thank you and kind regards

I am trying to get through my GUI problems.  I havent found a way to turn off or undock the bar at the bottom of the main window ( the one with photo bin and undo redo)  I thought if I could view the image full screen it would help me see it better.  I have tried F11 with no luck.  Any help would be welcome.

I want to upgrade my Photoshop software from the 6 version.  If I buy and install Photoshop 2021 on my computer will all of my files transfer to the new software?

I am using MacOS 10.15 and Elements 2021. When I installed the app, going to the Graphics panel - all of the available choices do not download. I have tried to download them but get this error message. I am connected to the internet. No matter what time of day, if it is the server, it is never available!How do I get the missing backgrounds to load?  Thank you.

I am having trouble setting up access to my Elements catalog across multiple devices so I can access and make updates from either device and have them automatically sync. Is this not possible with the newest version of Elements? Our desktop computer is finally giving up the ghost, so my wife and I are finally joining the 21st century and using centralized cloud storage (Office 365 and OneDrive) so we can access/update/sync the same shared files from individual laptops that have limited local storage. I assumed we would be able to do this with the latest version of Elements, but that does not seem to be the case. I can't get Elements to recognize the catalog I've copied to OneDrive as the default location for updates, and it wants me to re-connect every photo (>24,000) on another device even though the file paths to their location in OneDrive have already been set on one device. I’m also nervous about how much local storage this reconnecting eats up, and it doesn’t seem like changes

Hello !in December 2018, I bought and installed Photoshop Elements 2019 - Windows 64 bits on my PC, using an Adobe package including 2 DVDs (1 for Windows + 1 for Mac OS) and a valid Serial Number.I decommissioned this PC some days ago and I wish to install this Photoshop Elements 2019 release using the same Serial Number, but my newer PC has no DVD reader. On the Adobe Web site, I can't find the link to Photoshop Elements 2019 - Windows 64 bit Release. => Could you please send me the corresponding link? Thank you very much. Ben (bvellieu@yahoo.com)

I just purchased and installed PSE 2021 (an app I've use in many versions, going back many years). Apparently, the Adobe Creative Cloud app was downloaded and installed at the same time. It has slowed my machine to a crawl, and is continuously running processess in the background, apparently thinking I want to use lots of Creative Cloud apps. When I tried to uninstall CC, it warned me that I would lose access to all my Adobe products. I'm guessing this doesn't include PSE, since it is a stand-alone purchase.Can I uninstall the Adobe Creative Cloud app without harming Photo Shope Elements 2021?Thanks 

very frustrated with support.  I find that I am having to go to youtube to find out how to do things.  Is there a way in elements 2021 to undock windows in expert mode?  For example,  to have a floating navigator window.Thanks 

Where can I find the place in Photoshop Elements to work with green screen? 

Hi,I recently upgraded to PSE 2019, but I still can't get the "Places" map to work or show any of my photos by location, neither in "Pinned" or "UnPinned" view. I used to have PSE14, and the "Places" worked fine there, for a while, until they didn't anymore. I have been searching the Forums to see if anyone else has the same problem, but all I can find is information saying the "Places" function doesn't work anymore with versions PSE18 and older, and recommendations to upgrade to 2019 as there is a new Map service provided there: Well I've upgraded, but still can't get it to work! I'm using Windows 10 Home - 2018. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. 🙂

HelloI have a new computer.  On the old computer, I did a backup of the catalog to an external hard drive using photoshop elements.  I noticed that the file format on the catalog backup drive didn't "look" like photos, so I also did a separate backup simply copying the photos to an (different) external hard drive.  On the new computer, do I need to copy the photos onto it and then restore the catalog in elements?  Or do i just restore the catalog using elements.

HelloOn my old computer, my wife and I had separate accounts, and we each had a catalog.  On the new computer, for various reasons we've decided we don't need separate accounts, but we do want to keep the two catalogs separate.  Do I just install photoshop elemetns on the new computer, restore on catalog from the backup, and then create a second catalog and restore the other catalog to that?  On the old computer they were both called "main catalogue". 

All of my photos were moved from a hard drive to a solid state drive on the same computer. Now in Organizer my catalog is still there but all of the photo files are disconncted.   How can I point the catalog to the new file location to reconnect the photos en masse? The files are in the same folder structure on the new drive. I do not have a backup of the catalog before the files were moved. I am using Photoshop/Premier 2020 Bundle.  Thanks.
