Premiere Elements

I am on Windows 10 using Adobe Premiere Elements 10. I recorded several hours of video using the same camera and settings I always do. For whatever reason, on this latest batch, everything looks great and does what I want in preview in Premiere, but when I export, either to my computer or to YouTube, it's all blurry! I have taped and exported video since this session without issues. I bought premier elements 14 last year and have had to uninstall the program due to an error message appearing when I tried to load it up. After editing a number of HD video I return to some older non-HD material!This was recorded with a Sony PC 100E Camcorder.  In the old days (& with a PC equipped witha Firewire interface) the videos were read out by Pinnacle 10 creating .avi files.Now with PE 14.1 on a WIN7 PC I have created an approx 13-minutes video from these .avi files.The frame size is 720 x 576.The first output file I created was via Export & Share then Devices / Computerusing the default resolution of SD 576 (720 x 576).I used the default format of MP4-H.264Since its only a short video I set Quality to High (Bit Rate went from 6 to 10 Mbps).This produced a .mp4 file that was 1013 MB in size which I copied to a USB stick.The file played back OK on the PC.I tried the USB stick in a (fairly old) DVD player & it came up with "Wrong Codex" (or similar).I tried in a Blu-Ray player & it worked fine.Second try (after only marginal edits to the project) as above but with Format MPEG - PS.Quality set

My question is if you can open a project file that you used with Premiere Elements 11 or 12 with the newer Premiere Elements 15 version. Can you do this?

Just starting to play with this program using one clip. I put an iris transition at the beginning of the clip and, as expected, it's like an iris opening up - initially everything is black and the clip is shown in an increasingly larger circle until everything is revealed.I am trying now to figure out how to put an iris closing transition at the end of the clip. If I put the same transition at the end of the clip, no matter what options I choose, all I get is a black circle that keeps increasing until everything is black (because there is no clip after the one I'm using). Isn't there a way to do the opposite - gradually blacken the video as if an iris were closing?Thanks.

I am creating a project and exporting to DVD.  It seems I have too many separate video clips as the menus created will only allow me so many scenes.  When I play this movie in my DVD player, will I still be able to use the remote and click next for each clip or will it be one long clip.Is there a better way to handle my project if I want a DVD.  I have about 50 video clips.Thanks!!

I tried to self help on this but I failed.I added a Dip to Black transition to my entire project, like 40 video clips.  I just wanted a smooth transition between clips.  I played the movie and its like the transitions are not there.  I see the duration is set to only 1 second.  That may be too short.How can I apply a longer duration to all transitions at once so I don't have to do all one at a time.If I don't like this transition, how to I select all the transitions at once and delete them.  I can't see to find this.Thanks!

What happened to the options for rolling titles in Premiere Elements 15?  In prior versions, you could specify options for Preroll, Ease-in, Ease-out, etc. and I found these options most valuable.  However, in PrE 15 (“expert view”) I can only specify “default roll”.  Am I missing something?Thanks

I have found many missing but basic graphics and sound effects on my PE/PP 14 program. Are there any add-on packages offered by Adobe or third parties for additional graphics, etc that will sync and incorporate into Elements?

Hello,I recently redownloaded Adobe Premiere Elements 11, but whenever I try to open up the program it crashes and give an error message saying, "Adobe Premiere Elements 11 has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program, but have had no luck. Since this was my first time opening the in a good long while, I was curious to see if it had to anything to do with the switch to  Windows 10, but I haven't found any forums concerning this issue specifically. Every time I move my cursor in the CTI it starts scrolling again. I want to move it and have it stop from scrolling without having to tap the space bar. Is there a way to do this?

I have just installed adobe photoshop elements 12 & adobe premiere elements 12 on my Mac. After doing this I have various error messages popping up with this title "CAHeadless has encountered an error." two of which are "[/Adobe/premiere/elements/main/MediaCore/ASL/Foundation/Make/Mac/../../Src/DirectoryRegistry.cpp-283]" and "[/Adobe/premiere/elements/main/CAHeadless/Make/Mac/../../Src/CAHeadless.cpp-683]". I do not understand either error message or know the process to rectify the problem.

I am making a video with primarily still images. I have an issue in that an image I am using earlier in the sequence keeps appearing for a very brief instance several frames later. I have cut and deleted clips and reinserted them but cannot get rid of the phantom image. I cannot see it on the timeline but I know it is there because it comes up in the playback monitor. Furthermore when I try to insert a transition between the clips it only shows 16 frames vs the normal 30. Does anyone have any idea how I can get rid of what I cannot see on the timeline? It is driving me crazy!!!

PE15 visual display does not sync with audio track in Expert/Edit mode

Hello. Recently I found a disc for Adobe premiere Elements 10. I Was Using windows movie maker, so I was excited for an upgrade. I installed it and gave it a test run. I was trying to make a 1080p HD Video, But when I put in the video I wanted to edit, It did not show up in the preview box at the top left, just an empty gray box. When I click on the preview box, the current frame of the video shows up, but when I play it, the video does not move. The audio still moves and plays, but the video Is stuck on 1 single frame. I tried all the different project settings/presets for a different HD one that works, but none did. I even tried lowering the resolution to 720p but that didn't work either. It only works with video presets that are non HD (ex: 480p). I also tried one that worked in non-HD and changed the actual preset file to HD quality, but that gave the same error. At this point I'm convinced It's a problem with the software and how it handles HD quality (Please Tell Me If I'm Wrong)

I have Premiere Elements 12 running on Windows 8.1. I OWN this product, it's not CC. Bought it a couple years ago, have used it for several projects, now it simply won't open. I tried the troubleshooting suggestions on the forum from 2014; removed a line below the #  ::1    localhost. Didn't help. Tried option 2, renaming SLStore, didn't help. After I renamed SLStore, I got a dialog box which had me put in the serial number of my program. (I registered it as soon as I installed it).  I did so and got the same error message from Windows; I don't remember the exact wording, I can't even get the error anymore, but it was something like Windows can't run this, we'll let you if we find a solution to the problem. Right now I can't even get the welcome screen.We recently moved and I have a new ISP, plus just installed a new video card, a GEForce 1050Ti. I suppose either or both of these things could be causing the problem, but I'm just really angry and frustrated righ

Okay I have composed a disc with PhotoStory and it is a WMV file, I did download it into Premier Elements 12, but noticed that some of my audio files may have been Mp4s. Hey there, I have a big problem. I'm a video editor and really want to edit but there's no audio and I don't know what to do.Doesn't matter if I use  .mp4 .m4v .mov  or whatever, there's no sound. If I try a song it has a sound after the 10000 try and with th video it doesn't go. So I can't find a solution and I would be very thankful if you can help me

I have adobe premiere elements 14 and adobe audition, but cannot edit sound with audition adobe help is helpless and nothing on the web, I have a 7 day trial but wont use all and wont purchase. Has anyone solved this problem

I'm a new user, and am having an issue.I record off air programs on a Topfield STB as MPEG2 files and then edit them with PE15.Sometimes - about one in ten times - one clip will be missing audio.The original clip plays the audio fine, but the asset in PE15 will be minus its audio.The audio shows in the timeline as a flatline, not the usual envelope display.I've checked the mixer, and it's not muted or faded.Other clips in the timeline work fine.Deleting and re-adding the clip doesn't help.Any ideas/suggestions as to what's happening and how I can fix it?Thanks.

I am am a new user of this program, so my hope is that this problem is a straightforward fix. Unfortunately I haven't found the fix yet.I have set all of my scratch disk preferences to an external hard drive. I have saved my project on the external hard drive. I have emptied my cache folders. I had this same problem with the last video I edited--which was 20 minutes long and had a number of different types of media elements in it. Eventually, because that project was for a client with a deadline, I bailed and did a more basic edit in MS Moviemaker.However, this current video project is very straightforward. Only 2 .mov files and out of the box transitions. Around 5 minutes long. It's the first video I have tried to compile after the one that hung up though. So I have a feeling there is some memory suck thing going on that is "leftover" from my last project. I just don't know where to look and delete.
