Hi, I have photoshop elements and premier elements 15They have worked fine. Now if I click video editor, it just does nothing. It looks like it is loading but it never does.Photo elements opens fine.Windows 10.i5 230010g ram2T hardrive

hi,  i have been importing mp4 files from my phantom 4 pro into elements   (latest version) these are 4k files.  never had any issues.now for some reason my newer videos wont open ,  it comes up with "importer reporter a generic error"    all my older files open fine.what could be the problem,   i run windows 10 on my laptop which has a nvidia geforce gtx card and heaps of ram and i7 processor.searched for this issue but nothing i saw could help.any help would be appreciated.

I just installed Mac Premiere Elements 15 (have used 11 and 14 previously) on a new computer.  I import mp4 video files (1280 x 720)- one in video/audio 1, the other in video/audio 2.  I'm using Expert mode.  I apply the Transformation-Crop tool to video 2 and crop video 2.  I want to edit around the area I just cropped so I magnify it, to say, 150% and move the focus to the crop area (which is relatively small).  I make an adjustment (lighting-brightness) in the color to video 2 which I want to apply to maybe one frame so I clip the frame and make the adjustment.  When I move (via scroll left key) to the previous frame (which is now a different clip), what's visible on the window shifts outside of where it was originally.  This doesn't happen in Quick mode (but I think Quick mode is useless for what I'm doing).  It also doesn't happen if I have video 1 (the non-cropped clip) selected/highlighted and then scroll - only if video 2 is selected/high

Hi,how can I extend one of the motion title (e.g. one of the typography ones) by additional text blocks? I don't want 4 blocks to fly in but instead 6 or 7.Or how can I create a new motion title from a blank title?

I have a brand new premier elements 15. Just installed. When I go to edit video the video won't play. The audio does play. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. What's wrong with it.

Hello, Hoping someone can help.  I installed Premiere Elements 15 recently and everything has been working fine with the exception of a few "quirks".  Occasionally the "play" button does not move/work in the work area, and as a result the timeline will not move automatically.  I can only move the timeline by hand.  Some observations:  When I boot from a shut-down computer and open up a .prel file, the timeline plays just fine using the play button.  If the machine sits idol and goes into sleep mode/, when I click the mouse to turn things back on, the timeline/play button no longer work.  All other functionality appears to be fine.  If I then exit and re-start the program, the timeline will not move at all, and the only way to correct is to reboot the whole computer.Also, I have noticed another trigger...if I have rebooted and re-launched PE, all is fine with the play button until I use Pan/Zoom.  As soon as I do, and go back to timeline, the

1.  I have an old version of Premiere Elements (4) and I'm trying to upload a long video to YouTube.  When I use Premiere Elements' Share function/online sharing/YouTube/ , I get an error message saying my video exceeds the maximum duration supported by the destination (10 minutes) and it won't let me proceed unless I shorten the video.  But YouTube no longer has that limitation.  Is there a way to override the error message and have the video uploaded this way despite its length?  The length is no longer an issue to YouTube, only to Adobe in this older software.2.  In the alternative, I tried using the Share function again, this time specifying Personal Computer instead of Online Sharing as the destination.  This lets you pick among different file types to use for your video, at least some of which are supported by YouTube.  (Such as MPEG). But when you try to save the video as an MPEG, an error box appears entitled "Activating a Component" sayi

I cannot figure out how to pan and zoom on a vertical picture on adobe premiere 15 without distorting the actual image. Could anyone tell me if this is possible and if so how to do that?

When launching the video editor from Premier Elements 15 it shows an error asking to close the program with no further instruction. I cannot acess the editor!

I want to make my clips more stabilized, but I get the film in a frame. I want to keep the whole frame, but can't fine the right setting for it.

So I've had Premiere elements for a minute now, and have exported 2 videos successfully but today I was trying to export my video since 11:04 am to 8:39. I was exporting it in 1080p, like I've done before with no problem but now I try and export, goes good but then gets at 47% and doesn't move past it! I've tried 6 times already and the same thing just keeps on happening! Why?..I don't know!! This is annoying as I was going to post my video today and could've done it but it didn't export!My Specs:Win. 10 proIntel i5-5th gen256gb ssd 8 gb ram

Can I export directly to a USB from Elements 15?I tried exporting a project yesterday from Elements 15 using my partners MacBook Air (OS X El Capitan 10.11.6). Because there is not enough space on The Mac I exported via the device settings, on HD 1920x1080 and chose my USB stick as the destination. However, once the export finished, it did not export the video properly? It came up as a MOV. file but wasn't unplayable and only 24 bytes, when it was a 45min video that should be around 5GB. The USB has more than enough free space on it! Am I doing anything wrong? Would I be able to export and save to an external hard drive instead? Or does it have to be saved to the Mac or Laptop itself? And help would be really appreciated.

HelloI asked this same question a few days ago and from my inbox I cannot see that anyone has answered so, with permission, I will ask it again.When you click Create (new project) Slideshow in Premier Elements 11 Organiser, you see this firstly:click OK and then you get to the Timeline:You then begin to add your photos (Add Media) as in the above screenshot. I have landscape and portrait shaped images, but the portrait images are sliced off at the top so that they become landscape images. How can I show my landscape photos as landscape and my portrait photos as portrait (vertical) photos, please? All the photos have the same dimensions in px.Thanks!Steve

I'm new to Adobe Premier Elements and am having problems.  I'm primary using it to edit video from a DJI Phantom 4 Pro.My first problem was that my original shoot was using the h.265 4k encoding format.  It never occurred to me that a company like Adobe wouldn't support a new (but not brand new) codec.Then I completely redid the shoot using mp4 h.264 4k/30 format.  Most of the media (photos and videos) imported fine, but some generated the message: The importer reported a generic error.  The failure was consistent on specific files regardless of whether imported in batch or singly.The failed videos play just fine in the standard Windows player.  I don't see any relationship between failing/succeeding on the videos in terms of size, etc.  Some do, some don't.A "generic error" is obviously not helpful.  I've been CTO of five software companies and frankly would have fired someone for this.Is there a known cause with a fix, or at least a circumvention, o

My pc recently thought I had a fake version of windows.It deleted a lot of files. I have Photoshop and Elements 10 and I still have the folders:Adobe Premiere Elements 10Elements 10 OrganizerPhotoshop Elements 10I can't find the launcher, please help me locate it.I also have no copies left of Elements (wich I need) I do still have a copy of photoshop.

On play back I notice that I wanted to have the background option to change it from black to white since I am placing various small clip on the stage which black does not work for me. So, how do I change the black backdrop stage (when the video plays) to white backdrop stage so when it plays back the scene is white and not black?

My software was working on my machine for about 6 months and recently stopped working.  I am able to get to the welcome screen but after I click the Video Editor I get a windows error saying "Adobe Primiere  Elements has stopped working."I have uninstalled and reinstalled it without any success. I have tried updating my video driver (per Adobe suggestion) but also nothing.

Hello tech people,I am trying to build a package to be deployed in our internal app store. But i am having trouble finding the correct parameters to silently uninstall the app.If im going the use the uninstall string, end-user needs to check the box "Remove User Preference" and click uninstall. I imported mp4 files from my Go Pro to a timeline. Sound was working great. I added some text and restarted the playback, and now no sound. I did not do ANYTHING except added text in Expert Mode. Running Premiere Elements 15, totally up to date. WTF? This program is pretty glitchy. BTW,  I have i7 latest generation, 16 GB of Ram, Realtek High Definition Audio. Sound works on PC, just not in PE. If anyone has seen experienced this issue before, I would greatly appreciate feedback. Right now, I am rendering the video to see if this corrects the problem.Jeff

I made a project in version 12, but I read that I can stabilize clips in version 13 and newer. So I downloaded a trial version of 14 and when I open the project I get the message that Adobe can't open because of an unknown error.What can be wrong?

I have used my Panasonic HC- X929 camcorder to recorded my video (with SanDisk Extreme SDXC  45MB/S) to edit my video, it was AVCHD (MTS) video format； During my editing in the Adobe Premiere Elements 11, it had worked complete well with its sound and music, even with editing music and burned my Blue-ray Disc.Recently I have recorded my video with SanDisk Extreme PRO SDXC 95MB/S, during the editing in the same software , the video (video 1) is normal but it has no sound signals in the video (sound 1), it remain blank！Now I am using Windows 7；all of the SanDisk SD 95MB/S data was first download to the PC videos HDD, from this videos HDD then shifted to the software for editing；During my editing video in Adobe Premiere Elements 11, I did not see audio waves in audio layer；now I am trying a test version Adobe Premiere Elements 15 for editing, its occurred 2 problems：1. Video in SD 95MB/S -  video signals remain fine, but still no sound signals or audio waves2. Video in SD 45MB/S

Hello everyone.I m having an issue when i use effect controls on adobe premiere.When i need to change the parameters (for example scale, position etc) i can only doing by digiting numbers, not like scrolling left-right with my pen, like i was used to.I have no idea and no clue if there s some setting that wend down.
