Premiere Elements

I am using overlay title  text in a in a premel 14 movie project and would like to learn how to surround the text with a rectangular  border (not a background)Thanks for your help

Alright so here in NSW Australia our government got some deals at Adobe and word so students with the government email that ends with education.nsw.gov get the, for free limited to a year or so. One of them is the Premiere Elements 15. Now I got a huge problem here I have a Macbook Pro Model A1278, so go to the website to download the software I need for my Visual Arts Body of Work Premiere Elements 15 - Picture below shows the item, price and download I click downloadNow I'm sent to this - I successfully complete step one and instal it - But as I click on step two to download the SDX file this is where things get complicated - So I'm sent to a tab which shows the product and a download loading time and bar - when the bar reaches 100% it straight goes back to zero with the caption "unpacking" with the bar at zero % not moving an inch while the software appears in my desktopBut I cant open the software when I click on it a sign comes up saying along the lines of "this application cannot

I just upgraded from premier elements 12 to 15.  Now my video projects prepared in PRE 12 will not play.  I get the message "compressor/decompressor(codec) not installed.  How can I fix this.  I am using the same computer (Windows 10) and when I open the old PRE 12 program the projects still run perfectly.

if I click my mouse outside of adobe premiere elements stops playing audio. I have multiple monitors and often I have to use other programs while premier is playing audio. Unfortunately if I click the mouse outside of the elements window audio stops. Is there a setting or a work around fix for this?Please email me at Robert.hill53@gmail.com

I bought adobe premier elements 12.I have edited 2 movies the first came out o k but the second in in black and white only. I don't want that and I didn't buy the program for this frustrating crap. Please help.

My playback on Premiere Elements 14 is very choppy even after rendering. So much so that it freezes on one image as the timeline is progressing. Choppy sound too. I clicked on the exclamation point in the bottom left corner of the timeline and the event page opened and said Audio Dropout Detected on about 20 different clips. Once I clicked remove all, it got a little smoother on the playback. But this keeps occurring? Why? what does it mean?

I have seen this type of question and have tried to get an answer from reviewing what others have posted, but nothing there seems to address my concern. Premiere Elements 15Windows 10Nero 2015I upgraded Premiere Elements the other day to version 15 from an older version. Tried to create a new DVD (no menu). The only option to burn to the hard drive is to create a .ISO file. In the past, PE created a full disc image that could then be burned to the DVD by selecting the VIDEO_TS files and so on. This does not seem to be the case anymore.As far as I can tell, the .ISO file is okay. However, I don't know, because when I tried to use Nero (2015 version) to burn the .ISO file to a DVD, it failed, twice. It got started burning the image to the DVD, but then it just stopped and told me it failed with no error other than that. I don't know if the problem is with the .ISO file, or what. It has been a little while since I have burned a DVD on this computer, but everything seems to work.I tried to

So basically i have a still image that i want to move fast on top of a video clip. When using motion effects to move the image around its at the same speed and i'm looking to change the speed of its movement. I'm using premiere elements 14.0Thanks.

There was a previous question about Premiere Elements requesting answers about needing a disk to run, but the answers were not relevant to my OS.I have Windows 10 Home Version 1067 OS 64-bit on 64x based processor -My Adobe Premiere Elements was running enough to work with it to edit a video from my phone a couple of months ago.  I cannot remember if the error message popped up or not, but I was able to work around it.1) I now get the "Adobe Premiere Elements.exe - No Disk" error (red circle with x) "There is no disk in the drive.  Please insert a disk into drive E:".  This has 3 buttons, "cancel", "try again", or "Continue".  If I click these buttons repeatedly, eventually this message goes away and it looks like I can use the program. I'm brand new to PE.  I'm using version 15 on an iMac.When I try to apply Pan and Zoom to my photos my photo shows as a rectangle and the pan or zoom selection area only sizes to a square.  I can't select the whole photo due to the difference.Do I need to resize my photos?  If so, how do you do this?

Whenever I load photos or video clips onto my PC, I find Elements has automatically inserted them into a catalogue, even though I have not imported them through Organiser. Quite often I have no intention of opening or using these files in APE, so when I next use APE, I then have to remove them from the catalogue. Is there any way to stop this happening?

Hi,I just bought the adobe premiere elements 14 last month.It only shows one video timeline. I'm looking to add more timelines and play some of videos that play at the same time. Like having a ghost effect with 5 or more video clips playing played together at the same time.Can I do this in this software or have I just bought the wrong software to do it.

I am having problems retaining my audio settings in Premiere Elements 9. I have for many years created videos combining various GoPro Clips in Premiere Elements 9. I do all my editing  using the Sceneline not the Timeline. After combining the video clips I then add music tracks. I then use the Audio Mixer to increase and decrease both the original audio (from the GoPro) and the music. In the past these settings have remained when I replay the clip with the audio volume going up and down as per my settings on the Audio Mixer. On my latest video, the settings made with the audio mixer are not retained. In other words, when I replay the video, all the previous audio levels I have set using the Audio Mixer have disappeared. Is there some setting I need to change that keeps the levels I set? I do not want to learn another way using Sceneline as I know my previous attempts using the methodology have always worked - I just can't work out why it's not working now. Any suggestions welcomed

When I open Premiere Elements 15, I get a notification saying that I have a new update - Photoshop Camera Raw 3.8. I click "Install Now", and after asking me if I want to update, it starts, but when the bar reaches 100%, it says that there was an error installing the update, and that I should check the error log. When I click on the link for the error log, the link doesn't work. Please help.

I am considering buying this product, but need to know if I can take the audio of one video and put it to the picture of another video. I use two GoPros to film one event, but the GoPro editing software does not separate audio from video. Hope this question makes sense. Thanks.

After not having used Premiere Elements for a couple of months I find it's not launching anymore.Starting Premiere it first launches the dialog where i can choose Photo Editor, Organizer or Video Editor. For the past month or so, I have been creating several projects in Première Elements 12 in order to transfer home videos from mini DVDs to larger DVDs.  I have created 10-15 projects from a total of 30-40 mini DVDs, and burned each project to a large DVD without any problems (other than some quality issues, which is a separate matter) until recently.During my last two projects, I have noticed that not all of the video on some of the mini DVDs is being captured when I "Add Media".  For the first project, I did not have any issue with the first two mini DVDs, but then noticed that not all of the video on the third mini DVD was being captured.  After trying various fixes described below, I thought that it might be an issue with the project or the disc, so I deleted the project and video files, and started a new project with completely different mini DVDs.  Almost the exact same thing happened (no problem with the first two discs, problem with the third).  The proj

Hi,I am new to Premiere Elements 15. I want to create my  own drop title in a graphics editor and import it into Adobe Premiere Elements 15 as a Drop title. Is this possible and what type of file can you import ? I tried to add an image to  an existing drop title, but I am not able to select the image to move it to the desired location on the canvas. It  seems to be fixed to an area on the canvas.

I am trying to create a video and every time I insert the media it plays for like 5 seconds then the sound is gone. I have never had this problem before and the sound is fine when playing the video out of adobe. I tried deleting it and re-uploading to no avail.

Hello,I recently installed the nvidia quadro k620 on a few of out PC's. The only issue I am having with them is when we open up Premiere Elements 15, we get an error stating driver is incompatible. I installed the latest drivers from nvidias website.I tried deleting the baddrivers.txt but no success.Help!Thanks,Kevin

Hello,Recently I have tried to install Adobe Premiere Elements 9 on a Mac and I would like to import an avi file which is made on a windows computer in Adobe Premiere Elements 4 but every time I try to import it, I receive an 'allgemeiner Fehler' ('general error' or something like that). I have tried to to find answers on internet and wonder if it could be something with codecs but I am not so fit with these kind of things and if it would really have something to do with the codecs, it would make sense to me that this would already be named in the error-message.Does anyone have an idea what it could be and what I can do to fix it?Thanks in advance!
