Hi there, Can someone please explain why Adobe have recently decided that everyone wants the 64bit version of Acrobat Reader??Its wreaking havok with our server environments where we NEED 32bit.Please advise how we can turn of this stupid update or at least ensure we receive 32bit only. ThanksAsh

Dear AllWe have been using the AAR DC & MIP plugin for several years to view pdf files encrypted with Azure Information Protection. For some time now, this has been impossible. After various attempts to repair or reinstall these products, I have received the message that the dedicated version of the MIP plugin is incompatible with the Adobe Reader DC version.(pdf files are not broken, checked with Edge browser)What can I do about it?

I am using the Adobe Acrobat Reader DC on my macbook pro. I usually receive interactive/dynamic forms that have some fields that need to be completed. I fill in just by selecting the field with my cursor and then typing. Cool. The problem is that when I go to "Fill & Sing" and then I add my signature ("Sign yourself"), the documents after saving cannot be modified any more. This means that the dynamic/interactive properties are gone and I cannot modify/edit/fill in more/other fields. How can I avoid this?

When trying to use the "Edit PDF" function in Adobe reader it asks to upgrade to a licensed product. (Which is already purchased) When I follow the prompt to upgrade it says that it can't be upgraded because it already has a license applied. How do I get around this so I can edit PDFs?

When I try to digitally sign a document, the screen goes black, nothing happens and I have to press Esc to return to the document. In Adobe Online it workI tried to Turn on Adobe Online Services -  "Sync Preferences across Devices and Document Services"but still same issue I tried to uncheck use modern user interface for signing.... in Launch Reader > Edit > Preferences > Signatures . it didn't work I tried to Uninstall/ install adobe also same issue.I tried to uninstall an old version it work for a while but when it get the update the black issue back again. Thank You.

Hi all,we have unfortunatley trouble when forwarding attachments directly via SAP GUI 770 in relation withAdobe DC 2021.007.20099 This is from an older version where it did work, but all users who does have the new setup does struggle with that error.Actually the users have to download all the files and then send it out. Any idea what I could look at it. best regardsAlfons 

It would be best if I could open 2 PDFs at same time. I hope you guys can work on that or if that feature already exist do let me know how to use that.Thank you

Hello, I recently installed Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (Free). Every time I open a PDF document, I get an error message saying Access Denied - You do not have access to this service. Contact your IT administrator or sign in with an Adobe ID. I have tried to sign in using my Adobe ID but it does not log in to my account. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but the issue won't go away. I am using Windows 11. 

How can I do a free word count for an Acrobat DC document that I created. It is impossible to download Abracadabra, so I need anothyer suggestion. Thanks.

I've used the free Acrobat Reader on Desktop for years.  During Laptop Restart my Reader became Chrome Based.  I'd missed any notifications that free desktop was going away.  I'm still using Windows 10 until I get some important things done but will eventually go to Windows 11.  I don't have Microsoft Office or the other MS products. Everything I have is in PDF.  Everything I download from other accounts, e.g. statements,  will only download & save as PDF. I used to be able to attach PDFs to send to Doctors sites, or attach to emails etc.  The new DC version can't be attached.  I don't send or share anything through the Adobe network, those receiving my PDFs aren't in that network and it's just too hard...   I've never had the "edit" features or anything else is PDF.  Just need a desktop option.  Will I have to purchase something to get it back to my desktop? What's the minimum I can do?  How is it billed?  Do I

Hi all, I am trying to utilise keyboard shortcuts whilst typing in sticky notes on Adobe Acrobat Reader DC on macOS Monterey. I cannot for instance press Command + B while typing and then the text after that will be bolded; instead, I must rehighlight the text and use that command, which is really tedious.  I have tried using the solution proposed on another thread (https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/acrobat-dc-keyboard-shortcuts-not-working/td-p/9964681) which suggests enabling Use Single-Key Accelerators To Access Tools, however I have not found this to work. What else can be done?Thank you

I need to upload a transcript I downloaded from a link sent to me by my university to an online application. I downloaded the free trial of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. However, when the transcript is open in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, the save button is grayed out, when I go to "file-->save as" it says that only a blank copy of the form can be saved, and when I select "Export PDF" or "Create PDF" on the right-hand side, it says that the file's security settings do not allow it. I know that I am doing something wrong on my end, as people use this method to save and upload transcripts all the time, but I don't know what. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I am using Acrobat Reader DC 2021.007.20099 (i.e. the latest build) to view PDF files that are scanned books, where pages are images with text overlays. It works fine with a single book, but if I open 2 or more books, in short order after paging down just a few pages I get "Out of memory error". This happens consistently, all the time, does not depend on any particular file, happens with all/any of them. SysInternals Process Explorer shows that private virtual memory use (private working set) in process ArcoRd32.exe at that point is 3.7 GB. Windows 7 x64.Something is obviously very wrong with how Acrobat manages memory. The whole size of on-disk PDF files is much smaller than that, let alone what conceivably might be needed to keep in memory data for just several pages around the displayed one.

Hi all,  When I try to open a large pdf File that is on network it freeze my PDF reader. If I close it then open it again it will be okWe are using the latest version of reader. N o matter if I use a powerfull computer or not. If I use another reader there is no problem. Disabling Enhanced security and sandbox mode doesnt solve the problem.  Do you have an Idea on what I should test? thnks

Hi Community, I would like to inform you that Adobe is doing very well. It is just about the design and look od the Acrobat DC. Please improve the design where it should look aesthetic and modern it should have curved pop up edges and with new colours which should look attractive. And change the Adobe Acrobat icon to Adobe icon and colour should be Black. The change in icon will give a good lool. please add new features and a new good look with a new modern icon.

Hi, I have a PDF with more than 3200 comments and so I can't use Acrobat Reader the same way as let's say a document with 10 comments. By this I mean the software becomes too slow. Task manager shows about 400MB of 16 GB RAM used with CPU constantly at 20% at 4 GHz.I strongly believe either Acrobat Reader is coded just to handle 100 to 300 comments or I need a Threadripper sort of CPU... just to view/annotate PDFs. Or maybe my  CPU is just not suited for this task. CPU: AMD 3500XRAM: 16 GB @2400MHzStorage used: SSDGraphics: GTX 1650 

When saving a PDF from the internet Adobe Acrobat Reader DC asks if you would like to save the changes you have made (I have made no changes) and then when you try to save you are not able to. This is happening at work and it is causing issues,I have tried disabling JavaScript which did not work 

Seems like I tried many things (including uninstalling and re-installing) but something doesn't seem right.... When I double click on the adobe icon, nothing happens,Looking in the process explorer, I can see 2 AcroRd32.exe process but can't see anything.I'm running in a windows 10 virtual machine so I'm suspecting maybe a gpu issue or something? Is there any logs somewhere I could see what's wrong?thanks
