Premiere File Cannot Be Opened, May Be Damaged Or Corrupt Error
Hello, I had a Premiere file i was editing on my m1 max mac, in v24. After a few hours of editing, I tried opening the file again to the error: "The project could not be loaded, it may be damaged or contain outdated elements." I looked online, logged out and in of Adobe Creative Cloud, restarted my computer, re-installed the software, tried to recover an auto save of the file, tried to use Premiere (Intel) version, nothing worked. I read about opening it on another computer and sending yourself a new saved copy with the media unlinked, so that night I slack'd myself the file, opened it at home on a windows machine (it opened,) saved it as a new file, sent it back to myself, the next day I went back to my Mac at work, tried to open the file, it didn't work. I then uninstalled and reinstalled premiere pro, then opened the file, NOW IT WORKED! 🙂 I made some edits, exported some things, then closed premiere to bring the clips into Capcut to use th
