If I do anything and try to save, works. As long as I do anything to the project, the save window stays there forever and wont save the project.
I can't seem to modify the file enough to fix it...The position information is present in premiere beta, when importing an .srt file which uses {\an8} for top center position. But the character "}" is grouped with the actual caption text.for example:Text from srt:200:02:37,120 --> 00:02:39,760{\an8} In the mid 19th century, Text on screen in premiere:} In the mid 19th century,
I'd like to be able to export not only the transcript but also the captions with timecode!
When using the Beta versions of both Premiere and AE, I get green frames randomly in linked compositions from After Effects. These green frames also appear in my RAM preview of the comps within After Effects as well. These frames appear in final exports as well. SOMETIMES these frames disappear after clearing my frame cache and restarting the programs. However, they tend to show up in different places within the composition upon re-rendering. Highly frustrating...please help! 🙂 BTW, I love the products and the hard work to make them even better!
Hello, C++ plug-in developers! We've updated the PPro C++ Mac SDK to enable building for ARM targets. https://shared-assets.adobe.com/link/b4ba7933-7bb8-4c92-647a-70e94834b2c4 Note: We have _not_ updated the rest of the SDK, since our last public release. There's plenty of updating to be done, and we're working on it; we wanted to get the ARM-enabled SDK into your hands as soon as possible. Feel free to reach out directly, with any questions!

Hello, I am currently facing a lot of problem with Speech to Text in Premiere Pro Beta 15 and 15.1 after upgrade (My transcription is stuck forever at Uploading to server) so I want to downgrade it to Beta 14.9 but in my creative cloud app I can't see it in the older version list. 14.9 is the only version where my Speech to Text works perfectly and I need it a bit urgently for a project but not able to find the version anywhere. Can anyone please help? Thanks
Corner Pin is not available in the effect palette. I am working off a template that has several corner pins created for monitor replacements. I cannot use the program like this...to be fair, it isn't available on the Rosetta version either.
Hi,Does anyone know how I can become a beta tester for the speech to text function? Thanks,David
Today's 3/1/21 Update seems to be unresponsive after a few minutes of opening. It was fine yesterday but I should have been smarter not to update to today's build.
Steps to reproduce: 1. When using editing on the timeline, or exportin video for no apparent reason2. The laptop lid is closed and I am using an external HDMI monitor with a USB to HDMI hub Result: The system behaives as if the HDMI cable had been unplugged and makes the chime that a hardware change occured. The monitor reports no singal. Sometimes the system will come back after 20 seconds sometimes I have to unplug the hub and plug back in. The application doesn't appear to have crashed but this only happens when using Premiere.Expected: Video would work without crashing. System info Application: Premiere Pro (Beta) v15.1.0.10 OS: macOS v11.3.0, RAM: 8.00 GB, CPUs (logical): 8Apple Macbook Air with M1
1. Transcript does not always start, have to re-analyze to get it to start.2. Sometimes a transcript has been made, but window is black, going to "re-analyze transcript" will make text reappear temporarily.3. When editing, the transcript will return to the top, or won't display at where the indicator is on the timeline.4. Cannot merge or split transcripts on a bad split.5. Won't create two-line captions automatically.
PrPro's mult-monitor setup is a serious issue. And @Francis-Crossman17221443 @TrentHappel et al, talking to you. You can "easily" drag a panel to another monitor, size it by dragging sides/corners to just a tab bit less than the monitor's screen edges, add additional panels into it, and create a workspace. "Easily" as in a ton of mouse clicks and futzing. Taking several minutes, for EACH AND EVERY CUSTOM WORKSPACE. (Yea, I'm a bit ticked at this issue.) Then, of course, you have to be careful because if you go ONE PIXEL over onto another screen, Premiere will get cranky and do many odd things. We sort out those odd things back to this issue every once in a while on the main u2u forums. Several a month. Year after year. And if, Heaven forfend, you change your monitor layout diagram in Windows, now every freaking custom workspace you've got is WRONG as Premiere clearly takes the location from the main UI window in a relative sense, it does NOT recognize t
This new feature in AE is amazing: "Improved multi-monitor scale support: The user interface, especially on Windows, can be placed on or moved between monitors set to different display scales/resolutions, and look correct and sharper without having to relaunch the app. " It is something I've wanted in premiere for a very long time. I have two differnt DPI montirs and dragging a bin to a deparate montior the text and images are always funny.
It is impossible to right click and change label color on caption track item. It seems to only be possible by selecting captions along with an audio or video track item and then right clicking and changing lables.
Is the Export transcript option menu item not complete yet? On a mac when you are in the Transcript Text menu and want to export a script via the menu item Export transcript You get a Save As file name that is called .prtranscipt.prtranscriptIf you don't change the file name, you get the following warningIf I change the file extension name to a .txt file you get the following warningSo I choose to Use.prtranscript and the resulting exported file is not a text readable file with information I can use.I know I can export plain text from the other menu option, but what is the function of this feature that doesn't work right now?
everything about the caption track and its items looks like it should be able to be manipulated the same way audio video tracks are, and your documentation states that they can be. Is it possible to work towards this?
Trying out the new transcript feature. I get Premiere Pro to transcribe my sequence, but there are definitely text changes required. I attempt to copy-paste the correct text from MS Word by double-clicking into the respective transcribe window, but the originally transcribed text will not change. Sometimes it will be replaced with the text <type your caption here> but I still cannot overwrite this with my new text.
I intuitively expect extend, ripple and trim keyboard functions to affect active caption track items just like they affect active video and audio track items.
Dear Adobe: I'm having trouble troubleshooting the program as when I uploaded a video to test, I can't get the playhead to move, I can hear the audio but on the timeline, I see no movement in the timeline? Before the error message read "audio and video clock out of sync in adobe player"But now the error message disappears but still have the same problemNot sure how to go about addressing the problem of the beta app and required technical assistanceso I may be able to test the speech to text feature: Here's a list of what I tried that didn't solve the problem.1) restart the computer,2) restart premiere pro.3) switch to a single display monitor,4) Clear and delete the media cache file5) charge audio hardware settings. Again The video still won't play on the timeline, the playhead bar won't move but I can hear the audio loud and clear. I've attached a video to demo the problem for your convenience. Please advise. Thanks!!!!
Dear Engineer. When reading EOS R6 C-log file (FHD 23.9fps) with v15.1.0.10, only audio is handled. It did not occur with the EOS R C-log file. (V14. ??. ??)
Merge captions feature stopped working
I'm using the Beta on Mac Mini M1, 16GB RAM. I exported video using H264 with AAC sound, and the output had a strange sound to it, like the audio was far away, and mono-mixed-down or something. Switching to MPEG audio got rid of the issue, so that's my temporary workaround.
Hey! Seems the 'merge captions' function no longer works since the last Beta update.
I got an update notification on my HP Z8 Workstation to upgrade the NVideo (P5000 Quadro Card) to a new driver set. Enterprize 461.72 RTX/Quadro. I did and it casued great issues with Premiere... I receved an incompatibility report and the program crashed. I rolled back the driver to 460.89 and all seems well again. I also had to go back and reconfigure graphics setup using NVIDIA control panel. Why is NVIDIA so difficult! I am never going to use their graphics cards in future Workstations.Any other input from the Adobe Community???
