Premiere Elements

I am using elements 14 to make videos with 4k and 1080 video . When I am editing the video it looks great , specially because the raw video colors are kind of dull , but when I apply auto color fix it looks great , but when I feel I got the video I want and try to save it to my computer at the highest setting it becomes very pixelated . playback is horrible . I took 4k video of snow scenery , but it looked kind of white washed , but when I applied auto color correct it looked great , a lot of detail the sky looked blue the mountains looked great , but when I saved it to my computer the playback was horrible . what gives?

I finished my project,save it  and closed the application,when I returned to work on it  in the time line all the pictures and video where replaced with a red message in multiple languages,when i click on them I get the following message This type of file is not supported,or the required codec is not installed[Here is the list of all Adobe forums... https://forums.adobe.com/welcome][Moved from Comments forum to specific Program forum... Ultimately several questions here, but I'll start with the background. I still need to make professional looking DVDs, but since "upgrading" to MacOX Sierra both iDVD and DVD Studio Pro have stopped working. After looking at several pieces of software noticed Premiere Elements mentioned, and have been working with the trial version the last couple of days. It can more or less do what I want (main movie with chapters and extra movies as additional content/DVD extras), not great, but workable. So that's good, and it actually does export, which is where iDVD & DVDSP failed. Issues1. The quality of the video using the limited Disc options is very poor. I'm shooting HD but exporting for DVD widescreen (720x480). I have a pretty full disc (300 mb free) so I understand some compression will occur. Also, I've been doing this a long time, since before HD, so I know what to expect from DVD quality video.So how do I know the quality is poor? Before stumbling upon Elements, I "upgraded" my Toa

Hello folks, I have had 6 editions of PE the latest being 15.  I use Windows 7 as an operating system and have and I7 intel processor and 16 GB Ram 4T of storage so things should be ok from a hardware issue.My DVD burner, however, does not support BlueRay but I don't mind burning at lower resolution because of smaller screen size I have at the house.  I can not for the life of me get the DVD burner to work with this PE15.  It worked fine when I burned in PE13.  I have tried many things, it seems like the program does not see or recognize my DVD burner.  I tried a newer burner I used for laptops and different brand with no success.  I think the issue is in hardware settings, will insert a screenshot, give me some suggestions, please?  The brand DVDs I burned with PE13 do not burn in PE15, I have tried 7 different brands to date. I tried to burn the movie to my hard drive and have another program burn it, this also did not work.  Will check in the

I have a problem to use cross fade with Mac. I can't drag and drop any of the cross fade features in my video. It is simple not possible, it is blocked and I see a little sign there (see red arrow in pic below). Yesterday everything runs smooth. I use Premiere Elements 14 and a Mac OS Sierra 10.12.3 Billion Thanks for any help

Ich will aus einem Video einen Rahmen ausschneiden so dass, der Teil der am Ende übrig bleibt nur noch da ist und der Rest Transparent ist, dass ich es in anderen Videos verwenden kann. Der Bereich den ich weghaben will ist ziemlich genau abgegrenzt und bewegt sich im laufe des Clips nicht ( Im Bild ist der Teil der übrig bleiben soll zwischen den beiden blauen Linien (die ich im nachhinein mit Photoshop rein editiert habe damit der Bereich klar ist )) aber es hat keine einheitliche Farbe was alle Tutorials die ich in dem Bereich gefunden habe nutzlos machen und da es ein Videoclip ist kann ich es nicht in Photoshop bearbeiten.Nochmal damit es Verständlicher ist:Ich möchte am Ende den mittleren Teil in ein anderes Video rein editieren ohne das ich den oberen und unteren Teil zu sehen habeIch bin mir nicht sicher ob ich es verständlich erklärt habe wenn nicht tut es mir leid aber ich hoffe jemand kann mir weiterhelfen.Danke für Antworten, Morten( P.S. ich benutze Adobe Premiere Elements

Bit of an odd one this...I have a clip taken from a television interview a few years ago, which was clearly in widescreen, but has been copied to VHS in 4:3, and thence onto a DVD, still in the wrong aspect ratio, and everything is too skinny.Is there any trick I can use in Elements to stretch the picture back to widescreen?

I have been using this software for 6 years now and today I think it crashed my computer. I was trying to render a video and it wouldn't render and gave me the "bad image" microsoft error ever since then and I can't get back into it.Any ideas why the video won't render? I have had no problems with it until today and when I ran a malware scan, adobe came up flagged as causing problems on my computer.Anyone know if I need to purchase the latest version to do my video editing since this one is old?Please let me know.Thanks!

I used Adobe Premier Elements 8 yesterday and it was working just fine, but not today.Now when I try opening it it goes through the normal start up procedure until the very last step of opening the project requested onto the screen.  Instead it shrinks down to just a tab on my task bar.  If I click this a few times a small window opens over the task bar showing the project but gives me no way to expand it to fill the screen.I am running an up to date version of Windows 7 Professional with Service Pack 1.My computer has an AMD Athlon II X4 260 Processor and 8 GB of RAM.I have tried opening a couple different projects both from my desk top and from Windows Explorer.  I have also tried creating a new project.  Windows Explorer shows the new project was created but all these lead to the same problem detailed above.Any Ideas on how to get PE8 running again?

I often need to increase the audio higher than +6 but can't find a way to do that.  I can move the db level up to 6, but no higher.  What if I want to go to +10 or +12.  How can I do that.Thanks for help on this one.

I'm on a windows 10 laptop and just installed an old Premiere elements 9 disc I had.  Dragging any kind of media into the timeline and moving them within the timeline causes the timeline to zoom in to what looks like the top left hand corner of the timeline, making it very difficult to use.  Changing the zoom with the slider clears the issue until another clip is moved.  Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Hi,I am having two issues with importing/converting .mts (AVCHD) files into .mp4 to edit with in A.P.E 15. This problem started in APE 14 which is why I bought 15.1) If I import .mts files into APE, there does not appear to be a way to merge the files into one file. (I am not talking about grouping) files. The .mts files are properly audio synched, but they have sound gaps at the end of each file, that will fix when the clips are merged. Is it true that APE cannot merge .mts files, or, is there an APE solution for it?2) Now, if I convert the AVCHD into an .mp4 file and load it into APE, even after conforming, the audio is not synced. I understand this is because the camera may have used variable frame rates, and the converter and editor cannot compensate for the inconsistent frame rates in clips, and thus the synch is lost. Is is true that APE cannot auto-fix these sync issues when conforming files?I am testing external conversion program suggested by external web posters. These tools

Please look at the attached snapshots. One is from Premiere Elements 13 and the other one is from another known video editor program. I would like to know how I can expand a video file into scenes in Premiere Elements timeline, same like the one showing on the other video editor program's timeline?

Every time I click and drag a transition between two clips (video or audio) a stupid pop up window titled "Transition Adjustments" pops up. How do I disable this time consuming, work flow halting, and creative juice drying new feature? After 3 weeks of failure after failure to burn my project to DVD, is there anyone who can help me? I have Adobe Photoshop Elements 6, and Premiere Elements 4, which have worked well for many years. Recently Elements decided it needed a MPEG2 code, Unable to get one, since the program is so old, another forum member suggested downloading Premiere Elements 15. I bought the program, and downloaded the project to elements, but have wasted numerous DVD's trying to burn the project. The help video suggested downloading NERO, and even that didn't work. I am at my wits end, and feel like I've just wasted $100 on a program I will never be able to use. Using Premier Elements 14, all the latest updates are installed.I am trying to add an mp3 to a premier elements 14 project, a file that I recorded, and when I place the track into the editor and hit play, no audio is created; if i double click the file, i can play it and it also plays in iTunes and Groove. I have made a small video showing ( view the video)  this exact issue, any ideas on how to fix this?

I discovered recently this when I edited my first 4K video (I previously worked with HD video).  With HD, my titles were typically in 64-72 point Ariel font, which looked fine on the screen.  However, when I moved to 4K video, the 72 point titles were tiny and had to double the point size to make them comparable with HD. At first I thought this was a bug, but then read in the online Help,“The physical size of the font depends on the resolution of the image. A capital letter in 72‑point text is approximately 1‑inch high in an image that is 72 ppi. Higher resolutions reduce a given text point size because the pixels are packed more tightly in higher resolution images.”Apparently PrE was designed this way.  Regardless, does anyone know why?  To me, it would be much more user friendly if font size were relative to the total image rather than the number of pixels.  For example, a font size of 100 might represent 10% of the vertical image dimension, regardless of th

I am a fairly new user with Elements 15. I am trying to preserve some old family footage taken on VHS in 1988! This has been copied to DVD via a DVD recorder. I have imported the VOB files and edited the footage in Elements. However, on exporting, movement is very jerky. I have tried exporting every format - AVI, MP4, MPEG etc. On looking through other advice I have applied Flicker removal, which gives the best result yet, but still nowhere near as good as the original.When the files were initially imported, I got a "generic error message" but no details, and the clips looked OK on screen. Are there particular settings I need to apply for VOB files?

I have been using PE 12 expert mode for years.  When I drag my audio clip from project assets to my timeline to edit, the clip shows up as a green rectangular clip but I cannot see the audio waves inside the clip to edit.  The audio will still play, but the clip is an empty green clip and can't see audio to edit!  This is my first time on a forum, can someone please help?  I am working on a project must be finished asap, thank you!

Trying to get elements 13 to work prop;erly is getting frustrating.When I move (for example) from elive to media in organizer it takes for ever.  It seems to take forever to bring up resources also.I have a GB network here with multiple computers and 2 1GB switches to my Netgear quad router with 3 bands  .  The power computer has 32GB ram, 1TB of available storage in the computer drives, 8TB storage in my cloud drives, Intel 7 quad processor, Nvidia graphics card with the latest firmware loaded.I have Elements 13.1 installed.So, why is Elements 13 so slow  and is it fixable?  It borders on not wanting to use it.Alan
