Premiere Elements

I wanted to ask for Adobe Premiere Elements experts, because despite being equipped with Intel Core i7, the Nvidia Gt740 M video card, an external drive running on 2TB, Premiere often crashes. In addition to having a very slow rendering, even if I apply only 2 effects, I'm very tired to modify my GO PRO videos even though they have previously been converted to GO Pro Studio in AVI. When they start a new project using AVCHD Pal 1080p50. The original videos have 50 fps. I would like to understand what error does .... thank youAntonio

Hello!  As the title states, I am trying to edit videos in adobe premiere 15.  The video files are coming from OBS Studio.  I am saving the recordings from OBS at as MP4.I have been trying to solve this for some time now and I do not believe it is a settings issue with OBS (although I could be wrong) seeing as how if i stream to twitch.tv the quality comes through fine.I make a quick sample recording featuring a website page from Wikipedia.  When the video is paused it looks okay and the words are readable.  However once I press play the quality turns so bad the words cant be made out and pretty much look like Arabic. Changes I have tried thus far suggested by search resaults:In OBS:- Much higher bit rate from 3k to 20k-Changing Container format from default to flv, and then to MP4In Adobe premiere:Making a new project and changing the settings to different presets that I thought would better match the incoming file.I haven't found much else out there about thi

I have a video MP4 that needs to be transferred to a DVD.The burned DVD turns out with jerky playback.The MP4 file is 24 fps.How do you transfer to DVD with Premiere Elements 15and have it playback smoothly?I've searched the forums, but can't find a solution.Thanks

It used to be easy. Click the clip, click "fade out (or  in) audio" and it happened. The fade points could be adjusted to give a longer fade if I wanted one. Now, I can't shift the things and in any case the fade doesn't go to zero, or in other words, silence. This is an infernal pest, as I have to do major juggling of the clips involved to get a smooth transition. I'm re-working the current video in Elements 12. It's slower, but more tractable.My computer runs an Intel i7 7700 CPU at 4.2GHz. It has 16GB of memory and a 64-bit operating system. It runs on Windows 10. It should eat this stuff for breakfast. Why is there a problem?Another one, which may be related, is that shifting music from the music track (stereo) to an audio track (5.1 sound) has to be done in at least 2 steps. Hi,When I import footage into the Organizer or into Premiere Elements 12 Expert edit, it comes in with all the highlights blown out to the point where it's almost unusable! Can anyone help me out here?  The footage looks fine in Lightroom and when viewed directly from the USB drive it's stored on but when I import it, Premiere is doing something to it that ruins it!!I'm using a PC with Windows 10, 64 bit.  The raw footage is .mp4 shot at 30fps.

I'm not sure if this is the correct spot to post this, but I couldn't find a better spot. I have Adobe Premiere Elements 15 and for some files refuse to be added to the timeline. I have a .MOV and a .M4A both of which prompt a "Generic Error" with no other information. These files run fine on everything else, but when it comes to Adobe they simply will not work. These are important and I need to be able to put these files in the timeline. Any ideas?

Unable to open Premiere 13, worked the last time.  Now I click on the icon, click on the new project, and it sets there for about 2 mins. with the ants marching along then stops.  It just won't open at all.  [EDIT - moved from Photoshop Elements to Premiere Elements – Moderator]

Hi,I'm experiencing issues with running Premiere Elements 14 on two displays.I used to use expert mode in 'dual monitor workspace', moving the video window to the left monitor and keeping the timeline on the right monitor (both full screen). This worked fine for a couple of years. Recently (possibly since upgrading to Sierra, but could be another issue) when I press play both windows jump to the left monitor. If I switch the position of the two windows then they both jump to the right monitor.Running on a 2009 Mac Pro, 32gb Ram, two DELL P2714H displays, Sierra OS. Program is fully upgraded.Thanks!

I had a hard drive crash.  Fortunately photos and music were backed up.  prel files were recovered.  It appears Premier Elements 13 can't locate media and files due to new file paths.  How do I get everybody talking again?

Can I use markers to create chapters in my event movie that will let the viewer select a scene to jump to. This menu would be located with the title block and the chapters would be named. If this can be done would it export to HD dvd and Blu Ray?

So lately I've had this problem occur a couple of times in Premiere Elements 12, where in the middle of editing, video clips will pause randomly and when pressing play again, they won't play. I had to restart the computer last time it happened but now it happened again almost instantly. Not sure what to do. I recall this happening before but at least then they would play again in a short while. Now nothing.

How do I extend the duration time of a transition containing text?  The default time is not allowing sufficient time to read the text.

I have started my first project in Premier Elements 7. After I have uploaded video clips I am only able to place six or seven clips on the board at the bottom before I get a message telling me the program has stopped working. My operating system is Windows 8. Could it be that I have insufficient space on my C: drive?

Hi, as the title suggests, I am finding that when returning to recent projects, the footage is missing or 'off line'. The program cannot find it. The titles remain, and the audio sometimes remains. But here's the really frustrating thing: if I then rework and replace all the lost elements, the project will still no longer export; gets to 98% of transfer and then states a communication error has caused it to fail. I know these sound like two separate issues, but can't help see them as being linked. The only solution is to start the project again from scratch in a new window and export as soon as finished. Any clue as to what is going on would be much appreciated. Thanks

When I try to import photos from my Galaxy 5 Premiere Elements does not recognise my phone.  It has done so successfully MANY times in the past.  Now the window reads "no device found."  I do have the phone connected with the supplied cable.

I am simply wanting to use Adobe Elements 14 Organizer as you would Bridge in Photoshop. Is there a way to view files through the organizer without downloading them onto the computer you are using? I don't have the time nor disk space to load everything shot on a card, I just want to be able to view a media card's content, and then select from it what I do want to import for editing. Hello,A video I made from photos in Elements 11 that plays fine (from a thumb drive) on my Win10 desktop, (psav file format) won't play in Elements 11 on Win8 laptop: codec missing error? Any ideas?

I have Premiere Elements 15 in Windows 10 environment.I have Sony FDR-AX53 camcorder and shoot video in 4K XAVC-S format (MP4 File (.MP4)). Record mode 60mbps, frame rate 30p.  The system is supposed to automatically assign setting for the new project. Here what I have (EditàProject SettingàGeneral): Frame size: 3840 horizontal; 2160 vertical. Display format: 30fps non-drop-frame timecode; Title safe Area: 20% horizontal, 20% vertical. Action Safe Area: 10% horizontal, 10% vertical. Almost all video clips have a flicker effect. Also the time indicator does not move smoothly within video clips. When I play each clip in Windows Media Player I don’t have flicker and the time indicator moves smoothly. Please help me to get rid of flicker and make time indicator move smoothly within clips in PE 15. Thanks. Lev.

Hello, I recently purchased a new laptop after my desktop hard drive died....wouldn't boot....click of death. Anyway, I have my Adobe Premiere Elements v 12.0 but my computer doesn't have an optical drive.Is there a way to download this software to a new computer? Do I just need to suck it up and buy an external optical drive? Or am I not allowed to use the software I have on my new computer since it was previously installed on a different machine?

I am creating a movie and have imported many video clips (with audio) and audio clips. When the media was originally imported all sound was functional.  However, now all clips have no sound.  Black audio graphic bars appear on all clips.  The speaker icons are not muted on the various tracks.  The volume of the computer is at an appropriate level. How do I restore the audio?

Hello Everyone, I just recently got Elements 15 and It has worked fine for me up until now. I am using it to edit vlogs shot from an IPhone 5 and, as a result, I am primarily working with a lot (Usually about 200) smaller clips per video. What I do while editing is import the clips in Chronological order and edit through them and then load in the next bunch. Recently, though I am having an issue loading in some files. I'll import a full day of clips (Here its only about 20 clips) and Elements says it cant import about half of them and only explains "Importer Reported a Generic Error," which probably wins the award for least helpful error message I've ever received. What is so weird to me is that all of the clips I am importing were shot on the same camera on the same day and are pretty much identical in format, yet it is randomly choosing some clips that are fine to import and some that are having errors. I cannot figure out the variable.I have seen a similar post to this one where som
