Every now and then my program loses contact with the mouse when I'm working with the transitions. What can be the problem?

The Project Archiver does not seem to work properly. Not only does it not cut unused assets it seems to be adding assets that have not been attached to the current file. I downloaded the trial version of 2020 and this does the same thing.I checked the assets using the Project Assets drop down, but the archive has picked up pictures, music and video clips that are not shown on the dropdown list.Any ideas? Peter 

Hi Windows 10Premiere 2020 I created a video project in Premiere 2020. It wont burn directly to me DVD burner but can run to ISO file and burn that to DVD. That accomplished, I am trying to make a version of this video to play in Ireland (PAL). Do I have to make a new video to accomplish this? Premiere can't convert the completed project? If that is the case, what settings do I select in PALFull HD 1080i 25Full HD 1080i?? What is the difference?Thanks for helping. Roy H

Just purchased Premier Elements 2020 (MacOS) to create green screen videos. Help and how-to instructions show Keying as having Green, Blue, and Non-Red, but they do not appear in the Keying panel for MacOS. Is that correct? Any indication if the feature is coming (to MacOS) soon?If it really isn't to be implemented in MacOS, I'll need to return the Elements bundle.

I saved a video in progress to my OneDrive cloud.  When it was saved it was removed from my computer.  When I open Premiere Elements v.14 now it says that the media is offline.  I have found rendered files but when I try to import them I get "This type of file is not supported, or the required codec is not installed." I can't figure out how to get the video back intact.  I’m not totally computer illiterate, but I am way out of my league here.  Can anyone help me from having to starting this project over again?

I love those boxes that sometimes pop up while Premiere Elements is loading because I'm always full of ideas for improvements. I've now got way too many to squeeze into the little text box. Here they are:When I'm adding a transition between clips, if I click on the duration up arrow, the duration goes from 1 second to 2, but then jumps to 4. This is very annoying. If I want a 3-second duration, I have to either the down arrow to go back to 3, or click very slowly to make sure I get the number I want. If I want 4, I'll select it. I wonder if this feature was meant to save time for people wanting to get to higher numbers, but really, it just makes selecting 3 seconds more time consuming. I'm not a fast clicker, but even I can get to 4 on my own with needing to skip 3.Make the beat marker detector work. I have been trying to edit a Go Pro 7 clip using Adobe Premier Elements 2019After importing the clip and placing it in the timeline everything seems to work fine, video and audio playback are in sync However, as soon as I RENDER the video, both the video and audio fall out of sync, the video begins to weirdly morph where it slows down and speeds up randomly while the audio remains intact (at least I think so)(Also I have tried handbreak and it does not help) Can anyone help me? Footage properties (file type mp4) VideoFrame width       2704Frame height      1520Data rate             60004kbpsFrame rate          50.00 fps AudioBit rate               189 kbpsChannels            2 (stereo)Audio sample rate   48 kHz 

Hi,I am simply trying to add a classic text box to a video in Adobe Premiere Elements 18. I can easily create the text and modify it but I would like the textbox not to be transparent but colored. When clicking on the "background" button" nothing happens. I have been trying for more than one hour and looking for answers on the web but no results. What am I doing wrong ? In the image below, nothing happens when I am clicking on the backgroung button ("fond" in French).Many thanks in advance,Bruno

PROBLEM:  It seems that, after a few weeks, the face analysis feature is still processing media.  Initially, the face analysis process was so intensive, it appeared that the Adobe Elements Organizer program was frozen or unresponsive.  However, Windows Task Manager indicated the program was still running.  Today, face analysis seems to still be running, weeks later, even without the addition of new photos.  The face analysis, over time, has become less intrusive, but we still have the following questions: How long does it take to process the media?  Is there a rule of thumb associated with face recognition?  We are using a Dell Intel Core i9 @ 3.10GHz desktop computer, with 32Gb of memory, and an nVidia GeForce RTX 2070 graphics card.Is there a way to monitor the overall progress?  Occasionally, we see a prompt in the lower status bar that might indicate XXX of XXX videos processed, but don't know where we can go to see these statistics as n

Hi! I'm working on a time sensitive project. I have a MacBook Air, which I know already puts me at a disadvantage with working on video editing...but I'm still hoping you can help me.  Parts of my video footage go to a blank dark green screen during the playback, or when I'm trying to edit the video itself on the timelines. I've rendered like crazy. Some clips are fine, some aren't. Does anyone know why and how I can fix this? Thank you so much! 

I am trying to edit 4k go pro footage, when I try to reverse the clip my computer cant render it and drops almost all the frames. I feel like my pc should be able to handle simply reversing the clip? my computer:Ryzen 3800x]16gb ramRTX 2080

Hi,I am asking this question for a student, so I don't have all the background.  She said she keyframed the rubberband to reduce volume over an area in a clip and only one channel responded.  Both channels were working OK, but the volume was reduced in only one.  Is there a way to accidently lock one channel in PRE?  Has anybody run into this before?  Thanks.Zaffer

I'm struggling to figure out how to import and edit 4K footage from my GoPro Hero 7. I keep getting "Generic error has occurred" or something similar to that message. I am just testing the go pro for now. The 2.4k works, but wanted to use the camera to its fullest. I'm not the best at understanding all of the options. Maybe I don't want to record in 4K for another reason. Any help is appreciated. 

I ran Premiere Elements 12 on Windows 7, 8.1, and 10 since 2014. For Windows 10 I believe it was installed on 8.1 and converted fine. During the last round of substaintial Windows 10 updates Premiere Elements stopped working and I could not open the editor. Tried compatibility modes for Windows 7 and 8, tried reinstalling, used ccleaner to clear the registry, and tried all suggesttions in this thread. Crashes at "ImporterQuickTime.prm" everytime, when attempting to get to the editor. Now running the trial version of Premiere Elements 2020. It works and seems familar enough to get started. Will check Windows 10 updates for compatability mode fixes at the end of the trial or just upgrade.It is perfectly reasonable to upgrade after six years. That said I am still running Macromedia Fireworks MX 2004 on the same system. 

Hello, My premiere 11 film consists of more than 200 files. Elements says: media offline. I know where they are: in different directories/folders on a portable hard disk. Problem is it takes forever to relink every file one by one. I am looking for a way to do it quicker. Best is all at once. Or at least do it folder per folder (only 4 folders).   thank you. 

PROBLEM:  When analyzing faces in Adobe Elements Organizer, we cannot open the media (video or picture) for selected face by double-clicking. BACKGROUND:  Not sure why, but sometimes we can open the media for the face by double-clicking the face and sometimes we cannot.  What we suspect is that face recognition may be running in the background and is not allowing us to open the media for that face.  If this is the case, how do we stop face recognition from running so we can select the media for the desired face? Thank you for any help.

In Premiere Elements 2020, many clips can not be stabilized because the progress indicator text just does not get past "Initalization...". At some clips, Stabilization works within seconds. On a 30 seconds long clip (FullHD 30fps) I've waited for thirty minutes, without passing the "Initialization" state. So the issue cannot be because of long clips. There is no difference whether I pick "Fast" or "Detailed".My PC is running Windows 10 and is able to run PE fluently. Premiere Elements is installed on its latest version, as there are no updates available (Version 18.0 (20200130.daily.2070236)).I already tried a reboot and a restart of PE, and tried to remove and add Stabilization again, without results. I appreciate any help. 

Hi I have several clips on my timeline. I'd like to move up all of them up (I'm mean the video itself) by for instance 200 pixels but I don't know how. I can easily move them up separately using 'Motion' but I couldn’t move them all together. Adjustment layer can’t help here as it is moving applied effects but not video window. Any idea? Thanks

Hi, using APE-12 on  Mac. 10.14.6. Importing jpeg photo files at 4992 x 2808. Elements imports files and creates a movie with the same file sizes. However, there are no options under "share" to export as a 4k movie. Is this even possibvle with APE-12? Thanks!

Hi,I want to add Thai subtitles to a video I'm making. I have tried cut and paste from google translate and that just showed up as boxes with a x through it. I tried the same with character map and got the same result. I have also tried changing the font as I read that can make a difference but still no success.Is it possible to create Thai subtitles with Premiere Elements?Thanks

Had elements installed on my computer. Computer crashed during a storm. Sent computer to ACER to be fixed. Got computer back, no elements. Is there a way I can contact adobe to get it reloaded? I originally bought and installed it.

Good day all. I purchased my Adobe Premier Elements 7 and 8 some 10years ago and my computer just died last week requiring me to reinstall this. I have the software but my serial numbers are not available on my profile anymore. Is there anyway to retrieve this from Adobe and why would it be removed from my profile? thank you for any help

I have tried many different ways but I am unable to create a DVD ISO file and save it to my hard drive.  I have over 3 terrabytes available but the message states (insufficient space available).  The settings show only 3.7 GB space needed.Has anyone else had this problem and how can I fix it please!Thanks

Dear Friends Okay I am making slow progress on premiere elements and this morning I am trying to understand how to apply the animations to the text. As you see from the screen shot I have an animation picked for the text I am creating but the apply option does not seem to highlight. I would like to use at least a few of the many options available am=nd am perplexed as to what I am doing wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
