Premiere Elements

I am using APE15. I have a fairly good cam, a Panasonic AG-AC30. I record in MP4 1920 x 1080 at 50 fps. Bitrate is 49790kbps. Playing the MP4 on my PC seems to be fine. There is a very slight stuttering on panning but this I believe to be normal, the faster the pan, the worse stutter, but perfectly watchable. After I have completed editing I render and save to MP4 H264 1920 x 1080 25fps bitrate 15Mbps. Playing the resulting video either on monitor or TV, there is a very uncomfortable chopping on horizontal and vertical pans and zooms. The faster the pan or zoom, the worse it gets. Unlike the original MP4, the stutter is unacceptable. It is as if several frames are being dropped every second.Am I doing something wrong? I have never noticed this on previous cams but I'm sure it is not the cam because the original files play OK. I wondered if it was something to do with the 50fps recording versus the 25fps render but not sure. Is it the recording settings at fault, or the APE settings? Th

RE: Windows 10, 64-bit; Premiere Elements 2018I've got a lot of animation effects all taking place at the same time on several different clips and would like to keep the keyframes panel; e.g., Applied Effects, Motion, always open. The problem I keep running into is the panel closes as soon as I change focus to another clip and I end up spending half my time reopening the panel. Is there some way of forcing the panel to stay open?

I'm looking for a new Action CAM & was recently alarmed by Stev's revelation that the GoPro Hero 6 Black uses the H.265 CODEC which is not supported by PE!I use Premier Elements 14 on a WIN 7 PC.My current Camcorder is a Panasonic V727  (uses AVCHD).I also have a DJI Phanton 3 Standard which usued MPEG-4.Both work fine with PE14.  I have also included video from a GoPro Hero 5 into my video.I found a list of File Formats as supported by Premier Elements (15 to 10).I'm not necessarily wanting to buy into the GoPro range as there are numerous other Action CAMs for occasional use.But it seems difficult to find which CODEC each offering uses (so far only found that the Victure Action CAMs use H.264 which is OK).I'd like to try to avoid buying a camera & then finding that the resulting video cannot be processed by PE14.I've tried searching in Google with not much luck - any suggestions how to easily find which CODECs are used?Or is H.265 so rare that only the latest GoPros

I'm in the U.K. and have only recently started learning about and using Premiere Elements 2018.I started work on a new editing project recently and felt sure that I had set up the initial configuration for AVCHD FULL HD 1080 25fps but I only discover now, after completing the job to my satisfaction and burning it onto a DVD, that I've produced the whole 35 minute long video as a NTSC 30fps video rather than a PAL one.I can view the DVD perfectly on my PC but the DVD player connected to my TV refuses to play it, reporting that it is 'incompatible'.  I do need to have it in PAL HD format in order that I can send copies to other members of the family.As punishment for my stupid mistake (yes, I should have RTFM more carefully), I'm fully expecting that I'll have to start the job again completely from scratch, which will take me many hours, but thought I'd first ask if anyone in this forum can tell me of a speedier way to re-produce or re-edit the same series of video clips and then bu

Hi! I have been using Premiere Elements for a long time now, and I have succesfully edited videoclips with the program. Now I have a problem. I wanted to make a new video clip, so I imported some videofiles and a music file into premiere elements. When I put the files in the timeline, I noticed there was no sound and the clip was in slowmotion. When I clicked on the clip in the import section, it is the same thing. I opened an old premiere elements file with a complete filmclip that I made, and also that file suddenly only had slowmotion movie without any sound. this cannot be because of the type of files I am using, because it also doesn't work anymore with videos that I previously made. also I checked for updates, and the program was completely up to date. does someone have any idea how this is possible en how to fix this problem? thank you so much!

I am using APE15.I have been having some video output problems in another post I submitted, but I wonder if initial project settings are the cause, so I'm going back to basics.I have a Panasonic AG-AC30 cam and I can record in MP4, AVCHD or MOV.1. Which is best quality for use in APE? I have been using MP4 1080/50p. AVCHD & MOV also have 1080/50p available but I want MP4 final output.2. In APE New project, which settings should I use in PAL? I was using AVCHD 1080p50 as this is the only 1080p50 option. DSLR 1080p only has 24 or 25 available. Hard Disk only has 1080i as does HDV.3. After editing I then export using Devices/MP4 H264. I assume this is the obvious preset to use?I am after maximum quality for playback on TV regardless of file size or time required.I feel like a novice asking questions like this but I have been videoing for 20 years. Just grasping at straws and questioning what I have always done.

i click on photo editor and a pop up gives me three options, install from DVD, download Trial, Cancel. it has worked fine from last March install 😕😕Thank you, Keith F

I have Adobe Elements 18 and a Canon G9X Mark II.  I am able to download pictures to Elements, but every time I try to download a movie, I get the error "Elements Organizer cannot obtain files from this device."  I have no problem downloading movies to the Mac when I use Photos.  The Canon camera movie specs are:Movie Resolution 1920x1080 (60p/30p/24p) 1280x720 (30p) 640x480 (30p)Movie File FormatMP4 (Image: MPEG-4 AVC/H.264; Audio: MPEG-4 AAC-LC (Stereo))What Movie format must I shot in in order to download to Elements 18?  Why aren't all formats valid?Brian

Hi, all,I am new to video editing. I want to apply Shake Reduction to a video I made with my Galaxy S9+ in portrait mode (1920vx1080hx24b). i get the error message, "Shake reduction requires clip dimensions to match project settings. Create a new project." However, all of the available presets are in landscape mode (1080vx1920h). Many thanks for whatever yall can come up with.

Hi thereI've seen a few unanswered posts on folk with Mac problems. I'm posting in the hope of stimulating some answers.I have a brand new MacBook Air with High Sierra 10.13.6 and 8GB ram.  Adobe Premiere Elements 2018 flies along nicely. I've even had a quick play with editing the odd 4K footage here and there. I only have PE open when editing. I don't use photo organiser and I have switched off any auxiliary PE options to allow maximum speed and power for only editing video footage. I also clean out media cache and keep things pretty tidy.However - motion titles is a HUGE problem.Initially it worked. But one time when I was editing a motion title it hung and produced the spinning colour wheel of death.Now the spinning wheel is all you get when clicking motion titles and you have to force quite PE and start again.Is there a configuration file that loads each time that determines how motion titles behave?  If so, can it be overwritten to original first-use settings?It has run

When burning a file to disc, the encoding stops at 85%. I have Windows 7 and Premiere Elements 10. I tried uninstalling  Premiere Elements 10 and reinstalling it. I freed up more space on my SSD so that I have at least 105 GB there. I switched disc burners too. But still the file stops encoding at 85%. The message that I get is that there is an error at encoding. The video lasts about 25 minutes. I read about burning to file, so I will check that but don't know yet if that helps. Any thought about what is going on?

Hi,mein Premiere behauptet das es eine Änderung am PC gab (es hat keine gegeben) und möchte nun das ich aus einer Installations-ID und der Seriennummer einen Berechtigungsschlüssel generieren lasse. Die Telefonnummern die mir gegeben werden funktionieren nicht mehr und sagen das ich das über eine Internetseite machen soll: www.adobe.com/go/activation_de Kann dort aber nirgends die Möglichkeit finden die beiden Codes einzugeben. Eine selbstständige Reaktivierung via Internet ist nicht möglich! Es muss eine Offline Lösung sein.Weiß jemand wo genau die Codes eingegeben werden müssen oder wie ich das Programm sonst wieder zum laufen kriege?Gruß

Ich versuche derzeit einige Videos mit diesem Programm zu bearbeiten.Die Schnellveröffentlichung klappt die Qualität davon ist jedoch alles andere als sehenswert.Mit Datei > Exportieren sollte man generell die Projekte als MP4 etc speichern können, jedoch ist dies nicht anwählbar und ich weiß nicht warum. Ich befinde mich nicht in einem Bearbeitungsschritt denn die Funktion ist bereits am Anfang, bei der Eröffnung eines neuen Projektes nicht verfügbar.

I have a problem importing audio files in Premier Elements 15. If I try to import a file with the extension .m4a, the importmodule gives a generic fault. The only files I can import are files with the extension .WMA

After using Premiere Elements 9 for some hours and trying out various configuration and editing options in order to familiarise myself with the workings of the program, I clicked to 'Get Media' and a banner message was displayed reading 'Sorry a serious error has occurred that requires Adobe Premiere Elements 9 to shut down. We will attempt to save your current project'. I've no idea what I did wrong and couldn't get the program to work again so I uninstalled it, deleted the contents of the Media caches (at C:\Users\myname\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Common\Media --   ) and then reinstalled it from the original disk (and upgraded it to V9.01).Unfortunately when I ran the program again and clicked to 'Get Media' I saw the same banner with the same error message,Can anyone please suggest what I can do to correct the situation?TIA -  Dave.

HiThis is Windows 7 and Premier Elements 15 and what is installed by that.Been troubleshooting now for a week what happends and audio recording is just suddenly aborted in Cubase due to audio dropouts.And a delayed start of update checks for Adobe - installed with Premier Elements 15 - seems to be the problem.How can I turn this off properly - no automatic updates?Computer is never online, just for planned updates and installs.I found the adobegc.log and dlm.log which a secondary applications started by UpdaterStartupUtility.exe.Other secondary applications seem to be AdobeGCClient.exe and AAM Updates Notifier.exe etc.There are complaints about CC not installed something, but I only briefly had Adobe Acrobat Reader CC something installed, and then uninstalled.Something still remain from that?Can I just rename UpdaterStartupUiltity.exe to something else?If I don't find a solution I have to start with uninstalling Premier Elements, since this is the only purchased Adobe product I have.I

Hello,I've been making a video project for my daughter's wedding.  I'm adding copies of various types of photos.  I've used batch resizing to 1000 pixels width.  The initial photos that I used all fit into the timeline nicely.  Then, I decided to add some text to a couple of photos.  I did this by editing the photos in Photoshop Elements 15 using the T button.  I then resized the photos to 1000 pixels width and imported them to my timeline in Premiere Elements 15.  They all came in too large to view in the timeline.  I tried resizing them to 750 width, but they also came in too large.  I then tried adding new photos that did not have any text added, and they are all coming in too large.  The only thing I have done since I processed the initial photos is to install Quicktime on my computer.  I'd like to have the new photos work on my timeline.  Any suggestions?Thanks,J Mac

  RE:  adobe premiere elements 2018  The app seemed to work fine after being installed.  I didn't use it for months, then as it was processing a video for editing my computer locked up. After restarting my computer, I tried again with the same result. The next day and today the app won't run at all. Can I erase it from my hard drive then re-download it? If so, can I download it without Organize and Photo Shop?

I recently finished my first project taking several clips then using a supplied Movie Menu theme. When I did a Disk Burn to an iso file everything went fine. Later, I repeated the burn but went directly to DVD. Again, it all worked fine. I closed the project, came back later and opened it again and the Movie Menu frames had been altered. The Titles I had put in were in the wrong font and line ends and special characters were changed to ascii coding. Also, the frames for the scenes were changed in size and shape. The images in them were messed up too. The video itself was fine. This behaviour was not exhibited after doing the iso burn.  Does this sound familiar to anyone?Windows 10. 64 bitPremiere Elements 13.1

ADP 14 running on windows 10I am trying to add running time clock in a video to preview. I would like to have a running time clock to identify sections in a video when reviewing with a client. I searched the internet but did not find anything. I did this I the past bet lost my notes. Thanks Cheers! Phil

I'm using Premiere elements again, but this time I cannot get the video clips to go into the time line or project assets.  When I click "get media" I get a message that there such a file already in use.  Everything is grayed out and I can't change the fine destination.  Thank you.  Roy[Moved from the non-technical Lounge Forum to the Program forum... I know, I shouldnt have changed the file paths. Is there a way to get my clips back if i move the file folders back to their original places? I get the media offline message. Can I backtrack?
