I recently updated my Toshiba laptop from Windows 7 to Windows 8 and now my Adobe Reader refuses to open and I have lost all my files!! I Uninstaller it and reinstalled but it keeps saying that it needs some sort of update for it to work. I have no idea what I need to do!

Hallo Community,ich habe mir mit LibreOffice (Version 7.0.6.2) ein Formular gebastelt, dass anschließend als PDF-Formular exportiert wird.So weit, so gut. Verwendet wird diese Formular bei tschechischen Kunden, deren Kundendaten bereits in einer postgres-Tabelle gespeichert sind (z. B. : Pěščřžýáíéú Sědlák) und beim (programmseitigen) Öffnen des Formulars (z. B. mit Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Version 2021.011.20039 oder Microsoft Edge-Browser) bereits eingetragen wird (wahrscheinlich über ein fdf-File). Und jetzt wird's spannend! Hier wird der Name nämlich zuerst einmal ganz anderes angezeigt: Pšáíéú Sdlák. Erst wenn man in das Feld zum Editieren klickt, dann erscheint der korrekte Name (und bleibt dann anschließend auch so)!?!?Nun bin ich ziemlich ratlos, was dafür der genaue Grund ist, und wie sichergestellt werden kann, dass der Name gleich nach dem Öffnen korrekt angezeigt wird.Verwendet wird aktuell einfach die Schriftart Arial (Standard). Immer wieder kommt es vor, dass ich beim Öffnen einer normalen PDF im Acrobat Reader DC (Version 2019.012.20040) die Fehlermeldung "Nicht genügend Speicher." erhalte, obwohl ich ausreichen RAM zur Verfügung habe. Wenn ich das PDF hingegen mit dem Acrobat Pro DC öffne funktioniert es.Woran kann das liegen?

Hi,I just upgaded Adobe Acrobat to the current version, 9.3.2 organization-wide about a week ago. Since then, a handful of people (4 users out of 40) are having an issue where they cannot save PDF documents to a network drive. They get the following error:"The disk you were saving to or the disk used for temporary files is full. Free some space on this disk and try again, or save to a different disk."However, they can save the file locally and drag it over to the desired network share.Can anyone tell me what this is about? I've searched online but haven't found anything useful. It doesn't make sense that most computers are able to save to a network share and others aren't - any help is appreciated!Thanks

Pop-up windows appear every time you run a program.If you update and reboot, it's the same thing. How do you fix it?

 I'm having a problem with Acrobat DC Reader Version: 22.1.20085.0  cannot open new PDF files until I close the current PDF, and it also won't let me save the PDF. I also notice that there are horizontal black lines on the PDF document, but they or not present if I print the PDF document. I have tried to repair the installation and uninstall  reinstall Acrobat DC, but the problem comes back I'm using Windows 10 Pro Any Help would be Appreciated  

I want to enable & validate both English & Arabic characters in PDF FORM fields using Adobe JavaScript. i am using Adobe Acrobat Pro. Validations (mandatoryspecial character/Alphanumeric Speical Character etc) etc are required. Also we need to set Arabic Characters  as encoded mode in barcode field as well.

Does Adobe Reader have a Classic Track anymore?    Specifically, is there a base installer for Adobe Reader Classic Track 64bit for Windows?  If so, where can it be downloaded for corporate distribution?   I have already applied and received the location for Adobe Reader DC (Continuous Track) 64bit, but cannot find anything for Classic Track.

I want to use Adobe Acrobat DC free trial version. I found 7 day free tiral version of the same but on clicking Start Free Trial Button I am being asked the payment details. 

i am not able to use adobe acrobat reader dc as it does't shows any option in tools option beside the home option, in home also some options are not displayed properly, and when i click on perefernces it appears on large font size or sometimes it shows blank, reader freezes when i click on close button of it. i tried uninstalling more than 20 times, i tried uninstalling with adobe acrobat cleaner and re-intalling but it didn't worked. i am attaching images. kindly reply.   

I have an electric bill that comes in the form of a PDF that I can enter my bank account information on, and it will send the payment back to the electric company. I usually do this on my desktop computer, but am out of town and using my laptop. I get the error message when opening the bill "You have opened this PDF in preview mode and do not have full functionality" and then it gives instructions to download it and open it with Acrobat Reader to use it (as opposed to opening it in the browser directly from the email).It worked in the past but now it still gives me the error and I have followed the instructions exaclt. How do I open this PDF in (non-preview...?) mode for full functionality?? Thanks, Brian

Hello all,I have installed and enabled Acrobat Reader DC (Convert current web page to an Adobe PDF file)The little Adobe Acrobat Reader icon is on the top right corner next to the tab.When loading any website page on a tab the little Acrobat icon is grayed out...For instance Adobe DC is not active on the following page: Cannonball Run World Events 2.0What am I doing wrong?Anyone's help will be greatly appreciated!Renaud

Hi,we are trying to use Adobe Reader on our work mobile and i have pushed an install on all mobile devices, problem is, they need an account to be able to open files.I applied for a Distribution License over a month ago and havent got a reply yet. I have asked the support from chat, to check but they couldnt check the free licenses so adviced me to come and ask here. Can anyone help please? Regards

Im using Acrobat Reader DC Enterprise for install to 2016 Windows RDSOn 2 separate servers on different days the install has auto updated from Adobe Reader DC 32-bit to Acrobat Pro DC 64-Bit. This is causing significant grief as it equires a paid account to login to. I went through all servers yeasterday and reinstalled them using the same packagae above. Today it has happened again. What am i missing? 

Good morning to everyone -I'm using 2015 Reader DC.I've received a construction site plan PDF with a 1in=60ft scale on the drawing.  When using the Measuring Tool, the Scale Ratio is set to "1 in = 1 in".  When I measure the scale itself, the distance reads 0.8.  What setting do I need to change to get accurate measurements on the PDF?

I am trying to print a PDF that has both letter and ledger sized paper and it is all printing on letter.  I have "Choose Paper source ..." selected and I have followed steps to check for updates on my Adobe product, unchecked the Protected Mode at Startup and uninstalled and reinstalled the product.Any help would be greatly appreciated!

We depend upon fillable application forms created with Adobe Acrobat DC.  Our forms include image insertion of photos and documents or certificates.  We have recently discovered that Acrobat Reader DC is no longer working for image insertion of files in PDF format.  Our applicants often use Adobe Scan to make quick PDF scans of their documents from their phones and these have inserted nicely into our fillable form...until recently.  Now PDF files are no longer visible during image insertion using Acrobat Reader DC.  JPG, PNG and TIF files still work okay but no longer PDF files.   It seems like Adobe is needlessly limiting Acrobat Reader DC capabilities.   Is this intentional or just an overlooked detail in the enabled feature sets for Acrobat Reader?

There is a problem with Adobe Acrobat/Reader. If it is running please exit and try again. (0:521)Although I have found other threads in this forum relating to this error - none of the fixes appear to work. I've not found precisely the same error number (0:521), might I need a different fix for this? Has anyone else had the same error?Just to note, this appears to be an issue with Internet Explorer 8 on Windows 7 while viewing pdfs 'in-browser' i.e. using the plugin. Other versions of IE on other machines and FF on the same machine work fine on the same pdfs. It also works if you right click the pdf, download and view it in Acrobat Reader 'locally'.Any help greatly appreciated, I'm stumped.

Hi, Adobe Acrobat Version 15.1.3.5 on Edge/Chrome browsers shows the below tool for signature fields to show when a PDF form with signature fields in it.    However, the version 15.1.3.6 on Edge/Chrome dose not show such tool. Would you please let use know how to set it up to show? Thanks,Michael
