I also have a Sony cam and changed settings from recording MP4 to AVCHD.I use Adobe Premier Elements 11 and found it worked fine by dragging the mps file to the timeline.It took some digging.The mps files are located in the path PRIVATE / AVCHD / BDMV / Stream and no file extension name shows, but filenames show as sequenced file named like 0008, 0009 etc.Here is a screenshot of my SD card directory path showing the unlabeled mps files.Just copy the files to your PC, then drag them onto the Elements timeline and they work fine, including audio tracks.I didn't do anything with the other folders. So copy all these mps files to your pc, then I assume delete them on the SD card.[Branched into a new thread by mod]

Happens with both Premiere and Photoshop Elements 15 on my iMac. I lied and said I was using CC to start a chat and they did help me with permissions which were correct anyway. But yet the problem continues regularly every two or three weeks. Works fine after reinstall but then after a few weeks something triggers it and I have to reinstall both again. I have not received any useful assistance with this. Any other Mac user having a similar problem? Is there a final solution?

Hello!First post here, but I've got a question that's been bugging me for some time now.Screenshots at the end, if I don't properly explain what files I'm using.I've always had issues with Premiere Elements playing back and properly using videos I throw at it. Before I was using H264 and video playback was flawless, but audio was getting out of sync eventually. Switch to X264 (per recommendation of recording software, Bandicam) and the audio is spot on, but now the video messes up (screenshot below)Okay, let's see if this helps sort out what I just said.1. This is the video messing up, as if I was trying to watch a video on a really poor connection, maybe? Playback is flawless watching in Media Player.2. I've created a template-based video story in Premier Elements 15 and was dismayed to find most of the images(pictures) were inserted too large for the frames. Only a center portion of the picture is there in some of them, particularly the main title slide.  How do I re-size the images to make them fit?

Using PE15 on MAC. Does Adobe know when PE15 will recognize new Apple SuperDrive DVD player?

I've been using Premier Elements successfully for several years and until recently have had no problem using VLC  Media Player for play back of videos made from stills.  However, I now have an odd problem of both audio and video corruption with some hangups which begins to occur only after the video is about 30 minutes in.  These videos vary in size from 8 - 20 Gigs in size and all are prone to this problem.  VLC has been upgraded recently but I am wondering if this is likely a Codec issue.  Can anyone advise me on this problem?Speyguy

So I was wondering if there is a way to modify the work space in Adobe Premiere Elements 15. I've seen similar suggestions in older versions, but not for 15. I know about the duel monitor work space, but all it does is move the timeline, which is kinda pointless because the control options (render, play button, zoom in/out timeline) is still in the same place. From all the looking I've done it doesn't look like I can change that. If I am wrong, I would love to know how to change it.If not here's a small suggestion for the duel monitor option. Along with moving the timeline, have the above options available. Another idea would also have the side toolbar detachable as well. This would make fine tuning key framing easier since the preview video is much larger. Here's a picture explaining what I mean.Anyways, just a quick question/idea I wanted to ask since I didn't see the question for Premiere Elements 15.Thank you.

DVD branden met premiere elements lukt niet als mijn AVG internet security aanstaat. Ik krijg dan de foutmelding dat de DVD module niet naar een geheugenlocatie kan verwijzen.Uitschakelen Internet verbinding en Virus programma lossen dit probleem op, dan werk alles zoals het gebruikelijk is.Wat moet ik doen om van dit probleem af te komen.ik gebruik de versie 14, opnieuw installeren lost niets op.

What is the best way to save a JPG for a Premiere Elements Slideshow...1) RGB or Grayscale?2) Use "Save As" or "Save for Web"? Save for Web automatically turns it to RGB, but I read it doesn't save as many colors. Does it matter if viewing on an LCD HDTV? 3) Any reason not to make my images 1920x1080?I haven't picked my output resolution yet (720p or 1080p). It's been a long time since I did this - I won't be using DVDs anymore. I'll either play it from a USB drive or cast it to the TV. Any tips would be appreciated. I'm just about to re-edit a lot of Grayscale JPG scans.

Hi,I hope someone can help - this is driving me nuts!! I want to import a number of stills, using the 'numbered stills' check box, to create a time-lapse video - but it's only importing the first still.  And if I try importing all stills from a source which has them in sequence, they are imported out of sequence - although the image names are definitely sequentialSo, the 'numbered stills' option seems not to be working. But also it's not importing in sequence. I am very new to the software, so I assume I'm doing something wrong . . . please HELP!

Hoping someone can help me here. Im a total rookie so make an answer dummy proof in easy lingo terms    Am using Premier Elements 15 with a Windows 7 PC (all specs make it useable). I have numerous ".vob" type video files that I want to burn onto a Blu-Ray "50GB", but that's really a 46.6GB available disc. I've read on a few sites its possible to fit about 20hrs of SD content on a 50GB disc but cant find anyone talking about how to do it. My files total about 18 hours, are 46.86GB worth of content, and all are recorded in 720:480 with a data rate of 6000kbps, total bitrate of 6192kbps, frame rate of 29fps, and have a .vob filename extension. Their audio is bitrate 192kbps, 2 stereo channels, with 48kHz sample rate. Each file ranges from 200MB to 4GB in size so all that, plus needing to import some photos to create menu screens, and im wondering if I need to compress a couple of them to fit my 46.86GB onto the 46.6GB disc?? Do the files need to be changed to a different type t

I have licenses for Adobe Photoshop Elements 13 & Adobe Premiere Elements 13 and Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro all for Windows. My Windows machine just crashed. Can I transfer those windows licenses to a Mac?

I am about to install an m.2 ssd which will become my new c: drive. I plan to leave my photos on the old SATA c: drive but will rename it as the d: drive. When I reinstall Photoshop 15 on my new c: drive am I going to run into any problem reconnecting to my catalog and photos on the (renamed) d: drive?

Hi,I created a movie and now I want to Export it in 4k. When I exporteted it in HD, there was no problem and the file was about 2,3 Gb. Now I want to export it in 4k. It says thet the file should be about 13 GB, but after exporting it is just 0,3 GB and a worse quality than the HD Export.I tried it with standart 4k export settings for Computer and TV (always in about 30 fps).(I am using Premiere Elements 15)How can I fix this?Thank you in advance.

After starting to burn, I get an error message ' \Vobulator\BlockPlanner\BlockPlanner.app line 215'I have reloaded software, but still no good.Any ideas?

Hi!There's a little problem I've been having with my Premiere Elements 12 since the day I started using it and I'm finally fed up with it. It's a very minor thing, but incredibly annoying while editing longer videos. I don't exactly know how to describe it, so I've made a quick 30 second video where you can see the problem: So as you can see, there is some button that triggers the dragging on the timeline to become smooth, smooth as in the clips don't momentarily attach to each other when you drag them around the timeline. This is annoying, because you have to zoom in as close as you can to the timeline and then set the clips the way you want them to go. It slows down the editing process greatly. It seems to be a project focal thing, so once triggered in one project, it doesn't affect any of the other projects. It also doesn't go away by exiting the project and then opening it again.So, has anyone else had this problem? What is the button that triggers this? Thanks in advance!- Aino

Hi All. I am very new at video editing and have been using Movie Maker for a few months now. Although it is user-friendly, I find it very limiting so I plan to switch to a PE15. I don't want to use Pro CC since I don't want to pay a fee every month. I tried Davinci Resolve but I was too overwhelmed by it. Anyway, I am specific about the transitions. I don't want the old school type. I like specifically the slide, spin, swoosh, fast zoom in/out, etc. which I'm pretty sure are not in the default package. Is there a way to add them?

I have a long 30 minute clip consisting of videos, audios, titles etc. I realised I missed inserting an image and a title page in the middle. How do I move them all - there are many segments and they need to move forward together. Thanks.

I have been using Premiere Elements 14.1 trouble free to create over 50 videos until July 2nd.  I did a long trip to Florida and back, gone for two weeks -- had my Lenovo along, but didn't do any editing.Upon return home (Pennsylvania), on July 15, PE wouldn't work.  When I tried to load any .prel file -- any one of a hundred -- it asked "where is file XXXX?"  It can't find any of the referenced files.  When I point out where it is, the program crashes.Using the Geek Squad, I reloaded PE 14 and cleaned up junk files, etc.  That didn't work.  Eventually, we reloaded Windows 10 and I just reinstalled PE -- and everything else.  I've spent 10 days reconstructing my computer.Same problem.  When I load any project, it asks where the file is.  It's actually in the same place it was when I saved the prel earlier.  When I point that out, the system crashes.Any suggestions?
