I use Premier Pro a lot, but only have a laptop. Considering buying a monitor to omprove the experience. Can anyone advise me on a spec (or even a specific model available in the UK) which would be good for this. Constraints are that my budget is NOT unlimited, and that I will from time to time need to move the monitor between rooms, so weight is a factor.Any advice gratefully received, thanks

Hi I'm going to buy a new computer since my current one is running slow. I'll be working a lot in Lightroom, Photoshop and Illustrator, maybe also a bit video editing. The computer I intend to but is a Mac Studio with a M1 Max 10 core CPU (8 performance cores and 2 efficiency cores), 24 core GPU 16 core neural engine 400 gb/s memory bandwith. 64 Gb unified memory (RAM). 512 Gb SSD. My question is if you think that these specifications are enough for Lr, Photoshop and Illustrator to run smoothly? Also, do you think I should upgrade the 24 core GPU to a 32 core GPU? Would any of these programs benefit from that, will I notice any difference? Which functions/proccesses use the GPU and benefit from more cores in the GPU? With my current computer I think image tracing in Illustrator and brushes in Ps runs very slow. What size SSD do you recommend 512 Gb or 1 Tb SSD? I think I'll use external harddrives for storage and backup. Finally I would like to say that I hope to ke
I have Premiere Pro 2021 running on a Predator Triton 500.After I finish my current project I plan on getting a new Desktop computer and updating all my Adobe CC software. The predator gets graphics card warning messages and does not run 4K smoothly. My new project will be done in 4K with individual sequences of 4-8 minutes, total run time of 60-120 min. My QUESTION. I need a recommendation for a current DESKTOP that will handle 4K clips… or a list of preferred specifications… Target price around 3500$
We are in the middle of updating our Digital Media Art Computer Lab and looking at a couple different models: Mac M1 Chip 8 core and the Windows Based Small Form Factor 2.8ghz, 32GB Computer with a Nvidia Quadro P1000. Can anyone speak to how well these video cards and machines will perform while using Adobe Primiere Pro and Photoshop? Appreciate your feedback? We want to achieve our goal but want to be mindful of costs... Thanks,Matt
The issues are not solved but I can demonstrate where the problem lies. We can no longer tell people to drop down to 1/4 resolution because the Mercury Playback Engine simply does not work. You folks can watch the video below and test it yourself. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CyFu9vhOuHI
Hi, I want to buy the new Mac Studio to replace my IMac Pro. Based on the reviews I’ve read so far, it seems that the M1 Max is enough for 4K grading and video editing, and that the Ultra is only worth it for heavy VFX or 3D work (which I don’t do). I’m considering the M1 Max with 32 GPU. Do you think the 64gb extra memory is worth getting? I currently have 32gb on my IMac Pro. Resolve runs perfectly fine even with complex grades but Premiere Pro has been running very slow on editing projects with mixed footage source / codecs and a couple of effects (stabilising, pre-grade/LUT, titles). Any thoughts or advice? Also, I’m not sure about the Studio Display. What alternative monitor would you recommend? I already have a Eizo calibrated monitor for my grading work. I’ve been looking at Eizo and BenQ options as main editing / GUI monitor but any recommendations would be much appreciated. Thanks!
C70 now support RAW recording. Any idea if I cna upgrade my current PC to play it back in real-time? Or do I need a new CPU and socket? (I know using procxies or ProRes would playback well, but I asking for hardware recommendations for playback of RAW.) Hi guys. I'm looking for a great laptop to run Adobe premiere on.My budget is quite large because I want it to last for years and run great. I'm thinking $3500 ish. I looked at Dell xps 15, 9510 but I was told it's a glossy screen and that I would want a mat one.Any recommendations?
Can I Install Adobe Premiere Pro on a hp laptop? I tried to install Adobe Premiere Pro on my laptop, But it causes slow down my laptop speed. How can I manage it? Is there any other way to use it on my laptop without any lag??? [link removed by moderator]
I've had my Alienware (Aurora 10) PC for about 2 months now. Running Premiere Pro 15.4 and I've noticed it's not quite as fast as I had hoped, especially after about 20-30 minutes of editing multicam. Right now, this computer is performing moderately better than the 7 year old (non-AMD) PC I replaced that crashed. I edit weddings mostly so multicam editing is a huge part of it. 4K footage handles better on this PC for sure, but what's troubling is... Editing even a few 1080p60 clips (XAVC-S) in multicam runs fine for about 20-30 minutes but then starts to stutter and forces me to stop, wait a few seconds, then hit play again for it to go smoothly again. Restarting Premiere seems to reset things so it runs smooth again for maybe another 20-30 mins. But if I add ANY cross dissolves to the nested multicam I can't even preview it because it stutters so badly and requires me to have to stop playback, skip over that edit point and hit play again. Ugh. Are there some settings
Hello there!I'm currently interested in purchsing a laptop, specifically the "Framework Laptop" if anybody is familiar with it. I'm looking to hopefully use it for some light editing on the go as needed, and I am curious if you guys have any advice for me if the specifications for it are suitable enough. The laptop would have an i7-1165G7 and 32gb(2x16gb) 3200mhz RAM (can be configured all the way up to 64GB but I'm currently shooting for 32gb for budget reasons)For comparison, I do all of my editing on my desktop PC, which currently which has an i7 7700k, GTX 1070, and 16gb(2x8gb) of 2133mhz RAM.The plan for me is to upgrade my desktop PC significantly and do all of my heavy duty editing there as well as most if not all of the actual exporting, but having a laptop that can do some light editing (ideally with HD but also some 4k footage) would be a big bonus for me, so I am just wondering if the specs of the Laptop I mentioned are (at least) comparable to the specs of my curr
I recently had a RAM failure. One of my 2 16gb RipjawsV failed. That RAM is not currently available at my supplier so I had it replaced with 2 Corsair Vengeance LPX sticks and then added another 2 to give me a total of 64gb of RAM. Booting Premiere used to take maybe 10-15 seconds - now it takes around 1:05. Opening a project used to take around 5 seconds - now it takes 35 seconds. These times might not sound like a lot but I am constant bouncing around between projects for work and I thought these times would have been at least the same and probably better since the upgrade. Any ideas? System - Ryzen 7 3700X, 64gb Vengeance LPX DDR4 3200 RAM, GeForce RTX 2060, all SSD boot drives

Hi, My current laptop has an i7 processor, 8GB RAM. Graphics card: NVIDIA GEFORCE MX230 This graphics card is not on the Adobe Premiere Pro list of system requirements. Will I experience problems if I buy the Premiere Pro and install it? Thanks
I need to replace my current laptop for a variety of reasons, the biggest being i can no longer edit videos on it. It’s slow, lags horribly, crashes, glitches, etc. I was looking to either the newest Surface Pro 6 or the new MacBook Air (what I’m leaning towards more) that just came out about a week ago. Those two devices seem very portable (which is what i need, portability.)Does anyone have any recommendations on which of these Adobe premier pro will run best on? Pros and cons? I edit a lot of 4K/HD footage.

What's Premier Pros current compatibility with the Quadro K2200? I'm cheap and I want to keep my pennys. I am still using an old HPE-170t with a Intel Core i7 860 & NVIDIA GeForce GT 440 for my video and photo work. There is only one downfall to this practice which is a slowdown that I experience when rendering footage. I am considering getting a old workstation to use for my vidoe projects so that I can continue whatever other work I have on my HPE-170t while I wait for the video to render. This is the build I'm looking at:HP Z620Processors:2x (2.6 GHz) 8-Core Intel Xeon E5-2650 v2 Processor Memory (RAM):32GB (4x8) DDR3 PC3 Memory Graphics Card:Nvidia Quadro K2200 4GB GDDR5 I need to keep costs down as much as possible so if theres anyone willing to throw their time in on any reccomendations I would be very appreciatve.
