Premiere (Beta)

After updating to lates beta build 25.2.0(Build 54), Pr pro UI is nomore selectable for some time even if I zoom in and zoom out from timeline. Already reset the app preference from startup (shift click).SpecI7 10gen processor64 GB RAMRTX 2060OC 

If an Iris transition is present, any visual effect plugins applied to the outgoing or incoming clips are fed incorrect frames in the portion of the clip that overlaps the transition. The problem seems limited to the Iris transitions.  Steps to reproduce:- Make sure a recent version of our software is installed: https://fxfactory.com/download/- Once FxFactory has been installed, launch our app and download the trial version of FxFactory Pro.- Launch Premiere Pro- Create a new project- Import one clip and create a new sequence from that clip.- Cut the clip in two, creating a seamless insertion point for a transition.- Apply the FxFactory Pro Color Correction > Levels plugin to the second half of the clip. Adjust some of the parameters to make the effect obvious. - Scrub the playhead over both halves of the clip. Aside from the output of the second half being color corrected by the Levels plugin, the correct video frames are rendered.- Add an Iris Round transition

Maybe I'm missing something, but it seems like you can no longer change the bin behavior to to "open in place" when you double click a bin in your project panel. I like to keep everything in one panel, not double click to open a new panel or a new window. Is this feature just gone in Beta?

I have been trying for 3 hours to render and export a half hour video which i do every single week without issue. I have done every single troubleshooting suggestion google can find and nothing has resolved the issue. This work is due for a client to be published and syndicated by morning and I cannot afford to lose this client because your software is buggy. I always have issues with exporting and rendering, it always takes forever, sometimes hours to render and export the hour long shows I work on. Then I have to wait for the uploads and the processing of the host sites, it is hours and hours of my week sitting around babysitting a progress line to make sure it doesn't kick me an error message and stop and make me start all over again. I have tried copying my project to a new project, I have tried opening my project in the standard premiere pro 2025, I have tried exporting to media encoder but it keeps saying it is not installed when i fact it is installed. Hi, This error is driving me insane. PPro Beta crashes or gets extremely laggy when I work with simple files in Source Panel/Monitor. Only solution is a PPro restart. Some video files with 48kHz 4 channel audio or just a small simple preview stock audio at 44.1kHz opened in Source Panel gives the Event Panel work to do: "Audio and video clock out-of-sync at" ... "Adobe Player". Does the "Clock" relate to this? I have only one option here: I have never had any issues like this before using this hardware and PPro. If I play the same file in a sequence and Program Panel it does not create the same problem. Only in Source panel?! I've tried the following:set all audio devices to match 48 kHz : No differenceChanged audio driver setting (external audio - Audient ID14) default from 48kHz - 24 bit to 16 bit  : No differencetried changing device class to MME > ASIO > MME : Made audio work better, but video froze - changed back to MME.change lat

Hey guys, for a while now the M & S symbols have appeared blurry and dull while tracks are reduced to their minimum size. In my attached image you'll see what happens when I increase a track size even the tiniest amount. I first noticed this issue when the bug surrounding edit points not rendering on minimum track heights was fixed but it's possible this snuck its way in prior to that.This is on a windows machine at 100% render scale. v25.2(beta55)

If you don’t mind I just want to ask a solution. I’m facing small issue in premier pro beta. When I use effect control in scale and rotation , whatever I used , the timeline is lagging for a moment . Can you share with me some advice for this issue ? I attached a file below for symbol.Thanks 🙏 

I have some 59.94fps files with attached proxies. I transcoded the full res files to 29.97fps, at normal speed, therefore, skipping every 2nd frame.After replacing the full res 59.94fps files with the full res 29.97fps files, the proxies now plays at 29.97fps, but half the speed, as if it is interpreted to 29.97fps instead of skipping frames.

Hi there,The short of it is that the 'Create Clip Marker...' feature within Scene Edit Detection isn't working, at least not for me.  It creates the cut points no problem, but not the markers.  I dragged the clip to the New Item icon so the sequence settings match the clip.  Just running Scene Edit Detection normally didn't work.  I tried removing the audio and running it again... that didn't work.  I also tried to nest the video and run it and that didn't work.  Lastly, I tried it on the clip within the nest itself and that didn't work.  Not sure what else to do...Premiere Pro 24.5.0 BETA2017 iMac Pro2.5 GHz 14-Core Intel Xeon WRadeon Pro Vega 64 16 GB64 GB 2666 MHz DDR4Ventura 13.6.3

Hi, Every time I cut footage, the timeline freezes for about 5 to 7 seconds before unfreezing. This issue wasn't present in the previous update. Version of the App:Premiere Pro Beta, Version 25.2.0 BETA (Build 55)Platform and OS Version:Windows 11, Version 23H2When opening the project window in any project, the program crashes immediately, making it impossible to access the window. Also, the project window doesn't open automatically when first loading a project. To reproduce the bug, launch Premiere Pro Beta, load any project or create a new one, and observe that the project window does not appear. Any attempt to manually open the window causes the application to crash. The expected result is for the project window to open automatically when a project is loaded and to be manually accessible without issue. Please investigate and address this issue as soon as possible.

Hi This is happening on both PP 24 and 25, on a MBP 2023, 36 GB memory, Apple M3 Pro Chip, running Sonoma 14.5Crashes started when tempting to export, still running 2024. I updated my software which landed me in 2025 and it still crashes on export. I have done the following, and nothing has changed the crashes when I attempt to export:-trashed preferences and media cache-changed export settings, also just video or just audio-used encoder -copied the sequence to a new project-tried exporting other projects, stored both on my hard drive and on the external drive where the original crashing project has media stored-run Adobe Creative Cloud diagnostics beta version - which after the first run suggested I crash preference, and running again after that said no compatibility issues or any other issues have been foundThoughts on what else I can try? Yesterday I sent a screen recording to my client to begin reviewing a rough cut. I don't know what else to try! Thanks

I'm not sure that this has been asked in a while, so here goes:Why is Premiere so reluctant to use my available CPU/GPU power? I am currently waiting while a 1920x1080 25fps 2m 30s sequence exports. It has a few effects - nothing complex (a track matte and a colour grade) but PPro is being pathetically slow, taking something like 15 minutes to do the export (to H.264). Premiere is using only ~15% of my CPU and just ~10% of my GPU. Why?! Is the app just really inefficiently coded? Has Adobe done absolutely nothing to take advantage of those newfangled multi-core processors that were introduced a couple of weeks decades ago? Are there any plans to radically overhaul whatever is causing this frustrating reluctance to use the available power?

I would like to try PP Beta. I've dowloaded the install file, installed the file but nothing seems to happen. What goes wrong?

É Algo reecorente e muito frustrante, nunca consigo imnportar arquivos sem ter problemas, ou não aceitam audio ou aceita o audio mas não imperta o video. as vezes importa no inicio mas depois não funciona mais. se eu excluir o mesmo arquivo e tentar colocar novamente não vai. arrumem isso por favo, está impossibilitando o uso.

Every time there is an update, I lose the Preview Area and thumbnails in list view in the Project Panel. This has been going on for quite some time now. 25.2.53 W11/24H2   It used to be just the thumbnails, but now that the Preview Area is default off it does it with the Preview as well.

When viewing the timeline zoomed out it can not be navigated via mouse, key navigation like up-down arrow works to move the playhead, mouse cannot move the playhead.Zoom performed with +/- keys does not trigger bug.Zoom performed with alt-mouse-scroll triggers the bug (both left and right alt). Once BUG is in operation, zooming in with alt-wheel at certain point triggers a minor black-screen-refresh like effect and timeline is back to normal (can use mouse to navigate).Once bug is in effect, dbl-click any footage in project panel opens the footage in source panel - bug dissapears, timeline works.Once BUG is in effect, any sort of timeline refresh by navigating far away left or right (home, end keys) makes the bug go away (if view changes).Preferences setup:Timeline Playback: Smooth ScrollTimeline mouse scrolling: Horizontal. Good luck.

I have two sequences that both have audio tracks in from some interviews. When I go to transcribe for text editing, it say there was no dialogue found. 

Steps to reproduce:    1. ... Clicked on a mask I drew on a video layer (no keyframing just a simple polygon mask) Result: ... I expected to see the bounds of the mask so that I could tweak itExpected: ... Everytime I click on mask it crashes. It's happened 4 times in a row where the whole program suddenly quits as soon as I click on the mask in Effect Controls. I was in an earlier version of the Beta so when it crashed twice I updated to the most recent Beta and it crashed with the same behavior two more times.  System info    Application: Premiere Pro (Beta) v24.3.0.37    OS: macOS v13.6.4, RAM: 64.00 GB GB, CPUs (logical): 16

Since the last update, the feature of editing with text has been completely dead on Premiere Beta. It won't select the text, it won't follow the dialogue, and it's useless.

Premiere beta 25.2.0.044 The application is very slow in displaying on the screen in the color changes (brightness contrast etc.) compared to the previous version. As soon as I move the cursor, the display is not immediate but at least 1 second passesMacbook pro max
