Premiere (Beta)

I have been using the automatic transcript feature for a few days, and it has been amazing. I have a few feature ideas I believe they should add, such as automatically correcting phrases (if you have edited them before), ability to detect different voices, and so much more. The main idea I would like to see added is the ability to have the Speech to Text feature use .mogrt files (Motion Graphics Template files), this would allow for easier transcription, especially if you have a preset for subtitles, text animations, etc. Overall, the feature itself has impressed me and many others. If some of the features listed above can be implemented, it would greatly improve the efficiency and ease of access for Transcription. I know there is much more to come with Transcription, and I am very impressed on where the Adobe team has brought this application and many others.

The transcription wraps words weird in the window. After it transcrips in the text window it will break words in half and move jsut part of the word to the next line instead of the whole word if it doesn't fit in the window. Also After transcring 1 file/timeline I made captions then I opened the text window again and it said I don't have acces to transcription.

I just was added to the Speech to Text beta today. This very exciting! I have tested on multiple clips length and speakers. I work in broadcast news, so our interview aren't already scripted. I see a huge group needing to be able to share the transcript as a log for writers. Is there any chance a share could be created, say in PDF form?I'd love to report back to the team I work on that this could be happening.

I just got accepted to the Speech-to-Text beta, and tried to use it, but it wouldn't generate a caption track. (The "creating" wheel has been running for about a half an hour as I write this, this is my second attempt after closing and restarting the program.) It's been failing to generate caption tracks for a couple weeks, actually. I tried rolling back to earlier stages of the beta that I knew it had worked in, but it didn't fix the problem. I've since been just captioning using graphics.

The text panel has properly idenified and timed my transcript damn near perfectly. The only problem I'm having is that when I click "create captions" to get it on the timeline, nothing happens. It just spins indefinitely. Is there a step I'm missing?

So to enable the new Captions features, we're supposed to go to the Beta menu and select enable new features.   Um ... one leetle problem here?   On my Win10 machine, there is no 'BETA' menu item to start with.   And of course, it supposedly syncs to my CC account ... but still doesn't show ANY of my workspaces, presets, or keyboard shortcuts.       Neil

Downloaded the latest beta this morning (1/29/20), and trying to play any clips gives me a "Audio and Video clock out of sync in Adobe Player" error message. Audio plays back VERY choppy, and some audio doesn't play  back at all. I've tried ProRes, Mp4, XAVC-I,  and XDCAM EX footage.System info    Application: Premiere Pro (Beta) v15.0.0.BUILD    OS: Windows v10.0.19042, RAM: 63.70 GB, CPUs (logical): 48

Hi, thee delete button does not work in the beta version ( it works fine in normal version )Steps to reproduce:    1. ... Result: ...Expected: ... System info    Application: Premiere Pro (Beta) v15.0.0.BUILD    OS: Windows v10.0.19042, RAM: 7.92 GB, CPUs (logical): 4

Hello, I am trying out the new Auto-transcribing feature in Premiere Pro beta and it is working great. However, I have noticed that using the"Merge Segments" button always merges the current selected segment with the previous segment. Shouldnt it merge the selected segments when more than one is selected? I tried shift+clicking on 2 segments, they appear selected (light grey) and then I click merge segments but it always merges the first selected segment with the one before it. Thank you for such a great feature.

Just installed the 15.x beta. Went to sync ... it supposedly synced fine after a couple minutes.   However ... none of my workspaces nor my keyboard shortcuts, nor a single one of my presets appeared!   I re-upped from Pr2020 to my CC account, re-down-synced in 2021, and after a bit of watching the bar complete its slow crawl, it says syncing complete.   But again, not one of my preferences, settings, workspaces, presets, nor keyboard shortcut panel were added.   This is NOT syncing. Period.   Neil

In the latest beta, my audio track mixer is no longer recording level changes for my current project. It worked for about an hour, but now no adjustments are retained....be it touch, latch or write operation. I am able to edit track keyframes in the timeline, and I see the keyframes that were created in the first hour of mixing, but not the ones I tried to add with the track mixer after that. A new test project does retain track changes. I tried resetting prefs. The tracks aren't locked. Bug, or am missing something?

I purchase PP 4 weeks ago. It;s been bug ridden since its first installation. 1. Upgraded to latest version of PP beta. Enabled Captions then PP best crashed! 2.Still no way to edit CAPTIONS in PP BetaRefer to screen shots belowWhat a waste of my money and time. ADOBE... please fix CAPTIONS feature PP public version (refer to my previous posts) and PP betaSystem info    Application: Premiere Pro (Beta) v14.9.0.40    OS: Windows v10.0.18363, RAM: 31.83 GB, CPUs (logical): 12

Does anyone know why anytime you go to change the version of the file to a zip and open it up in text edit that its scrpited like this?  "ãÏΩmì€6∂-¸9˘]˛toU–ç˜ó)èoµÌ$„;qσN¶Œú:u$A[7›R?juœ©˘Ô@Jj"!R v´mxjÏà)j/`cÌçç≈ߡÁœÀãìflÕÚz∂òˇı :ÖONÃ<_≥˘áø>˘Â˝w@>9˘?œæ~˙vi.gfi^Íï>˘u”û<yˆıWˆ‹‚ˇô|uÚ&sˇ¸lJ{£'gªg^Ωt'N^\ËÎk˜flÎÇÛ¢∞»@q°ÅÊ^»2+å¢R'ç/SÓ€æz˙„¢0∑GQu∞˙™+≥\ÕÃıŒπÌs¸:3º[Èï9˝av›|*‹x*≠3®(/Å–J1RA J]⁄HÕœù_“Ò ≠öçN^ÕÛÁ_ü¿mÛØû~7[^Øû¡,#9‰ÖdÄB.Äñå0DF,gÙÈY›v{È;ì/Ê≈.,ıŸ3ˇIF="⁄}ƒ¢0ú`K@•@+MÅ¿∆ òÂr¿#‚hèàwëòêP†J€◊(ßhÕÏ√*$hÅ)ÕX>‡I¥G$;è(Kƒ -‡π§Ä2ùÖ (ÀP)ÑÌôôà4⁄#“ùGT2'÷XÿV;,®–dŸø8Õê·¢‘9à,⁄#≤ùG‘*å÷‰yôäx4µ>F+EëKE à<⁄#Ú›G¥&dòXx ÜÄZóîŒå5jâ©÷ÂxDÌ≈Œ#ZT Ãπq√•¥c€⁄Çí#î„KÉ’ÄGî—QÓ<bëïôdFX+€&#2

I've have had problems with video artifacting on my MacAir M1 Hardware accelerated H264 exports being unusably blotchy as opposed to the exact same settings on my Intel Macbook being completely clean.  This begins and shows up most notably in the darker portions of the video.  When the same exact Sony HDCam MXF video is exported using the Software accelerated option on the M1 chip it is exported perfectly.

Since updating to V14.9.0.67 after about 15-30 minutes (varies) I have the force quit pop-up comes up and then RAM for premiere pro is like 50-80GB (my system has 16GB) and it won't change until you close Premiere Pro and re-open. Sometimes I've even had to restart my Mac Mini to get it to stop popping up. Didn't have this problem before updating to the latest version.

I have noticed an issue when installing the daily updates of most of the beta DVA apps. During the install / update, any icons of the beta apps I currently have in the dock get removed. You have to manually go to applications folder and move the new shortcuts back to the dock.  See the issue on Big Sur (11.2) test mac I'm running and also seen it on catalina 10.15.7.

Hi Beta community -  we have added new functionality to Team Projects in beta, which allows you to share media with your collaborators using cloud-synced directories like Creative Cloud or Dropbox. Google Drive and other cloud providers may not work. As long as you have shared the storage location of your media with your collaborators, they will be able to use and contribute to the cloud-shared media in your Team Project, from within Premiere Pro & After Effects.    For Creative Cloud a directory can be shared though https://assets.adobe.com/files and for Dropbox it can be either shared through https://www.dropbox.com/home  or DropBox app. All collaborators should have edit permissions on selected directory as shared folder and File Syncing should be turned ON in Creative Cloud Desktop App for all collaborators.   Click on 'New Team Project' . In new Team Team Project dialog, there is a new entry for Media.   Enable the copy media settin

I'm wondering if we will ever see a Sensei feature or something of that vain where you can have Premiere scan all your connected computer drives and such and it could relink your media faster in that scan than having to manually search for it everytime. I'm sure this would be a godsend and a massive timesaver for many editors.

In this case drag and dropping clips in the timeline doesn't work:1. snap in timeline is not active2. the sequence has already been created3. dragging multiple clips into timeline4. when I see the icoon that show that I can't drop the clips (the hand with the sign), my selection of clips is gone (not in the project panel)I have found the same bug in Premiere v14.7.0 (build 23)I have not found the bug in Premiere v14.0.4 (build 18)I have no idea when it first occured.

I am having serious issues after updating premiere this morning. I keep getting an error that says "GPU frame upload error" that occurs before the dreaded "A serious error has occurred and Premiere Pro must shut down" message appears. I am running the Beta on a M1 Mac Mini.   Additionally, my MOGRT files are split where they push part of the image to the other side of the screen.
