Photoshop Elements

I have a brand new computer with Windows 10.  I installed Elements 2021 last week. Working in Elements last week,  the PDS file showed a photo thumbnail when browsing in Photoshop Elements.  Now when I want to open a file, if it is in psd format, I see only the Elements logo, not a thumbnail of the actual photo.    There was some sort of update and I downloaded and installed 2 Topaz filters which I purchased some  time ago for my old computer.  The filters do not show in the filter gallery for 2021 .  Could either the update or the filters have changed anything?  I have 2 more filters to download and install.I also have Elements 7 and the Filter Gallery there shows the filter.I Hope this is not too confusing.  The Adobe Help could not seem to get what I was saying.  She finally said no one was there and to go to the ForumI have:C>ProgramFiles (x86)>Adobe>PhotoshopElements 7.0   and  C>Prog. Is the basic Elements 2019 [for $99.00 ($79.00 upgrade)] optimized for Mac so I'll stop getting those messages about future versions not working on the Mac?????  THANKS!

Just got an iMac for Christmas and photoshop elements, on my old cpu I had CS6 and was used to running that for screen printing. I can't seem to find the slice tool in elements 2021. is it not available on that application? 

How do I use smart objects in Photoshop Elements? There is an option to Enable/Disable them in settings, but no actual way to turn a layer into a smart object in the layers menu?

Unable to email photos. Keep getting "something went wrong, check "preferences"". continued refusal to validate hotmail email addresses. Reference to "t, see Email configuration in Elements Organizer." does not exist.  Any advice?  Thanks. 

In people view, I accidentally chose "do not show again" on some photos that were not named/tagged nor were they all the same face.  Is there any way I can get them to show again so I can tag them properly? Thank you in advance.Lisa

I purchased a boxed Elements/Premiere 2020.  There is no serial number on the sleeve.  There are other codes but they do not look like the codes given as examples as a redemption code (that would be used to receive a serial number).  The code I have is more than numbers and letters,  It's got, commas, slashes etc.  I do not know how to use this code.   Please help. Michael

How do I add Frames to an Image other than the 8 frames in Quick mode in Photoshop Elements 2020?    

Hello:Purchased and downloaded (12/9) PSE 2021 to my mac running Catalina with iOS version 10.15.7. When started and in Turorials Help, program only referenced Organizer 2019 review. Contacted Adobe, they said, "some issues with downloading" offered to sell me PSE 2020." I declined. Deactivated program and received refund.Contacted them ~12/26 and was told problems "solved", so, I repurchased and downloaded. First couple of starts resultd in no repeat of the original problem, but a couple of closures and error message about "disk" problems. This AM started the program and it reverted back to the previous problem of offering PSE 2019 overviews??? Contacted Adobe and requested program deactivation and a refund, which was granted.I'm now without any PSE as my version 12 has problems with Apple's Catalina...that is without reloading an earlier version of an iOS operating system (also declined)...now in fact I can't even uninstall the buggy program!Problem

I am using PS 2020 and have burned all slide shows to CD, which there are hundreds. It is getting harder to get a system to play the CDs and I would like to move all of the photos to a USB flash drive, but not having any luck, need help on this, thank you.Ray

I purchased and downloaded PSE 2021. I had to enter the serial number...no problem...downloaded successfully. However I didn't write down the serial number. I want to keep it somewhere safe in case my hard drive crashes at some point (it wouldn't be the first time-ugh!)Where do I find this serial number.  I don't see it recorded in the program anywhere unless I am not looking in the right place.

Can you import additional sky images into the Photoshop Elements 2021 replacment skies library?

How do I make a gradient with color stops that would use the foreground or background colors instead of a particular color?  I know there are some preset gradients that use foreground and background colors, but, would like to create my own.  For instance, edit the metal gradient and instead of having a "gold" gradient have the gradient be the foreground color? I am using PSE 2021 on a Mac.

All of my PSE 2021 pictures are located in Pictures/Adobe/Catalog.  They are then grouped by their appropriate category folders. It seems more correct to have each category folder elevated directly under Pictures not two levels down under Adobe/Catalog.   I can drag each folder and place it under Pictures, but I can not drag a group of folders at the same time, which would make the task much easier.  How can I move a group of picture folders? Any advice please??Thanks......Ron

Suddenly now, when I open the organizer and click on one of the mutiple folders  in the left column, the thumbnails do not show up in the center window.  Only a message shows up, saying, "No media to be displayed."  I have no idea what has happened.  What can I do to get the thumbnails to show up again?I am using Photoshop Elements 11.

I used PSE 20 before.I just installed PSE 21.All photos were imported.But no TAGS were installed and I cannot find an option how to install them.There is only an offer of some "generic" tags, which are pretty useless.How can I transfer all my existing trags from 20 to 21?

PSE 2021 Organizer has a bug in the Print command that causes it to over-ride paper size settings and misprint photos. The results may vary depending on your printer, but for me, it sets the papar size to 5x7. Attached is what happens trying to print a 4x6 image onto 4x6 paper (which Organizer over-rides the Print dialogue box settings and the printer's settings from paper size 4x6 to 5x7.)Do not waste time, ink, or photo paper trying to fix this. Adobe needs to issue an update with the correction.As a work around, you can switch to Editor, and it will correctly print your photo.

I bought a new laptop with 2 internal HDs early this year and upgraded to PSE2020.  I think Adobe helped me with moving my Catalog, so I now have a My Catalog-2020-02-03-do not use on my (D:) and also a My Catalog Main 03-13-2020.  I'm guessing that the do not use is the catalog that was saved from my previous PSE11 and the Main is the new catalog after installing PSE2020. Now I am confused about my Catalog Backups that I have on my (F:) external HD.  I have a MyCatalogBackup(2020-03-16) and when I click on that I get all of my photos.  However, the first 8 icons are "white pages" numbered B0000000.cache; B0000001.xmp; B0000002.xmp; B0000003.json; B0000004.json; B0000005.json; B0000006.dat; B0000007.cached.  Starting with B0000008.jpg are the photos.  The final 2 "white pages" on this list are Backup.tly and catalog.buc.  I have 2 additional Catalog backups, one from 2020-06-29 and the other from 2020-12-24.  Th

Unter meinem Adobe Account kann ich das Programm unter "Registrierte Produkte" sehen, jedoch lässt es sich nicht auf meinem PC neu installieren oder aktivieren (ich bekomme nur Elements 2020 auf der Website vorgeschlagen). Es wäre riesig toll, wenn ich auf meinem neuen PC die gleiche Lizenz weiternutzen kann.

I have PSE 2020, but cannot find "scripts" under "files" How can I process multiple files, that was so easy on earlier editions of Elements?

I have installed PSE 2021 as a trial version. I am using PSE 2020 for managing my photos. Both programs are installed on a HP 250 G6 with Windows 10 Pro newest patch level. When I try to end the organizor the gui will be closed but the organizor prozess is still running in the task manager. When I try to start the organizor again, nothing happens.... because it is still running in the taks manager. The workaround is to cancel manually these process. Can anybody help me?

I'm using Adobe Photoshop Elements 13. I just reinstalled Windows 10 due to various issues including Photoshp Elements 13 that crashed. I have now installed prograammet again without problems; but when I enter my serial number, I am told that it is used two times before and that I need to deactivate the software on another computer. I can not, since it is the same computer I've used the program on. I have found a place on the Abobe website, where it says that I need to contact you with such problems. It just has not been possible for me to find a place with a phone number or chat. Is there anyone who can help me?

have an old copy of Photoshop Elements 8 including installation key on a CD and have just purchased a Microsoft Surface Pro7 without an optical drive. Can I install this program off of Adobe's site and use my existing key to activate it? or is there some other method you can suggest.
