will not install

i've used premier pro  for years but do not want to pay the monthly  subscription. so i'm trying out elements. i'm used to making bins for video clips, photos, music, sound fx ect. to keep everything organized. how do you do tihs in elements

like the title says. Or is there another adobe alternative.like the videos you see on Facebook or YouTube?

I am using Adobe Premiere Elements 14 . At the end of my editing , i am using a scroll type title  setting for all my credits . Is there anyway to slow down the speed of the scroll so it dosent " race " through the credits so fast ?? Any help would greatly be appreciated!Dave B.

I'm working with a team of volunteers to create a project.  I've used Photoshop Elements 9 and Premiere Elements 12 to create an animated lower third banner template.  The template uses background video, a mask, and the text as three separate video tracks.I want to farm out all the banner making to another volunteer (using the same Windows 10 PC).  I want to add these clips on one video track and manipulate them independently.  I've seen threads about using 3rd party programs to copy and paste one project into another.  But, as I understand it, these copy the full project (in my case 3 video tracks) into the new one.  I'd rather have each banner be an individual clip.My question:  Is there a way for my volunteer to do all the grunt work creating multiple clips so I can import them into my project and key them over my video?  Of course I'd like to maintain quality as much as possible.Thanks in advance,Button_Pusher

Bought this in January this year, all was well until the last time I tried to start it ~ getting the message "detected an incompatible display driver" ~ nothing has changed since I originally bought the app. My display is NVIDIA GeForce GT710 Version 23.21.13.9101 which I believe is the latest version. Tried deleting the Baddriver.txt file (##FALSE###FALSE#0) but it just recreated the next time I tried to run the app. Looking on taskmanager it seems to be opening multiple occurrences of GPUsniffer.exe and dynamiclinkmanager.exe*32 processes increasing my CPU useeage to 100% before it finally stops ~ just closes down.Thanks in advanceDave Sloan

Many years ago I bought Potato Shop Elements.  It was alright and was easily understood without resorting to tutorials.  There was an offer of a Premiere Elements v9 for a few pounds more so I bought that as well.  (They rely on your anxiety whispering in your ear in order to get you to shop more.)I never used the latter and a lot of years passed.  Then, recently, I recorded a Victoria Derbyshire program on which I had two emails read out.  I wanted to tidy up the beginning and the end of the program so got the Premiere out.  It doesn't stand to reason and there is no way of working out how it works from just trying likely moves.  I ended up downloading a tutorial .pdf.  This bore little relation to the program it was talking about.  You were left stumped after the first few pages.  So I went back to the program and tried to work it out.  I was presented with numerous options for what the tutorial meant.I haven't got three months t

Premiere Elements 15, Windows 10.My problem is that the Menu is distorted, stretched.My videos are completed & rendered in Prem. El.15, they consist of pan & zoom widescreen & 4x3 images & video pieces, and it plays widescreen on my widescreen computer.  When I want to make a DVD, I load each one (12 videos, 45 minutes) onto a new Prem. El. project and then I notice that the setting (Edit, Project Settings) automatically changes to 1280x720 (from 1920x1080).  At the top in the settings it says Sony XD CAM EX 720p.  30 Frames/second.  Square Pixels (1.0).       Now the DVD Menu & all templates show like a 4x3.  But when I put in a 4x3 picture (in the Pan & Zoom menu template) it shows condensed (skinny) with black bars on the sides and doesn't fill the 4x3 outline.  When I put in a widescreen picture, it stretches it too wide, and the fonts too.I've tried to see if it would help to change the Project set

I'm currently running Premier Elements version 8.1. I haven't upgraded because there's not been a need to. Now however I may need to start doing some editing again. So my question is will the projects I created in version 8.1 be compatible with the 2018 version of Premier Elements. Thanks in Advance, Dan

I have saved my project many times. all of a sudden when I open the same project my text titles show no text!  If I try  to add another text title there is no text box that pops up.  What happen. Some type of corruption. Eveything else seems to work fineThank YouRodney

I have been using Adobe Premiere Elements 13 now for about three years with no issues. All of a sudden I started a new project, added a video via add media, put the video on the video one slot and hit play. The video was "playing" because I could see that the red bar was moving and time was moving but the video in the editing screen was paused. It has crosshairs on it, like it is almost selected. I have tried everything to get it to work but I cant edit it because the video its self will not play. I have tried researching on forums, I have tried calling and starting a chat. Nothing is working and adobe never got back to me. If you guys can please help that would be great! Any advice on whats going on - I have already tried uninstalling it and installing it.

Hi I am running PRE15 on a Mac its a Quad Core 3.4 ghz i7, 12Gb Ram, AMD Raedon HD 6970I am editing Gopro footage that I have edited into managable clips in the Gopro desktop app, and exported as .mov files. They are all stored on an external disk connected by thunderbolt. They are 1920 x 1080 59.94 fps of varying lengthProject settings are Editing Mode - AVCHD 1080p square pixel, Timebase 59.94 frames/second - this was a standard PAL project set up.I am finding the the program either just crashes / closes back desktop - this happens 90% of the time when I adjust the size of the clip monitor when reviewing clips. Interestingly the footage plays fine when dragged into the timeline. I am also finding that the program stops responding and I get the spinning wheel when I for example do a custom smart fix, or try and do a pan and zoom on clips in the timeline. Again interestingly I have had no problems when doing time remapping. I haven't tried all the different functions.I have managed to

Installed a trial version of premiere elements 2018. Tried a test to drop a video on the timeline but it is not displayed in a sort of preview box. Also the fullscreen mode gives no reaction. I recently got a new computer. I installed Premiere Elements 10 on it and planned to get to editing some stuff tonight, but, to my shock and awe, MP4 videos are not showing any image. I get audio, but no video. On my previous PC, the same video clips worked fine, but now, just black/grey. I've downloaded both Quicktime and Divx (just to be sure). They play in both utilities. They play in the Elements Organizer, even, but in PrE 10, just grey.My video card is an nVidia 1070 with the latest drivers. Windows 10, latest version. Quicktime and Divx downloaded tonight, so they're the latest versions. My old laptop could play these videos in PrE 10, so why not the new one?! Please help!

Ich suchte z.B. unter Soundeffekte-Tiere Pferdegtrappel (Galopp), das ich aber auch nicht unter Foley oder einer anderen Kategorie fand. Wo lassen sich solche Effekte herunterladen?

When the Beast from the East hit last week we headed out on the sledges and I shot at 2.7k 60fps.  There are a few jumps in there that I wanted to playback as slo-mo so set up the project at 1080p 30fps.  The output is horrible very grainy and very distorted apart from the slowmotion parts where the footage is crisp like the original.  I've tried again with a project at 60fps and it looks fine but the slowmotion stuff doesn't look so good.  Is this normal that this happens when you reduce the framerate from what was shot originally compared to the final export? And any online resources which would give me a better understanding of framerates and when to choose which framerate for both filming and final export of the edited product? ThanksMatt

I have a project in Premiere 11. I load the project up and all my title text boxes lost  there text.  what happen? If I bring a new text box in, I do not get the normal text box to start typing I use to get. what happen?  Any ideas?

Generally quite happy with PE.  Have used it a good deal over the last 7 of my 40 years of making films and videos.  One way, I could improve.Opacity.   Now, I have to edit and distribute a complex composition.  Four tracks.  Each image has been shot to not very often overlap.  However, the opacity is relative to each shot on each track.  If the top track is 100, no light trickle downs.  If the top track is 90, only 10 trickles down.   Would be nice to have several simultaneous 100.Of course, Photoshop Elements with its Magic Wand and Move Tool is a real boon!   Any suggestions how I can get each track independent, or at least more independent?Previously, would make MPEG of each set of two tracks and then marry the MPEGs.  But that is a hassle.  Maybe a more fun way of doing is out there?  Thanking your replies!

Opacity.  I am quite experienced using keyframes to manually adjust opacity for each shot.  Using the slider, or grabbing a key frame, or setting the number.For my current project of many months, this has been fine.  However, suddenly the number (in the bottom or at the top) do not correctly reflect the opacity.Or, the slider does not move, or if it does, it also does not honestly reflect what is going on with the screen.  Sometimes, I can get it to work, if I restart the computer, but then quickly opacity decides not to work.   Any suggestion of what is going?  Or, how to return to normal operation?   This a major issue for this project.   Thanks !!!
