I purchased PE2018 almost a year ago and have been pretty satisfied with the capabilities for my hd video. I have a bunch of older Hi8 analog video tapes from the 90s to mid 2000. The camera shot video in 4:3. I have had an Elgato video capture device for a little over a week. The main issue I have with it or with the software for it is that the video capture size in the software is 640 x 480. As long as I watch the captured video at that ratio the picture looks about what I expect from the camera. If I try to watch the video at maximum screen size on my computer it loses quality. I can't seem to find any information on the video camera's video output resolution. Does anyone have a better equipment recommendation for video capture of old analog tapes?
Hello, without any change in my system I now get this msg on startup to update my nvidia driver - which I did just in case to no effect. How can I solve this problem please? Cheers
I am using premier elements and I cannot hear audio from any of my clip. I even recorded audio and I still cannot hear any audio.[Moved from Photoshop Elements to Premiere Elements... Mod]
I have updated from Premiere Elements 15 to version 20. But in version 20, all videos in the Strips workspace will show Strips See screenshot. How do I get rid of them?
I've been experiencing problems with this product for a while. Example: YouTube is unable to process the video. The full video is not transferred. The full video is transferred but there's missing audio, etc. At this point in time, my main problem is getting a message after rending but before transfer that says it can't connect to my social accounts (or some similar wording) and I can try later. This never works. I am planning to try to save the video to an external hard drive and them upload to YT through YT itself unless anyone has an idea of why this is happening. Would appreciate any feedback. Thanks in adance.
PROBLEM: We see no way to drill-down to the frame in a video that has been identified as a face by Organizer Elements face analysis. BACKGROUND: Identifying faces in photos in Organizer Elements is fairly straight forward, however, it is less so for videos. We are assuning that Premiere Elements is likely analyzing each frame of a video in order to identify people, correct? If so, how do we drill-down to the specific frame to enlarge it so we can positively identify the person. If this is possible, can we also manually identify people who were not identifyed by the automated face analysis (much like in photos)?
I do some hockey gopro videos and they last > 1hr long and I just got a stand alone mic. Is there a way to attach the video and audio tracks to the voice tracks so cuts go all the way through all 3 so I dont have to manually click and cut the voice channel too?
Hi,I have project in PE 15 on local C: drive and decided to continue editing it on the external backup hard drive that has much bigger memory capacity. PREL file on the external drive correctly shows the new location of the project files. However when I double click on the PREL file to open the project it starts running PE but hanging and does not retrieve anyting to the time line.I know I can open the project and make needed changes on the C: drive where it was initially developed, but C: drive is almost completely full... I hope there is a way to finish the project in a different location. Thanks. Lev.
I have been using this program importing and creating video files with no issues. However been I now open any video file the video file appears fragragmented, breaking up with horizontal noise lines, see attached screen shot. I have un-installed the product, rebooted and installed the software again and the problem still exists. I am running Windows 10 on a laptop. As stated the software was working successfully on this machine for a number of months. Has anyone got any ideas what the issue is please? Thanks in advance, Alan.
I have been using Adobe Premiere Elements for several weeks. A few days ago I started seeing an error message when I launch the program. See screenshot "Premiere Elements Open Error" attachment. The error says "Unable to create a project at default location. Please give write permissions to the 'Documents' folder or save project at different location." I opened Properties on the Documents folder then opened the Security tab then clicked the Advanced button. I see that my user account (Don) on the computer is the Owner and also has FULL PERMISSION. I then checked the "Replace all child object permissions entries with inheritable permission entries from this object" box and clicked the Apply button then OK then OK. Now I KNOW that I have full permission on the Documents folder and everything under it. If I click on the OK button then I see what is depicted in the "Premiere Elements Save Location" screenshot attached here. Since that should work after the changes I made above I click
If I normalise a clip in PE 2020 then volume level is set to -96db (i.e. silent) on most tracks when running PE 2020 under MacOS Catalina. Any tracks that have been recorded e.g. on an iPhone or other mobile phone do this as do tracks such as an imported YouTube clip. Is this a known fault or am I missing a trick here?
Hi all, I'm trying to render an ultrawide 3440 x 1440 (21x9) video to upload to youtube but elements doesn't seem to have an option to do so or am i missing something? On video settings the aspect ratio seems to be locked, and when finalizing my project and selecting custom render settings, i select the aspect ratio I want 3440 x 1440, however this leaves black bars all around my video thank you for your help!
Is there a way to set a template for onscreen text titles? So every time I put text on the screen I don't have to change all the settings so they match, one to another?I'm doing a short video where I try many different versions of something and have 30-40 of these, so it'd be nice to not have to re-select font, style, and color of the text every time.
I am usuing Adobe Premier Element 2020 and I want to add Hindi language text, just like you add English text to a video frame. How do I add Hindi fonts to text editor? Does this version of Adobe supports other languages?I tried copying text with ? mark at the end of the sentence in Hindi language and tried to paste it, but only ? mark displayed.Thanks.Baal Bhagat
Premiere elements was running fine this morning, however when I attempted to reopen it this afternoon to continue editing it refused to launch. I have now reinstalled it twice in an attempt to rectify the problem, but to no avail, as well as all of the suggested troubleshooting tips that I could find online. I tried launching the programme through terminal, and this error message is displayed: AdobeCrashReporterInitialize: executionTime = 0.012050 seconds <4385725888> <PreRegistation> <5> Putting Installed Locales sent to AMT with Order <4385725888> <DebugDatabase> <0> Exception caught when reading Debug Database File ("0x12c7d7f30"): Error reading past end of file: '@0' Does anyone know of a fix for this? Thank you!
I am attempting to edit and burn home movies to discs. When I used the Film Reel stock adobe asset, it would tell me that portions of the menus were overlapping. After moving all assets that I could see that were overlapping, I saved the Iso file and burned the movie to a disc. When I put the disc into my PS4 all menu options were selected and I could not navigate the menu like I could when simulating it in Premiere elements. I tried using a different stock asset, "Secret Agent" and it didn't tell me that anything was overlapping, but after burning and putting it in the PS4 it was no longer a supported disc. I really liked the Film Reel asset, so if I could get some advice on how to fix all the menu option being selected, I would appreciate it. Thank you.
I am a new user to Premier Elements and would like to make a video for announcing something. I would like to use many small clips and put them together with transitions. I am using an iPhone 8 to take the videos. When I download the video to the organizer everything is fine. What I want to know is - Can I edit each video, save them edited, and then put them on the tieline and add transitions, or do I have to complete the edits(trim and pan and zoom) all on the timeline at one sitting? Thanks is advance for any help!
I get a 404 Error Page when trying to activate the MPEG2 Component in Premiere Elements 14 for Windows
Had to reinstall from original discs. Now get an error message when rendering. Activate Component. MPEG2. Copy serial number. Follow link, paste, copy unlock code and paste in original pop up. Trouble is the link is no longer active and gets diverted to Adobe home page. Help desk cannot help and advised I should try the forums for the answer. Or buy the upgrade. I'm only an enthusiastic amateur and really need the upgraded version.
I have a 4k video I recorded from an iphone 8 , using an app called 'ProMovie'....I sent the file to my pc for editing in Adobe Elements which I recently bought and am very new to. The video looks fine and dandy when played back in any media player on the pc, but when I load it into Adobe Elements for editing, etc, it appears to have ever so slightly slowed the video down. It becomes VERY evident when my hands are moving fast or there is faster movement on the screen. It's almost like the old days when you had a really slow computer that couldn't keep up with streaming or processing video. My system specs are pretty good though, AMD RX 570 video card, AMD Ryzen 2700X CPU , Asus Rog Strix 450-F motherboard, 16 gigs of memory....clearly the system is NOT the reason. What was really disheartening, was when I exported the project, thinking maybe that slight slowdown in the video would not occur in the final output, I was disappointed to see the resulting file had the slowed down
I'm on Premiere Elements 2020 (I didn't see a community for it). I have some footage shot on a 10+ year old Canon Vixia HF S100. The camera frame setting was 60i. The clips are MPEG, codec is AVCHD H.264 4:2:0 and a frame rate of 29.97. When I play this footage in my previewer (Not Adobe) it plays beautifully. When I preview it in my timeline, it's jerky as hell and seems to be at 70% speed. I've tried the following project pre-sets:AVCHD 1080p 60Full HD 1080i 30 HD 1080i 30 (60i)Tried all as drop-frame and non drop-frameThey all seem to reset to HD 1080i as soon as I play any clip in the timeline. It looks really bad and seems more than just a bit slow in playback. Is there chance of using this footage? Is there something that Premiere Pro could do to address this that Elements can't do?
Does anyone know if Premier Elements 15 has a setting for cinematic widescreen beyond 16 X 9? The video imports fine, but pan and zoom only applies to 16:9, unless there's a way to change the settings that I'm not seeing. Thanks
On my desktop computer, the iphone .mov files imported into Premiere Element 2020 playback to fast, as if they are time-lapsed. They import fine on my laptop. There must be a setting that's off but I can't change the video settings because they are greyed out.
I've already purchased the Adobe Elements 20 bundle which includes Photoshop and Premiere. But, when I click on the download link, neither of them will let me download them. I paid already, but I can't even download the programs. Any help?
