Premiere Elements

"Https://www.adobe.com/products/premiere-elements/tech-specs.html" says "Intel Core i7 and 16GB RAM required for XAVC-S (4K editing)". But is it OK with "AMD Ryzen 7 3700X"? "Https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/system-requirements.html" says that the equivalent AMD is OK. I feel like I can do it. How is it actually?

I am using Premier Elements 13 on a 15-month-old iMac with Mac-OS Mojave 10.14.6 installed.Last night it was all working fine.  This morning some aspects of PE are not working. For example, I cannot select or move images in the screen above the timeline.  If I click on the Applied Effects button to the right of the screen only a blank white panel appears. There is some evidence that the computer underwent a restart during the night although I had not planned on one.  In fact, when the usual reminder appeared yesterday about updates being available, I clicked on the 'Remind me tomorrow' option. In any case, it is now no longer practical to edit a video.  Any ideas what can have gone wrong and what I can do to remedy it?  Could Time Machine help (I've never used it before)? Should I reintall PE13 or buy an updated version?  Try anything else?  My thanks for any help you can offer.

I am trying to import a video with sound that is of the file format (.mp4). It is around 18 minutes long and of a large file size. I imported the video, but no audio file showed up underneath it like they usually do. I was patient and waited a while for the audio file to show up, but nothing. If I play it using windows media player, I am able to hear the audio. However, when I import it into Premiere Elements 15, there is no audio file at all. Is there something I am doing wrong? I couldn't seem to find help on this anywhere else, so I apologize if it is indeed a repost, but I googled it and nothing came up. Thank you!

I’m doing what I feel might be a complicated thing for Premiere. Or at least, I’m thinking that because I’m starting to get freezing and other problems again. This happened with my old computer, but since I have gotten an SSD with plenty of room as well as the regular good hard drive, I’ve not had that problem. I’m thinking that maybe I should be rendering, though I’m not sure what that is for. I dimly remember it from a year or two ago. I’m doing pic in pic for several clips in my song—perhaps about 5. So my first  question: if I have put in the crop tool into one of my clips—in order for it to fit better with another clip on the other  side of the screen—and I later want to go back to that area to crop it a little differently, I can’t seem to access those cropping properties. So, what I’ve been doing is simply re-dragging the cropping tool back into the clip, which makes the cropping properties visible on the R side of the program view. Perhaps I’m introducing too many

I can see how to change most keyboard shortcuts, but I cannot find the shortcut to change how I zoom in the timeline. I really want to change this from + and = to the system I am used to in other software which is shift+ctrl+ mouse scroll. How do I do that please? Is it possible to search for keyboard shortcuts that I want to change? Thanks very much.

Can  Accusonus ERA Bundle work with Premiere Elements to reduce echos on the audio channel of videos? If not, can you suggest other solutions?

Hi, I just get Premiere Elements to make some quick and nice video, and got some really bad issue with my second project...When I try to look work with a simple project, it make my whole PC freez. I can do nothing but hardreboot it. All the background soft stop working, so this is not just a GUI freez, but a crash that keep display the last image somehow. My project is very simple. All new, I added one video in media, then droped it into the timeline. That's all. That's a 142Mo file, 1280/720 25FPS video, 26min32sec long. So nothing huge. I did nothing else than importing this video into the project and the timeline. No effect, nothing.Premiere Elements seem up to date.Working on a windows 10 pro, up to date to.My GPU driver are also up to date.(I installed this windows 2days ago, so it's still pretty clean) Hardward side, I'm working with a i9-9900K, a RTX 2080Super and 64Go of ram. I created a slide show in Elements 15.  The slide show did not render.  When I click on render nothing happens.  I bought and installed Elements 20.  When I open the slide show in elements 20, I still have the same problem.  I have Windows 10.  Can anyone help?

In older versions of Premiere Elements (probably 2018 or earlier), I would be create multiple presets in custom video export secion. In 2019 or 2020, I do not see that opportunity. This is what I have now:But I cannot even create new presets in Advanced Settings, even after creating one, other option disappears:  Please suggest what I am doing wrong. I badly need this to be fixed.

I've been capturing VHS footage through Elements, which has created one file from the whole tape. With mini DV footage, when I try to do the same, it is saving as lots of different files as opposed to just one big file. Is there a way to capture as just one clip? I've turned off  'split scenes' which I thought would resolve, but still capturing as multi-clips.

I can hear my audio track when playing the timeline, but the audio is  missing when I export. I only have this problem with a clip that I have time-shifted (slo-mo).I've tried exporting in many different ways but it seems that Premiere doesn't find that audio when rendering and exporting. GORDON

Öffnet man die mp4-Datei aber nach dem Exportieren, zittert das ganze Video (in der Waagerechten) gleichmäßig leicht auf und ab.Am Ausgangsmaterial liegt es nicht, denn im Rohmaterial liegt dieses Zittern noch nicht vor. Kann mir jemand helfen den Fehler zu finden? Danke!!

Never mind.  I figured it out

I recently upgraded from APE 2019 to 2020.  When I'm making a video I always use Expert mode, and I use quite a few still images along with some video.  I like to animate the still images by using the motion function and panning and zooming.  I almost always add the still images in full resolution so I can do that.  In the 2019 version when I would add the image to the time line it always showed only the center portion of the image and I would use the motion function to bring it to the size and location I wanted.  Making my first video today in the 2020 version I noticed that the image displays with the complete image filling the video preview screen and the resolution for my video 1920 X 1080 and the images are usually over 5000 by 3500 or even larger. Then if I want to animate or adjust to get the full image into the video instead of changing the image from 100% down to somewhere around 30%, It says it is at 100% and I have to adjust it up even as much as 250

Hi everyone,I made modifications on jpg files. I can open and read every files (originals and modified) on my mac, I saved them on a dvd (did not open) and on a external disc to read them on a tv and on a pc but the modified files won't open. Does anyone have a solution ?Thank you very much 

Any ideas how to use scene detection? I have a 10+ home videos from the 90's that I have coverted and now have videos files for. Ideally I want to use Premier elements to detect the scene changes and show these seperate clips in the organiser so I can curate videos. I'm uing Premier Elements 2020 So far I've tried Auto-analyze in Premier Elements, this splits into way too many seperate clips (it's looking for many features not just scene changes) AND these appear in the Editor project Assetts only and not in organiser I've found 2 workarounds:1) Manaualy find each scene change,move the workarea bars to start and end and then export each clip with option highlighted "Share WorkArea bar only" - this is very manaul and takes ages2) Use DaVinci Resolve (free) which has a scene detection function AND ability to export timeline as seperate clips Hope there is a way to (semi) automtically do this in Premier Elements as this must be a fairly common use case for the product?

I have Premier elements 13 and I am considering upgrading to 15.  In Premier elements 12 there was a feature Auto Scene Detection.  I didn't find it in 13 and I am wondering if it is in 15.  So far I have not found it.

I just purchased Premiere Elements 2018, and from what I can gather, it does not have automatic scene detection when importing video.  A Google search revealed a program from Wondershare called Filmora, which has auto scene detection.  My question is, even if I use third party software like Filmora, how do I get the series of clips into Premiere Elements?  Do I have to save each individual clip as a separate file in Filmora, then import all the separate clips into Premiere Elements?

I've had many versions of Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements from version 8 through version 14.  I recently wanted to upgrade to 2019 but was unable to convert my version 14 catalog due to a schema conversion error ("schema conversion failed, aborting" as reported in the conversion log).Assuming that the problem is in the catalog file itself, and being somewhat technically inclined, I started digging into the catalog internals using the freely available "DB Browser for SQLite" tool.  I noticed many broken foreign keys in the database, which has lead me to suspect that the problem may be related to video scenes that the auto-analyzer has identified in my video files.It used to be (at least in version 8 and I'm sure many subsequent versions) that the organizer had a background thread that would analyze all imported media files and apply smart tags to help suggest quick fixes for photos, as well as to automatically identify video scenes in a single video file and then spli

Dear community, I am looking for the perfect render settings for YouTube with Premiere Elements.The raw videos I cutted are in 1920x1080 with 30fps (more information in screenshot). The raw videos are greenscreen videos, where i use videomerge. I want to render it perfect optimized for a 1080p YouTube Video. At the moment the videos look blurred after redering and manually upload to YouTube. What exact settings are perfect for first export the video and then manually upload to YouTube for a sharp result? Thank you very much for your help. 🙂 (Answer in german okey too)

HelloI now I use PE 2020 -  version 18.0I imported my video file in premier elementsbut when i play the video i have not audio , no song with the video. When I listen the video with VLC or any version player audio, the song is okThe file is .movThanks - Before i used version 14 is was fine 

I am using elements 15 with Windows 10.I am trying to reorganize my photos.If I delete all the photos currently showing in elements organizer, will I loose the photos?I have most of them on a separate portable drive.

How do I re-establish the path between the folder where my resource video clips reside and my premiere project after I move the resource folder? Example... I have a folder on my desktop. I add files/assets to my premiere project from this folder. After I have created the project (not published) I move the resource folder and group all of the related folders/files into a single location. When this is done the path between my project to the resource files no longer exists and the video pane in my project is now red. Any help is appreciated.  

Hey adobe community, i am actually using Premiere Elements 20 (V.18.0). If I try to expert the cutted video with "online", choose YouTube, quality high, all is okey. But after clicking "Freigabe starten" (german (english "export") absoloutly nothing happens. Just a gray emthy window showes up. On another comouter there is the same problem. Anybody knowes the issue and maybe has a solution for it? Thank you.
