- no support for High DPI monitors -  Neither program works perfectly when Display Scaling is set above 100%.  But that's not a problem.  The entire point of higher resolution is more screen real estate, so one should always leave Display Scaling at 100%.- very inflexible interface compared to Premiere - True, but this isn't an editing feature.  It doesn't prevent one from doing the job, it just means one may have to do things differently.  That's not unexpected when switching software.- very poor proxy support - How so?  I find the Optimized Media in Resolve works as well as Proxies in PP.- locked timeline frame rate - True, but how many RED projects will this be a problem for?- export frame rate locked to timeline frame rate - This isn't entirely true.  There is some flexibility here.  But again I ask, how many RED projects will this be a problem for?- no way to force cache render an individual clip if Resolve has decided it doesn't need render

I have been experimenting with Resolve for several months.  I have the free version.  I am going to use Premiere for Video Editing and Resolve for Color Correction.

I watched Jason Levine's video (How to Make Great Videos (Part 7) - Optimizing for Social Media | Adobe Creative Cloud - YouTube)  that touted a new feature that was in beta (The Social Publishing Panel) and finally decided to see if it could help us out since we're getting ready to start our own show to be featured on multiple social media platforms. After searching, I found pretty much nothing. As if it never existed. If not for the video above and this link (Slay on Social: Introducing the Social Publishing panel (beta) in Premiere Pro | Creative Cloud blog by Adobe​), I would have thought I suffered a case of the "Mandela Effect."What gives Adobe? Premier cc 2019, gtx1080 tiI can't use cuda.Gpu acceleration, which was used well in the gx1080, was removed from 2019.Not even the gtx1080ti that I bought and installed today.It's definitely supported gpu by Adobe.sick.I chose gpu acc.software encording-operated stupid.I'm going to finalcutbye.

So bRAW came out for the BMPCC4K and I realized it was only supported on Davinci Resolve.  Davinci Resolve 15 already had a bunch of game changing workflows that beat Premiere (mainly color) but they totally made their editing more like Premiere.  Now that I shoot bRAW and not .dng I pretty much have made the switch to Davinci over Premiere.  I suspect that I will keep Premiere around just in case I get sent some files that need to be edited in that workflow, but pretty much from here on out I'm using Davinci exclusively.  I hope to phase out Premiere completely by the end of the year.  This bRAW support was pretty much the nail in the coffin for me.  It's been out for months, why Premiere waited so long baffles me.  Oh well, see ya later hahahaha!

So, what finally worked for me was to uninstall PP 2019 and going back to 2 versions ago (latest 2018 release.) There are still some minor performance issues, but it works much better.Also, Kevin, I appreciate you posting a response here. Yet, I have to be honest and point out that I found your comment about this becoming a "dumping ground for unrelated performance issues" annoying. Please understand that those of us posting here are complaining, venting and looking for a solution for something Adobe has not been able to fix or help with. We are already frustrated and given that context, your comment was unecessary.

Adobe MUST make all Video Cards usable. This is getting ridiculous!!!I am sick and tired of doing a hack every time, just so I can use the GPU Mercury Engine, and I am sure thousands more out there, are pissed off about this as well. Is there a better player for playing1920 x1080 or 4k Videos than VLC?

I recently realized that Panasonic Lumix Gh4 seems to shoot actually exactly in 24 fps according to the camera settings but most of the film I edited on 23.976 fps sequence settings timeline in Premiere Pro. Given that if I change the sequence settings from the current 23.976 fps sequence to the exact 24 fps sequence settings to match the video source footage of 24 fps or or even if I change the sequence from the current 23.976 to 29.97 fps, in both cases of changing the sequence settings frame rate I would need to reanalyze lot of clips ( I assume due to warp stabilizer or something else)  etc in the timeline for this film which requires quite a lot of work. So given that we might be selling this film on Amazon, Vimeo etc :1. how did you upload them to computerEt tu, Neil?Upload means to transfer from a local computer to a remote computer over a network, such as the Internet.One copies the files to hard drives, then Imports them into Premiere Pro.  Uploading is not a normal part of the pre-edit process.

They need to sit adbe in the trash can it's too many issues for a non Workin software my audio clips my 1080and my 4k skipping all over the place on the preview iv built three PC and neither one will work and have been tryna edit simce last year losing clients etc I never seen so much trash I'n a piece of software to the point everybody having the same issue ADOBE IS GARBAGE !!

We are paying monthly for the pleasure of being messed around. More and more editors are moving to alternative editing packages, wake up! Please release any update with links to driver updates for all the cards, if these are unavailable then don't release or at least inform your clients of their options. Thank you.

My video lags as well. My only option is to find another editing software suite and stop using adobe. Can anyone help?

I had high hopes for Rush being an Premier "light" but it hasn't turned out that way. I wanted something better than Elements but not as crazy as Premier Pro and the high cost. Since the initial Rush release in October there have only been three very minor (1.0.x) updates none of which I can see have improved anything. Critical features are still missing like speed control (slow motion/speed up) and the performance is awful. I have a gen 7 i5 with 16GB of RAM and the application is stuttering all over the place almost making it unusable.I'm normally a very positive person and rarely wright negative reviews but this whole experience has been really disappointing to me. I was willing to put up with missing features and bugs in the beginning but almost 6 months later nothing has changed. I don't know how you would expect people to pay $10 a month for subscription software when its not being updated at all. There are many cheaper and even free alternatives out there at exceed this products

CC 19 is laggy by no fault of the user. Adobe just need to fix a sub par release and get 19 working properly. Trouble shooting steps and delete media cache files etc is like putting a band-aid on severed limb - POINTLESS.

Hi, I just wanted to say that Аdobe Premiere Pro is worst program on planet... ever created...Oh man, how many problems, how many bugs, in every version.Year after year, bug after bug, every new version with new bugs...But who cares when autosave doesn't work properly, when lumetri crashes Premiere, when... actually I can't remember one thing that works properly in this software.I'm very sorry because I was stubborn, I gave this software a chance, I wanted it so hard to work flawlessly and fast, I'm sad I was stupid because that is impossible.Adobe Premiere Pro, optimized for idiots who doesn't know better...What a waste of time...Oh man I want time travel machine, to get back in time and buy Mac with Final Cut Pro...

I've seen this so many times exporting out of After Effects. Adobe does not sweat a frame or two on either end of the video you worked so hard to try to work seamlessly with other footage.

I have been a CC user for the past 6 years and all this while they tricked me in using only their products...now one issue is I can't use any other software for editing because I need to learn them from scratch. Adobe gives the least importance to their R&D. They want users to complain and winch.....then they will rectify with our feedbacks. I lost many editing works because of them, a normal one day of editing before has changed to a painful 2-3 days of system crash....response time....you name it...its just slow and slow and slow with new unidentified bugs. upgraded my system...no use...they just don't know how to develop a decent running software!!!! I am sorry I was furious a few months back and used a lot of F-words...and they deleted my post....but this time am being really humble & patient….but I want to ask my fellow subscribers...please....How can we poor daily users of Adobe CC join together and ask for a working software or give us the fee for being a scapegoat or te

I'm sure Adobe will delete this post if I were to link directly to the instructions on how to do this, but if a cat were to walk across your keyboard and accidentally type "Premiere Project Downgrader" into Google you would be pleasantly surprised.I don't think this is a general solution, even if it seems to have temporarily worked for you (though I'm glad to know it did).Reason is, this problem has been going on for years, pre-dating 2018.  Adobe refuses to do anything about it, inviting us to leave Premiere for less buggy apps (e.g., DaVinci which incidentally costs much, much less).
