Premiere Elements

Ok so I am testing this out and so far liking it. Bit tricky but getting there.. anyway.. google shows me that in previous versions you could pull in your FB friends list. I have a ton of pics from  MMA that I dont know all the people and would love to pull them in.... so where do you do this in Organizer 2020?thx

Elements v14, Win7 64bit. Can someone explain what the "mic sensitivity" actually does?  From reading another older thread here, I gather it is not as intuative as one might think.  What is the practical difference between all the way on and all the way off?

I've used Adobe Premiere Elements 2018 for quite some time now but just got the 2020 version. I edited a video and saved it the same way I always have except this time I was unable to upload it to YouTube. I went into the location where I save all my videos and this particular one's "type" is set as "Adobe Premiere Elements Project" where as all my other videos from the 2018 model save as "MP4 File" and can upload to YouTube. Am I saving my new video incorrectly?

I have imported a 2.5 gb .avi file of 8mm film that was scanned by a professional movie film company.  There is no sound with the .avi file.  I can only work with my project for a minute or two and then it freezes and I have to reboot.  I have noticed that the Generating Peak File info box in the lower right stops at the same percentage every time and coincides with the freeze.  The same things happens on two separate computers. I do not want sound with this video. How can I stop generating a PEAK file or stop freezing the project?

So back in May of 2018 there was a deal for a lifetime membership to adobe premiere 2018, in a one time purchase. I did so but recently my program has been trying to get me to re-buy another subscription. When i open up my product it tells me to sing in, then to buy a subscription or do a 30 day trial, i skip and go to license client, since i already have a code. When i enter my code it then proceeds to sign me back aout and repeat the process, over, and over again. This is a blast from the past.  I have an old computer with Windows 10, Adobe PE 8, and ability to connect via firewire.   I have a Sony HDR-HC3 Handycam that I have been using successfully to capture some old HD tapes.   I also  have about 10 tapes that I believe were  taken with a previous Sony standard definition video cam.   They play fine on the HDR-HC3 but I cannot get them to capture so I can edit them.  The camera is recognized, the "Capture" lights up.  It seems to work for a few seconds after I press capture but nothing is actually captured and then it pauses.  I am hoping this is just a Settings problem but I have been playing around with various options to no avail.  Anyone have any ideas?P.S.  I also have a brand new Windows computer with PE 20 but no firewire connection.   I suppose I could go to the trouble of having a Firewire connection installed, but I am thinking that may not solve the pr

I get the following when I try to upload to YouTube.  If I try to export to computer elements splits my video into 2 files .aac the audio track and .m4v the video track neither of which I can play on the computer or upload to YouTube.Need some help Thanks

After yers of uploading the mp4 output from Premeire Elements to Vimeo, it stopped working. I tried reinstalling Premeire Elements 2020, but the problem persisted. I found running the mp4 files that I had produced using Premeire Elements through Handbrake produced mp4 files that I could upload to Vimeo.  I have also given up on trying to use the export to Vimeo feature since it doesn't work either and doesn't leave me any mp4 file that I can run through Handbrake. After many years of using Premeire Elements I don't want to switch to another product, but will do so if nedcessary to find a product that can export directly to Vimeo.    

i bought the 2020 adobie photoshop and adobie Premiere i put in the code i got when checkout got to the download page photo shop is working fine but when ever i try to download adobie permiere it pops up as photoshop and say sorry you allready have this app installed all i want it my adobie permiere so i can edit its sad that the one that i use the least is acctually working! any help would be helpful    title edited by Mod

I am attempting to create text and use the animation feature.  I have selected the text>Normal Text on the tool bar at the top.  Created my text on a separate video channel above the main channel and it shows fine.  I've been able to select a style, select fonts, change color, size, etc. . . . everything I want to do but when I open the Animate tab and try to add an animation, such as "drop in by character", or anything else, the apply button is ghosted and does not work.  I've also tried dragging my choice over onto the text clip on the time line.  All I get is one of those circles with the line through it indicating that it's failing to do what I want.Can someone tell me what I'm missing here?  Please!Thanks for any help with this.

Is there a way to remove these two tracks? Thanks 

Hello, I have been having this problem for a LONG time. I cannot figure out how to solve it. Whenever I go into Adobe Premier Elements 13, and I move the scroll thing that you move to get to different parts of the clip, it freezes, and says not responding. I have tried re downloading adobe, but it does not work. Whenever I call costumer support they say I have to start a chat with some adobe worker, and then he says he cannot help me with this version, and he sends my here. THAT IS NOT HELPING!!! I normally (weekly) import mts files for editing. This time I am trying to work with an MP4 file. The video plays normally in the time line, but the audio is very slow. (It is rendered.)     Title edited by mod

Hi, habe einen Vorspann als Projekt erstellt - und einen Abspann als eigenes Projekt.Nun möchte ich diese in das Videoprojekt integrieren. Wie mache ich das?Da der Vorspann und Abspann recht viel Arbeit war, will ich das nicht alles Schritt für Schritt neu erstellen in jedem Video.Bisher habe ich es immer so gemacht das ich ein Video aus allen Projekten erstellt habe, und diese dann nur noch zusammengefügt. Finde ich aber Blödsinnig irgendwie. Oder gibt es keine andere Möglichkeit?Mache das schon einige Jahre so - beschäftige mich jetzt aber etwas intensiver mit den Feinheiten.Da komme ich auch zur 2. Frage:Ich habe das erste mal ein Video erstellt mit Virtualbox, die *.webm Dateien erstellt.Diese können in AdobePremiereElements leider nicht verarbeitet werden.Lade ich sie in den Kegel (VLC-Player) kann ich sie zwar in eine mp4 konvertieren - es werden aber immer nur wenige Sekunden vom Anfang erstellt. Würde gerne auf weitere Programme verzichten wenn ich unter W10H etwas onboard habe

Hi, I am a Premiere elements user on Mac for ages.As i am looking for a new Imac i wonder if using a GPU such as the AMD Radion 580X will improve the rendering speed.So does Premiere Elements 2020 uses GPU or only CPU please ? Kind regards, Serge

please help me i have a problem with adobe premiere element 2020 orce that i make a green background it puts me log saying to me at low level exception occurred (thank you in advance)   

Is there a way to export only selected clips from a bunch of clips on the timeline?  I understand how to select multiple clips, but when I go to Export, it wants to include all the clips on the timeline rather than just the ones I selected.  Can this be done in Premiere Elements (I have 2020)?

I was rendering a video, and for some reason, my mac restarted. My Premiere elements has not loaded since. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, removed all fonts and reinstalled, created a new user and installed, and it still will not load. Everything was running just fine before this. ideas?

I'm having this extremely frustrating problem. I was getting so far in editing a video, then I try to stabilize a frame, and it tells me that the frame size needs to match project settings or something similar.So I went to the adobe help forum to see how I could change my setting. They were all saying that I need to create a new project. This was already incredibly frustrating. So I go to create a new project and try again. No help. Then it says I need to change my setting from the beginning. So i'm searching all over the place to try and change my settings then I finally find Project settings under edit. Go to change but it wont let me. Then I googled some more, and am told that when I click the new project a 'dialogue box' of some sorts is supposed to appear and let me change the settings so I can already be prepared to change. But no matter how many times I start a new project no dialogue box is appearing! I currently have adobe elements 15. Where is this dialogu

I want to crop myself, while standing up singing, so that I can then have another scene around me. Thus, I want to rotate the crop lines from their landscape config to a more portrait view. I have tried and tried to rotate the crop lines, to no avail---thought I do remember once being able to do so. When I hit most of the rotation tools, the whole pic rotates, which is, of course, what I don't want to occur. I just want the crop lines to be more vertical, so I can just crop my body, get rid of the surrounding background in my video, and replace it with another background.I should add I did trying unclicking the box that allows the pic size to be changed in a uniform way. However, when I unclicked this and tried to change the vertical and horizontal lines independently, there was signif distortion of the image.Thanks.LNovik

I am trialling Premiere Elements 15 and for some reason I don't see any video in the preview it's just black.First, I had no video in the timeline (only audio), but all of sudden I have video in the timeline, but when I double-click to preview it, it is black. (Audio does come through though)I tried the same videos on Premiere Pro - and they work fine.The videos are .mp4, but they were converted from iMovie using Handbrake. They play fine through Windows Media Player and VLC.Any ideas?
