Premiere (Beta)

Using an exisiting PP prject in the Beta causes offline files of AE sequences.Assinging those again with the files on the HDD - the error shows it would need the AE (Beta) to be installed. This version is installed. 

Steps to reproduce:1. Add video to timline2. Add time remapping effect to video3. Add Keyframe to video4. Scrub to add next keyframe5. I find that different builds can sometimes create a slowdown in reframing jpgs or PNGs imported into Premiere.  How about creating a proxy workflow just for stills?

Beta 25.2 I find it agonizingly slow to do reframes, either of shots or graphics I pull in from AE. I change a value in the motion Effect Controls and have to wait a good 10 seconds for it to reflect in the program monitor.Apple M2 Max 96GB ram.  

Project crashes out when trying to drag in videos to edit.

This issue makes the timeline less responsive and introduces FPS drops, especially when dragging or extending the duration of text layers.The Problem:When a text layer is placed directly over a video clip (on higher tracks such as V4, V5, etc.), the performance of the timeline degrades significantly. So, as the title says, Premiere Pro beta won't open.It only opens up the 'loader', but immediatelly stops right when it tries to load After Effects dependencies. Problem is it generates no log because the software doesn't launch, so I have no idea even how to give details in that regard. Same thing happens with Media Encoder. With After Effects, opening it up gives me an error at least, but has been 5 days since a post regarding this problem (which I commented to) has been posted and no answer has been given. I really want to fix this as I need the Color Management in beta.  I will leave the error messages from launching After Effects for illustration purposes - out of the three apps is the only one giving me something, though as you will se it doesn't make much sense.  Also, FYI, I tried to do a bunch of stuff - uninstalling and reinstalling, uninstalling --> logging out of CC, logging back in --> reinstalling, uninstalling --> deleting pref

I'm playing around with the new Premiere Beta and Im having an issue when I make an in to out on my source monitor audio. It's not highlighting my selection like it did in previous versions. Ive tried looking at different options but Im not seeing anything. Any ideas?

Version 25.2, PC, Windows 11 Pro (10.0, Build 22631) I opened the latest version of Premiere Pro on one computer today, and the Program Monitor would not move. I would slide the timeline header, and the frame on the monitor display would only change to the correct frame about 30 seconds to a minute later. As soon as I begin playback, sound begins playing but not video. The display just stays stuck on the same frame. I tried clearing cache, resetting my workspace, restarting the PC, and closing/reopening the app and clearing cache completely. Then I opened a completely different project on a completely different PC (same PP and Windows versions) and I'm having the exact same problem. I just rolled the version back to 26.1 on the second PC and it works perfectly. Please investigate this and ensure it doesn't continue into future versions. Thanks!   [typo's edited by mod]

adjusting menus through the TourBox control surface is incredibly sluggish in this beta release, while it was almose instananeous in the prevoious build (and the non beta build)

stuck on Version 25.2 for weeks.  any suggestions?

I can't do any motion edits. When I select a clip, the response time is over 30 seconds.

I'm using Premiere Pro Beta 24.4.0 on a Windows Desktop / Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64 based systems.  Firstly, when I open my project, I get an issue message showing that most of my rendered video preview file paths can’t be found. It system requests: Locate File Rendered.It shows Last Path and Path.For example:Last Path: C:\Users\rpeet\Creative Cloud Files\Premier Pro\22.0\Adobe Premiere Pro Auto-Save/Adobe Premiere Pro (Beta) Video Previews\2020 Ajit_2_1_1.PRV\Rendered - b2d5a88-9b45-47b5-a740-55f0ddad11ac.mpegI then locate the path for the rendered file; however, I get an error message:File Import FailureError message – The importer reported a generic errorSo, I’m forced to skip all the rendered video file previews. Once inside the project and trying to use the application . . . The Info.plist that is flattened and embedded inside the PProHeadless executable should have the same exact information as the Premiere Pro app, just so that third-party plugins can correctly identify their "environment". Instead, the flattened Info.plist embedded by the PProHeadless executable contains generic/wrong information. Especially when making a selects timeline I like to zoom out to as much as twenty-thirty minutes visible on the timeline. However now I can only back up as far as the final clip in the timeline. I included a screenshot of the smallest I could make my timeline... I used to be able to back it way out with just the minus key...

Previously (like, a week or two ago), I was able to select all of the captions in my sequence and the Essential Graphics panel would show all of the properties of the captions (that is, font, position, etc.) and I could edit everything at once. Life was good.In a very recent beta version, all the editing functionality disappeared from the Essential Graphics panel (in fact, the Essential Graphics panel was gone and replaced with the Graphics Templates panel), but the Properties panel still worked to do it. This was fine, but an odd change (especially since the Captions and Graphics workspace only included the Graphics Templates panel and not the Properties panel).In the latest beta that I just installed yesterday, I can no longer bulk edit the captions from the Properties panel either - I can get it into a mode where I can bulk change the font, but not the position (by "upgrading" the captions to graphics.So, to put it simply, there is no longer an Essential Graphics panel, the Graphics

Applying the mask to opacity is not visable. If I apply opacity as "free draw bezier" is not visable. If I apply it as a elipse or polygon is OK. What I am supposed to do? I can not finish my current project... Help, please!

Updated to Build 58 today and it's locking me out of any project I open and not allowing me the ability to edit at all

Premiere does not appear to correctly parse linear timewarps from OTIO imports - even it's own exports.  e.g. -1000% is read as -123.45% when imported into premiere, but shown correctly when imported into Resolve. Also +1000% resolves to 909.09%. The speeds are (nearly) correct when the PP .otio export is converted to EDL with otiotool. This was a 23.976 sequence, using offline files, but I think the math is incorrect regardless of frame rate. There are discrepencies with timecode when using offline files too - e.g. sometimes the bin start is different from both the start time when it is loaded in the source monitor and when added to a sequence. I've tried updating from build 24 today several times. The install process goes completely normally, up through 100% and then the CC app doing the brief spinner thing as it resets. Then it shows an update available  ... build 25, again. If I open the public beta, yea, it's still build 24. Bizarre.

The 2nd multicam is then edited into a sequence. This is all within standalone 'project 1' Project 1 is duplicated to 'Project 2' and amended slightly (3-box landscape nest is swapped for 3-box portrait, plus audio in 2.1 base multicam is slipped back 8 frames.). Multicams renamed in project 2 to '2.1 MC' and '2.2 MC'. Both projects added to a production by dragging from finder and dropping on production window (individually, to avoid 'duplicate projects being created - which is potentially another bug?). Fresh 'project 5' + sequence created in the production, project 1 opened and the project 1 edited sequence edited into the proje
