Premiere Elements

Okay I have read the past answers and information regarding speech bubbles and still have a question. I am using PE 11 and I am on my timeline and go to graphics and select a speech bubble. I size it for the photo, add the text and hit save. Than when I go to play back my timeline when it proceeds to that clip the speech bubble has changed in size and is no longer readable. What is going on, and what do I need to do differently? Thanks

I'm trying to edit a .mpg file in Premiere Elements 15.  The video looks fine when I play it in Windows Media Player.  When I add it to a PE project it seems to have the frames out of order.  I tried to render it and the same effect is there.  It seems to flicker back and forth showing frames at random.   It's an old video from 2003.  I looked at the file properties and have this information:width 720height 480DATA RATE 6000 kbpsTOTAL BIT RATE 7536 kpbsframe rate 29 frames/secondI found one article that suggested I might have to change the settings in PE but nothing in settings seems to match. (I'm not familiar with the meaning of most of the settings). I will greatly appreciate any help you can give me.

Bislang konnte ich problemlos analoge Videos mittels WDM kompatiblen Gerät (Medien hinzufügen, Web Kamera oder WDM kompatibles Gerät) in Premiere einbinden.Seit wenigen Tagen habe ich bei meinem  Windows 10 das Update 1703 (Creators) aufgespielt. Seitdem bricht der Import nach ca. 1 Minute ab. Ich weiß nicht, ob es einen Zusammenhang gibt, denke aber ja. PE 14.1 on a WIN7 PC...I know that one can add certain symbols to the "Default Text" e.g. from a windows machine and when using the Type Tool:press the keyboard shortcut Alt+0169 from the numeric keypad to insert a copyright symbol.Similarly Alt+0176 for the degree symbol.I'm looking for the code to create a simple right arrow i.e. a better version of:  Fire damage ==>Is there a list of such symbols anywhere?  I did some searching but the table I found was for ASCII and the known symbols did not match.

I currently have Premiere 13 and am interested to learn of the newest version had more choices of Movie Menu's. If so, is there any way to see the Movie Menu choices without having to purchase. I like 13, but would pay for 15 if the Movie Menu choices were improved.

I suspect they are not part of Premiere Elements, but I need Spanish language accents. Can anyone tell me if they can be found for Elements 15? Thank you.

Hi all, I created a HD film (camera “Sony AX53”) in HD (XAVC S) format. I burned the film on a Blu-Ray disk (M-Disc -R). Everything worked fine and I can play my disk on my “Panasonic DMP-BDT 465”. The only problem is that I cannot use the fast forward or backward key on my Panasonic. A message “Action not allowed” pops up on the TV screen. I know this from other purchased films with some parts (advertisements) of the disk but when the film starts, it works fine. So there must be something that prevents the use of these functions. I don’t find anything about this in the Premiere manuals, nor in the doc of the Blu-ray reader. Can someone help please?For completeness: my film is created with Premiere 14 on a Windows 10 PC (with Creators update). Specs film: 1920 x 1080; H.264 Blu-Ray; 25 fps; Dolby Digital, 192kbps 48 kHz; 2 ; 39 min.Kind regards,Johan

Hi, I have been using Photoshop elements 15 and premier elements 15 for a couple of months and last week i started to have a problem with my mouse pointer. When trying to add video transitions my mouse pointer changes to two pointers, one black and the other white with a circle underneath, once this happens everything freezes and i need to go to the task manager to close the program.I have downloaded all updates and even re-formatted the computer but the problem continues. Could someone please help as this is becoming frustrating as i can't do anything.

How do I use PE 15 without internet connection?  When blocked via firewall it takes forever for the application to boot up.  Would like to use software without Adobe being a "partner" in everything I do. 

I can't figure out how to make Motion Tracking work and all the online tutorials are for older editions with a different interface. Can someone help?

I’m having an unusual problem with saved project using disc menus.  I have a large project with scene markers but without any movie menus.  It saves and opens correctly.  I can add a menu, burn discs, and save the project.  However when I open the project again (now with menus) PrE 15 fails.The failure message is from Windows,WeFault.exe – No Disk “There is no disk in the drive.  Please insert a disk into drive F:Cancel/Try Again/ContinueBoth Cancel and Continue responses result in PrE  terminating with Windows message “Adobe Premiere Elements 15 has stopped working”The crazy thing is that I don’t have an F: drive and, per windows, drives F, G, H, and I are “USB drives”.  I do use an external US flash drive, however it shows up as drive L.  I also have an external USB hard drive that shows up as drive K.  This happens repeatedly.  Does anyone have an explanation or workaround?After losing my project the first time, I recreated it and sa

Hello, having problems with Premiere Elements 14 NL-version, when trying to add media from 'files and folders'. As soon as I click that option, PE will crash with the info that the program doesn't work anymore.Am using win7, 32 bits, 16Gb ram (or whatever win7 will use), checked for over 2o hours by memtest 86+, as far as I know all drivers are updated. Bios, videocard (Geforce GTX 750 Ti 2Gb ddr5), soundcard, network, win7, virusscan Kaspersky, all up-to-date.Inspecting the error I have found:name of the error module HSL.DLL, version 14.0.0.0exceptioncode: 0xc0000005error offset: 0x00282a53id error proces: 0x17e8.Have this problem for more than three weeks now. It is difficult for me to add info to a web-based application since FireFox has troubles too, keeping stable long enough to post a message.Hope you can give me some direction where to find a solution for this crashes. HelloI have three short movie clips with different properties that I need to place along the same Timeline. They will be burnt to a DVD for viewing on a UK TV DVD player when complete, which means that the movie - when the three clips are eventually joined together - needs to have a frame rate of 25fps.The other properties are as follows:Clip1 29 fps 640 width x 480 heightClip2 29fps 720 width x 480 heightClip3 30fps 640 width x 480 heightI can't tell from those dimensions if these clips are widescreen or normal but, eventually, they will be viewed on a widescreen TV. At the beginning of this project, in Premiere Elements 11, is it best if I go to File | New | Project | click on the 'Change settings button', select PAL, AVCHD | DV | Widescreen 48Khz and then commit Prem Elements 11 to 'Force selected Project Setting on this project'?Thank you.

Hi,Does anybody know if the  "Elements 15 & Premiere Elements 15 Student and Teacher Edition" is a full version of the original  "Elements 15 & Premiere Elements 15" I have not found any information to contrary but I have not found any confirmation that it is the same either.Thanks for any info. 

Hi, This is probably a stupid question but I downloaded the trial version of Premiere Elements and soon decided to buy. Did the whole download thing with that and it seemed to work as expected but it's still the trial version with the watermark!Should I have uninstalled the trial first before installing the bought version?If i uninstall the trial, I assume I'll have to install the full version again- will I have to download it again?Andrea.

I bought Photoshop Elements 15 and Premiere Elements 15 separately and have both installed. But I can't open the photo editor in either programs. Is this because I have bougt these programs separately instead of together, or is there any other explanation?

I record 3 audio layers in my mp4s via OBS. When i come to edit the videos afterwards i can only extract layer 1 on elements. Is the program not able to see the other two audio levels, or am i just not looking in the right direction?

Hello, I have been using PE14 for over a year without a hiccup. I took advantage of reduced pricing on PE15. I get the above message right after double-clicking the icon. It doesn't even try to run. The same for the Photoshop Elements 15 that came with it. PE14 still runs just fine.I tried some of the old fixes, setting my BIOS to Default, I also notice another post here saying to disable Lavasoft, I did so. I have the latest NVidia driver, and with Win10, you just can't get away from updates.I have Win10Pro 64bit, Intel i7 3770, 16GB RAM, over 70% free on a 4TB disc 0% fragmentation, and I haven't cussed it yet. When zooming in on the timeline a horizontal blue line appears on the right hand side of the current time indicator. Once this blue line reaches the end of the video it stops playback before the last few frames have shown. Is there a way to stop this and allow the time indicator to make it to the end of the clip?Thanks.

Started a project and want to use 720 p resolution with different frame rates (30 fps and 60 fps). Already tried to mix the two types and it does not look very good. There must be a way to combine both and still have good results. what can I do??

HiRunning 1920x1080 all the way - but wonder about what is usually available 24p or 50i.H264 has predictive frame in between I-frames, but how is this done with this kind of encoding.If you are to encode just every other line you will get a lot of change on every P-frame.Or is every frame presented and encoded the same, and player just picks every other line for presentation?Like if 25p original, that you encode that H264 25 fps and it is up to player to pick each frame at double speed and presenting top line frame first, and then next frame 2nd line down every other line.I like the smoother look on 50i, since I run PAL - but like it is tiny bit more grainy.So would be great to know if any good reason for that.Thanks.

I am adding a nature audio clip to my DVD project, it has piano music with nature sounds in the background. Is there any way that I can lower the volume of the piano thus increasing the nature part of the audio clip? It is a prerecorded clip. Thanks

I have been using a Vixia HFR 700 HD video camera to tape videos for some time.  I have never had an issue editing them using Elements 14 on my PC.  Recently, I made several videos on the same memory card and downloaded them to my PC for editing.  This time 4 out of the 7 videos play just fine when loaded as media on timeline for editing, but the other 3 won't play properly.  I enter them as project assets, move them to the timeline, and when I hit play the video plays fine but after about 5 seconds, the audio starts skipping and rambles on in a scrambled skipping mess.  The audio goes haywire for the balance of the 10-15 minute video.  I've tried rendering with no change in result.  The videos play fine on my PC using windows media player, but when I try to play them on Elements, the audio won't sync to the video.  The weird part is that other videos recorded on the same memory card at the same time work fine.  Is there a setting or adjustm
