Premiere Elements

Hello,I have been using Adobe Premiere Element 14 for almost 2 years now. And now, after I have spent multiple hours working on many different projects on my laptop, HP windows 7 Hewlett-Packard. As I worked on my projects, the edits keep on working, then pausing, working, then pausing. This has become a trend. This also happens when I export a film for a movie. I have used Premier Elements 10 since 2012, and the program is still OK for my use. Now I've changed from PC to Mac, and here I can't use my cd from the package. How do I install Premiere Elements on my Mac? Am I going to delete the program from the pc at a start or what to get my license for Imac?

Is it possible to "upgrade" from Elements 13 to 18?

This isn't a question. It's a comment.I wanted to use some mp4 video files created in Vegas Pro 15 with the Magix AVC/AAC (1920x1080 30p) codec with the Intel QSV option, but when added to media bin in Premiere Elements 2018, only the audio is recognized. However, in Premiere Elements 15, both the video and audio are recognized. The file opens okay in all other video editors I have.I'm on Windows 10 PC with Intel i5 processor.

For the last 3 years I have used PE12 as my film making software and I have been rather fortunate in the competition results. Wishing to use say larger file maps and pan around them let alone the odd 4K video included in the HD presentation, my camcorder has that facilty.I bought and installed PE2018 with its 3840 x 2160 file size handling capability and then I could not get it to save the film as an HD file and burn onto a disc let alone a Blu-Ray disc or 4K to disc. It will only save a 4k sized file as only a computer file on to a USB memory stick. Lots of competition entries are still on Blu-ray discs.After nearly two days with the PC builders and then Adobe into and out of my new PC by remote trying to resolve this none burning HD quality, with new codecs etc installed and then removed again, leaving a lot of my previously working software trashed, Adobe have come back with the following phrase “You have contacted us regarding the technical issue with Adobe Premiere Elements with s

moving from windows to Mac I experienced the situation that some of the windows projects .prel can be opened on Mac without complications and some don't. I'm not quite sure but it seems that projects saved with version 12 are compatible. Can anyone confirm this?Best regardsDieter

Hello all,  Adobe Premier Elements 13 on an Lenovo ThinkPad E560..I7 6500U, 16 GB ram, switchable graphics Intel HD520 and AMD Radeon R7 M370 2GB memory.  Windows 7 pro.  Graphic drivers all updated.  Photoshop works fine.  Elements returns an "incompatible display driver" error.  Any fix for this?Thank you for any help,C.

I upgraded Photoshop Elements to 2018 and converted the catalog.  Then I upgraded to Premier Elements 2018.  When I open a previously created video it does not display.  Also many of my photos are missing from the video and the music track is not there.  Did I miss a step?

Hi there,I've been running Windows 10 Enterprise Version 1703 OS Build 15063.674  for a couple of months now and editing .MTS files in PE2018. PE2018 stutters quite a bit while playing in editor compared to earlier version I was using (PE14), but does work. (My 64 bit machine runs fast i7 chip and is plenty capable of editng without stutter, so not sure what this is about).Two days ago, Microsoft pushed a major upgrade to newest Windows. Upon restart, PE2018 gives a missing codec dialog for .MTS file I was editing the previous day.I used windows rollback to revert the changes, same problem. Through sad experience, I've learned the only safe bet is full backup, which i do regularly. So, used Acronis to revert to previous Windows 10 version image created 2 weeks ago, and PE 2018 is able to edit .MTS again.MS makes it difficult to avoid their automatic updates to Windows 10; eventually it will likely happen. So, here is the question: anyone know what DLL PE2018 is using for avchd cod

The bios "fix" doesn't work for me because of my platform (Windows 10).I am running an Alienware laptop with the latest drivers. (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 and an Intel HD Graphics 530).Help will be appreciated, the software is useless to me as it is.

Hi,I am using Premier Elements 11 and 12 to edit my videos.in HD and despite burning a perfectly good DVD the menus do not work nor will the DVD play in my Panasonic DVD Player if the disc has been burnt using the AVCHD preset. I can burn a DVD in HD Widescreen that will play but the image is not sharp. . DVD's edited and burnt in HD Widescreen on earlier versions of Premier Elements have always worked well. I am using TDK discs.I am using a Canon HV30 to film in HD and a Canon XA 10 to film in AVCHD. The setting I am using to edit in Premier Elements is -Pal-AVCHD-Full HD 1081i25 and the preset for burning DVD's is AVCHD H.264  1920x1080i Pal Dolby.Can you offer any suggestions please.

I am separating video clips with text titles, with the text animated by fading in by characters.  If I apply a cross-dissolve transition, either at the end of the video clip, or between the video clip and the title, then two frames before the start of the title the entire title text line appears for one frame.   Can this be prevented?

I have tried to get someone to help before, but didnt get the problem solved. Ok I know it is possible to connect certain cameras and recorders to a computer and record through Premiere Elements 12 using those devices, however, is it possible to use a smart phone in the same way? I'm trying to avoid the "record then transfer from device to computer" route but I'm not sure how long my actual camera that can record video will record before deciding to stop recording.The phone I'm planning on using is a Samsung Galaxy S7.

How can I burn or copy my slideshow onto a flash drive for viewing onto a tv? I've been burning onto DVD dual layer but the quality isn't very good with only being able to select 720x576. I want the higher quality resolution of 1920x1080. I've created a 2 hour slideshow with music. I want to keep the movie menu's that I created as it's nice to select Play Movie or Scene Selection. Is all of this possible or am I stuck with using DVD dual layer and low resolution? I can't burn onto blu ray disc, because I'm giving copies of disk or thumb drive to people as gifts and not everyone will have a player.

J'ai beau consulter tous les forums possible, pas moyen de trouver une solution... 

Hello - New to Adobe Premier Elements 2018, actually checking out the trial version for the past couple days. Coming from experience in Power Director, and have done a fair amount of video editing, mostly for sports clips and highlight videos.  Looking for a better workflow than what I have now, thought the Organizer in Elements was going to be the answer, but not loving it.  Wondered if anyone has any better ideas or can point out something I'm missing.My standard workflow: record kids sports, usually many video clips of a given game, start/stop producing small clips throughout a gamehave the video clips in Windows, directories for each sport/date/gamethought I would use Organizer to TAG video clips that have good plays (tag by person and type of play), eventually wanting to gather them into a highlight video. create highlight video with clips from many different games/dates/playersThought the Adobe Organizer was going to offer great capabilities for exactly the above, most

Hello,I have Adobe Premiere Elements 12, and as far I'm aware I'm unable to add a timecode to my videos. Is this possible in Elements 12, and if not, if I upgrade to Adobe Premier Elements 18, is this feature included?FYI: I am interested in collating raw footage into one long video, and applying a timecode before I send it to a professional video editor with edit instructions.Also, will Elements 18 enable me to save my video files as smaller sized files than Premiere 12? In 12, the smallest I'm able to save a 20 minute video is 1GB, and I'm hoping to be able to save them as low quality, 400 MB files.This may be my naivety, so any help suggesting how to save my videos as small sizes would be greatly appreciated as well.  Thank you,Lucas

Premiere Elements 16.0  After rendering / saving and closing a project why is re-rendering required  when the project is opened again. No additional changes were made, just saved and reopened the project. The rendering did not seem to survive being closed.

Ich habe heute Adobe Premiere Elements 2018 gekauft und mit Administratorrechten unter Windows 10 Home, Version 1709 installiert, d.h. das Installationsprogramm wurde ohne Fehlermeldung abgeschlossen. Es wurde auch der vorgeschlagene Pfad C:\Program Files\Adobe verwendet.Beim Starten von Adobe Premiere Elements mit Administratorrechten bekomme ich nach ca. 5 Sekunden die folgende Fehlermeldung:Mit der Fehlermeldung komme ich leider nicht weiter. "Debuggen" führt leider ins Leere und mehr Informationen sind dem Programm nicht zu entlocken -- zumindest nicht für einen Laien. Hat jemand vielleicht ein ähnliches Problem?

I made an 8 minute video by combining 8 minutes of mp3 audio with about 10 seconds of a Quicktime movie superimposed over one part.  The screen is blank for almost the entire 8 minutes.I then choose to export the video with YouTube widescreen SD settings, 480p. It's taking a LOOONG time. It has spent 15 minutes so far, and the "remaining time" just keeps creeping up, now claiming 1 hour 15 minutes remaining in the export. Any idea why this is so? Shouldn't this be a very quick and easy task?

I just installed Premiere Elements 2018 trial, and when I tried to get media from camcorder it does'nt recognize any devices. is there a limitation in the trial version?
