I tried 2 different computers(Win-Mac), 2 different browsers(Safari-Chrome), 2 different files and it did not happen. I have tried 2 different files with file sizes 193mb and 160mb. Formats mp4. I waited 8 hours for each one. I threw about 10 e-mails to the support department. I bothered the live support of Premiere Pro 2 times. I tweeted to Adobe and Adobe Premiere Pro account from Twitter. I even tweeted Imagine Dragons' vocals. But it did not. Although I did all the things I said, I could not reach the video I was trying to get in two weeks. I've been working for 2 weeks because of the problem with the internet site! There is a website that gives no information about the installation. I sent the project to the support team. Mail address and I could send the video there. But the support team just said '' Refresh the page. '' As many people as I see in the forum have the same problem. Nobody who had this problem could have joined the competition. I think a company like Adobe should he
Hi! I was recently trying to upload my video for the “Make the Cut” contest. I fill in all of the boxes; but it never fully submits, anyone have the same issue?
So I attempted uploading my Imagine Dragons music video yesterday for the Make the Cut competition. I filled out all the forums and uploaded my file. I clicked submit and was told my file size is too large. Okay, shouldn't be a problem. So I closed the tab, re opened Premiere Pro, exported my video to fit the proper size. I go back to the Make the Cut submission page and fill out all the information again, using the same info and email address. I upload my new smaller file and click submit. But when I click submit it says that I have already submitted my video and that each person may only submit one entry. But, I was never even allowed to submit my first video because it was too large. That's why I got this smaller one. So now I am unsure of what to do. I thought maybe I could just use a different email address, but then I became concerned that the judges would see two of the same video, think that I am cheating, and disregard both videos from the contest altogether. I haven't tried s
So, when I upload my video? Do I get email from them that I successfully upload or it just takes me to the next page that says you successfully upload and click to share to your friend, something like that?Because I am freaking out and also the official rules stated that I need to upload my working file? DID I MISS THAT?[Moved from the Community Help Application forum (which is for issues regarding an old app for creating help documentation) and into a more appropriate forum - moderator]
hi,are we we allowed to use the band logo and/or text created in Premiere Pro cc for the "Make the Cut" contest? The rules say we can only use the assets included in the sponsor zip file, and the logo is not included in there. only reason I ask is because I created some open titles for the video. Thanks!!good luck to all!Sean Patrick
Not that my opinion as a paying customer will matter to the increasingly bad software development choices being made by Adobe, but what the hell? The original version held a lot of promise because of the features that allow tracking and organization of creative ideas. Logline, summaries, character bios, etc. This new version is pointless.I get the benefit of updating the code base, but if you're going waste all that time and money at least start by recreating what is already good. Unfortunately you abandoned development of Story about 4 years ago and left those really trying to use it dangling in the wind. If your intention is to create a top tier Script platform, then release it when it is ready and hire someone whos know something about actual productions. It's getting more and more difficult to take Adobe seriously when it comes to professional tools.

James_eater's advice is best so far. Until Adobe gets their act together, I'm finding that the less Premiere Pro touches my footage the better. Lumetri, morph cut, warp stabilizer, titling, captions, export, read/write permissions... CC2017 in the last month has been more error, glitch, and crash ridden then anything I've downloaded since the Vista days (and all of those woes were because of Vista, no questions or doubts about that). Adobe's CC subscription model is starting to prove the detractors true - as long as we keep paying, I'm beginning to think Adobe won't fix anything besides the most embarrassing errors and let the others slide.I for one am trying not to get caught flat footed and have started learning Davinci Resolve and Fusion. Resolve has a bit of a learning curve (as do all programs) and doesn't have the format support of Premiere Pro, and I haven't been able to tackle Fusion much at all, but seeing as both of them are free in contrast to beta testing for Adobe... only
Heh. Adobe's marketing team must be the same folks in charge of QA and beta testing their software...

Hi guys, the last question I posted helped me a lot so I give it another shot. This is my typical video: Coldplay - Hypnotised (Cover) - YouTube I'm using a Canon Eos500D with the original lens. Today I saw this and I felt like a baby: Issues - Julia Michaels - MTV Cover Of The Month - YouTube Ignoring for a moment the light, the movement of the camera and the fact that they are very young and good looking ... the quality of the image is stunning. It's something I can work on my camera settings, premiere setting or I should focus on the lens ? (pun not intended ) Or it's something I can get in Premiere ? Sorry for the very noob-ish and generic question !
From 12am - 3am -- 3hrs of wasted time with Adobe CC tech to inform me finally crashed project premiere files are a specialty issue and needs a premiere cc specialist who won't be in until Monday 9am!! - 2 jobs down the tubes -- LOSS OF INCOME -- THANKS[moderated]

This might seem like an odd thing to ask for, but I am genuinely looking for someone who is experienced in editing to kind of take me under his/her wing to give me some guidelines on what editing techniques and principles that are the most important to work on to become a great editor.A little about me: I am 29 years old, I live in Oslo, Norway. I have a bachelors degree in Japanese, but I have been working at an elementary school for the last 2 years while also working at my local radio station. I love film and video games, and I used to be a professional breakdancer. Now I am interested in becoming a really good editor because working within content creation has been a dream I've wanted to pursue for a long time now. I have been experiencing a lot of self-doubt and a feeling of being lost and lonely as I have started this path to becoming a great content creator, and what I really want is someone who is more experienced than me to be my mentor. I don't expect or want you to be
I have 7 Products published on Adobe Exchange. All of which took for ever to be reviewed and I'm talking weeks. When Adobe Exchange emails me about products I've submitted, I am usually left confused meaning they have very unclear communication. Their customer support is painfully slow which is the reason I assume they have nothing to do with Adobe because Adobe's customer support is top of the line. Does any one else have bad experiences with Adobe Exchange? What are they?[moved to the Video Lounge}
I agree with RotoPawn on many points. Let me share a short story I had in my life while on a call with Adobe Support. Scenario was I was migrating from Photoshop license to Creative Cloud. I owned/licensed multiple instances of Adobe Products. After Effects, Premiere, Illustrator (since 88), Dreamweaver. At the time the best cost savings was to use Photoshop license to get $30 a month, cable company pricing model.I was on the phone because the serial number entered was not allowing me to proceed with the install. Of course I had a deadline the next day and needed the software to meet my deadline. While on the call the house across the middle of the street was on fire. Smoke was billowing on the street. The smoke and flames were scary enough I told my wife to take our infant daughter and drive to my Dads house. I however was determined to not drop the call, not knowing how long it would take to resolve the call based on numerous past experiences with A
Speaking of keyboard shortcuts that stopped working, it´s no longer possible to launch Premiere Pro and press Ctrl+N to create a new project. Adobe is the new Apple? Well, the Program Manager for Premiere Pro has actually worked for Apple "...as the U.K. Pro Video business development manager..."Not a surprise then why Premiere Pro has morphed into a FCP7 copy and why Apple users are their main target today.
Hi,I wish I could create such same kind of effect in my videos:video 003 - Vidme Is it possible to get it like that? or at least as nearest possbile to that?Is there any video effect tool I can use to create the beam-sound on text popping up on the screen? And the text effect which comes and goes in a specific way. And also inserting background-video and effects like shown in the video above?I am using Filmora Video Editor, but can't seem to find the beam-sound to add on the popped up text like in this video.Would appreciate the help.
Hi guys,I made a video - my first 'big' project. It's about my college. Used Premiere Pro. Vids are not mine. Got them. TARGI feat. Pan Piksel - YouTube What do you think?PS.:I've been using Premiere since august 2016.
So, your first mistake was in "upgrading" to CC2017.Your second mistake was believing that Premiere actually cares about catering to "power uses". Adobe is the new Apple; if they can lockdown the consumer market, nothing else matters. When was the last time your nephew needed to "manually kern" by using "keyboard shortcuts" while cutting together a zero-budget Power Rangers fan-short for his grade 8 comp-tech class?
Hi,I'm from the Daily Squib and although an expert in photoshop really need some expert help on After Effects for a video project. Is there anyone out there who is good at animation and compositing who would like to help? Please mail via the contact page on our site. Looking forward to hear from you.
**waits for the official reply to be some variation of "create a new project in CC2015, and edit all of your text there; in CC2017, navigate to the text project using Media Browser and import all of your finished text files into the CC2017 project. Also, make sure to fill out a Feature Request! Maybe we'll look at implementing the request in a few years or so, once we've finished monkeying around with auto-morphing edit transitions that almost nobody will ever use. Thanks for being a valued Adobe customer!"**
To make a story short...I got in love with animation....Tried few free programs and bought one for video editing...Found out that there is just one real program if you want to learn and make animation, editing and effects...I was to scary to get After Effect and learn it but...Today I decided to do it... I want to learn After Effects and do magic...Price is 19,99$... Well ok I told to myself it is what a average worker earns for one day in Croatia but I really want to follow my dream and buy it (Hope my wife want found out i spent money on my dreams - she said I am too old to have a dreams)Registered, entered credit card numbers and BAM!!!I can't do it from Adobe.com! I must go to croatian resellers...Price is double!!!Not Fair, Not fair, not fair.....[Moved to the Video Lounge]
Hi Everyone,I am trying to understand why Adobe has not already incorporated a 3D unified workspace in After Effects yet, this cheap software Hitfilm pro has it and adobe should be light years ahead of them. So I hope that Victoria Nece will read this and give us a 3D unified workspace.Let me explain the problem that I had the other day, but first I already know how to use mask to make this work, but as you know it takes a long time to do that. I have a 3D ship that I was trying to put a person in that was greened screened and could not get it to work and that is when I realized the problem. In a 3D unified space you can place 2D objects inside, behind or in front of 3D objects, "they behave just like a 3D object", no masking needed. If anyone knows how to make this work that I am not aware of please let me know.So if more of you would tell Adobe about this, they might make it happen. Thanks
I've been a motion graphic artist for over 10 years and I'm thinking of holding a training/class for After Effects in my area (USA). There seems to be a genuine interest plus it would be neat to get a bunch of motion designers together in the same room. I was thinking of charging a fee to get in the class (1 class that lasts a few hours) but didn't know if I needed to be an adobe certified instructor? I just want to make sure it's "legal" to charge people and that it's not against any rules for adobe. The only literature I could find on the topic was that IF you're an ACI, then you can be involved in adobe's trade shows. Nothing about just holding your own training program. Thanks in advance![Moved from the Adobe LiveCycle General discussions - features, feedback, training, documentation, etc. forum and into the After Effects forum. - moderator]
