Premiere Elements

Can anyone advise me on this.I find it hard to believe that I can't buy a multi user license for this product as an educational facility.I've been informed that I can only buy a single user software option (potentially 2 users) for £86.56 and for a class of 20 I would need to buy 10 to 20 copies.Its not available on my Creative Cloud either, which I find frustrating.I teach at a media 6th form college and it would be useful to start the level 1 students off on elements and progress to Pro.Any thoughts or suggestions welcomed.

Hello,  recently I had purchased Photoshop and premiere elements 2018. And today I was going to work on a project and I had noticed that the files I had imported were coming out as a solid green box.The first couple of files were .mov files and they worked perfectly fine. But as soon as I went into my other .MOV files.It would be a solid green but would display the time but as soon as drag it into the time line it would blank with no video or audio.I thought my video was corrupted but I played the video file on QuickTime and VLC player just to double check and they worked perfectly fine.Just when I go to import the video into the project it just show them as a solid green box.So I don't want the problem could be.I recorded from a Atomos Ninja Blade and a Canon Mark III which the files from the Ninja Blade show up in green but not the files from the Canon camera.He a picture of what the desktop looks like when I import it.https://s22.postimg.cc/cdig64wnl/IMG_20180814_181135_520.jpg

When trying to add a motion text overlay, PE freezes up, at some point during the process. Every. Single. Time. I'm saving my file continually, and it's taking forever just to add motion text overlays to a 2 min. church announcement video. Is anyone else experiencing the same issue? I tried chatting with Adobe support, but after being left hanging for 20 min with no interaction from the support desk, I gave up! I'm running PE 2018 Version 16 on a Mac with High Sierra. Any help is appreciated!

I am finished making my video that is about 2 hours and 26 minutes, and when I try to share it into the YouTube option, it says that an error occurred and that I would need to "reduce the duration of my video". I am also choosing the "High Definition Video For Youtube 1920 X 1080" mode. Please help me find a way to save this. If i tried ti save it on the computer, I don't know which one to use, MPEG or PAL. So please help!!!

I want to start a Youtube channel and I need a good editing software. I've read a lot of good things about Adobe Premiere but there is no WAY I'm about to pay for that subscription service. I'm only a beginner so I probably wouldn't know how to use most of those tools anyway. I was reading something about someone not being able to add music to an earlier version of Premiere.I want to know if it is possible to add your own music, be it from SoundCloud, Amazon Music, or even iTunes, to videos before I consider buying it. HI folks.  Complete newb to Premiere Elements and most Adobe editing products.  I'm trying to learn a bit more when it comes to video editing so I was playing around a bit today.  One thing I absolutely do not want is compression of either video or audio.  I just have a couple large MP4 files that I want to chop up into smaller, separate MP4 files.  I'm fine splitting and cutting and everything but when I go to export there is a slider and even the "high" setting is compressing my audio.  How do I get Elements to just cut the file where I want and export without any quality loss?  Thank you.

I am trying to make a youtube video from content recorded via an elgato hd.I can start with a clip (hours long) make all the cuts i need to. (Due to previous issues I save new versions after every substantial edit) However once I try to add a small OBS clip for an audio intro or even another elgato clip the system crashes. Note: I have carried out these cuts before and the system has crashed.I have carried out my edits, saved and come back after a while, opened the project and the system crashes sometimes when the clip is added and sometimes just on its own.This issue is a real pain in the ass.Can anyone advise. Computer system is very capable of using the software.

HiI am using Adobe Premiere Elements 2018 and I like it very much.However, I have a question on a challenge that some of you might have already resolved.I have a MPEG Video (in "ts" format as it was recorded with a receiver from TechniSat) that has 2 english and 1 french audio streams.When I import the MPEG Video the french audio stream is loaded automatically (by default). I can then only edit the french version of the Video.How can I switch to the english audio stream?Regards

Hopefully an easy answer, but couldn't find it by searching the forum or online.  I get the error message, "This type of file is not supported, or the required codec is not installed" when trying to add the new GoPro 6 videos to Premiere.  I'm trying to add the videos by going through the Add Media, Files and Folders method with Premiere since the vids are now downloaded. I read a few posts about a "Handbrake" program, but don't currently have that installed.  The MP4 videos run fine on all Windows software, but I wasn't able to open it in Quicktime.  It opens fine in the GoPro Quik video editing software, but the reason I own Premiere is to edit videos.  I'm running windows 10 with a GEForce GTX 1060 video card if that matters and all software is up to date.  Thanks for any help you can provide.

As a newcomer to video editing, I just downloaded PE 2018 trial and installed it.  The program opens in full screen mode on my pc but will not shrink when I grab a corner of the application .  The screen just flashes and it goes back to full screen.  This seems a bit of a basic problem - never experienced it before with any other app.Does anyone know what could be wrong?

I committed the unforgivable sin of moving some files after I had created my project...and now I can't edit it.  Other than starting from scratch, is there any way to salvage all my hours of work editing the clips, audio, etc...????And I wish I could remember what the file was before, but I can't.

Hi.  First time questioner.  I find that though I can select Bold and Italic together, it changes ALL words in the title or subtitle.  I would like to keep everything Bold, but only Italicize foreign words to show that they are foreign and not mispellings?  How do I do this?Thank you very much.

Hi,   The starting 15 seconds of my video chops off when I import it into adobe premier elements. When I run it outside it runs fine. Anybody knows what is going on?

Well, not really for me, but for a friend whom I may be prepared to help. This friend, in his early 70s, will be working very much at an amateur level. I've seen some of his work (quite amateurish), and I may be prepared to help improve them because the stories are interesting. I've spent 20 minutes looking at the overview of Elements, but have come away feeling it's not for him. I'm hoping I'm wrong.He's been using a thing called iskysoft (?) and it's a bit flakey in his estimation. It's probably just him, though.I'll help him if Elements has certain similarities to Premiere Pro (which I'm quite experienced with), and if all those automated aspects of Elements can be avoided. I'm evaluating Adobe Premiere Elements 2018 and I want to do a simple audio crossfade between two clips like discriped in the documentation in the expert mode.But I can'rt place the transition manually in the center between the clips. It can be placed only either at the end of the first or the beginning of the second clip, it will not drop in the center.Even if I manually change the position via the popup to "center" it will not align.The same happens if I apply the standard transition to the entire track, all will be placed on the beginning of the right clip.In my example I use the quick time video format (h264) from my camera, but it will not work with other containers like mp4 as well.* it's a fresh install * restarting does not solve anything* using the other audio transition has the same problem* the video transition can be placed between the clips* it does not matter whether the transition is 1 or 2 seconds* the example clips are app. 20 seconds and one minute; but again it does

I produced a movie in Premiere Elements 15 and when I try to burn it to a DVD it produces an ISO file in my PC. How do I burn the ISO onto a DVD that will play on a DVD player and not just on my computer?

I recently purchased Premier Elements 2018 and I'm attempting to add several videos from my Samsing S8 to a project and export to a file with them all in the same mp4 video.I've tried exporting the video in every format up to 4K but the quality is always poorer than the original video. Could someone please tell me what settings I can use so that the output has the same nice clear quality that the original files have ?

I am trying to add narration to my video project. I have the editing in advanced mode and all the video and audio from my gopro comes through fine.I went through tutorials to find out how to "turn on" the microphone option for the program, and I plugged in the microphone to my desktop computer.I hit tools and narration and started talking then hit stop. I file went into my "project assets" and I moved it onto the time line (in the audio narration track)But it is way to soft. I can just hear that there was something recorded but I can not get the volume up.I tried increasing the volume at the microphone pop up box and I tried increasing the "yellow rubber band" on the audio track neither did anything to the volume.Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong or make a suggestion? Hi can someone please help me, im trying to edit a video and once i insert all my video files in to the program I highlight all the file and press to render them all and every time it just plays the whole project and doesnt render them, all files im using are filmed on a lumix dslr at 1080p and also when i try to use files from my phone iphone 7 it will not render them as well. please someone help resolve this because i dont want to have just wasted £130 on elements 2018 and have to buy premiere pro now i havnt had a chance to use this program yet!

I am working on a MacBook Pro and trying to save a project into a Window Media Player Friendly file.   Is there a way I can do this, without jumping out a window.Thanks in advance

i have this weird issue where I used this program for a year or so. but one day it asked out of the blue my serial number in a pop up-window, didn't think much of it, and kept editing like normal. but the next time i reopend premiere and loaded my project, the same window popped up. but this time i couldn't get around this, so I filled in my serial number, then it just closed, and the same window popped up again! so now i can't license the software anymore, and i can only use the trail version.i tried reinstalling it but that didn't help either.
