Each time I open a PDF, Adobe is automatically reopening any PDF that I had just viewed and closed.  I closed those PDFs because I was done with them.  I don't want previously viewed PDFs to just open again on their own.

Our organization of 20,000 users are currently on Adobe Acrobat Reader v2021.005.20058.Anytime our users attempt to open IE embedded PDF files from multiple apps they get the following error message:There is a problem with Adobe Acrobat/Reader. If it is running, please exit and try again (10:10). We are unable to enable Protected Mode, as it interferes with functionality between other business critical apps.  Repairing the installation does nothing.  We are in the midst of packaging the 21.007.20091 update, but we need something to fix this issue while we wait for the packaging and QA process to finish.

  Hello everybody!I am using the latest version 21.005.20060.When I try to add text to a pdf document, typing text from the keyboard starts to slow down after 7 or 8 lines. And when you close an edited pdf document, even without saving it, adobe freezes for an indefinite time.Is this normal? Is there any way to fix this?Maybe there are some settings that need to be turned on or off?

Every time I print, I have to select Page Setup from the Print dialog and set the paper size to A4, which is the standard in many parts of the world.  My printers are all set up with only A4, the document is A4, but Acrobat Reader defaults the paper size to Letter every time.  I have searched for a way to control this setting, to either set it to A4 or to default to the paper size in the current printer's default paper try, but no luck.My setup is:OS: Win7 Enterprise (23-bit) with SP1SW: Acrobat Reader XI (11.0.09.29)

Hellow, after updateing Adobe Reader on 21.005.20048 version we have problem in our program when we open PDF files.The problem is version 21.005.20048 and the erros is  The ordinal 3283 could not be located in the dynamic link library  C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat Reader DC\Reader\AcroRD32.dll.When we unistall and reinstall Adobe Reader from website we have version 2019.008.20071 and it is all ok and PDF it's open normali.We fout out the problem in new version is unchecked Enable protected mode at startup in Security (enhached), but we need this unchecked otherwise it dosen't print from ouside program for invoices.      

Hi, I would like to report a bug, the DLL libeay32.dll in x:\program files(86)\Adobe Reader DC\Reader is suddenly without digital signature after the update.This is causing issues as we only allow digitally signed executables to run on our environments.  

Hello, it has happened to me on many customers that after yesterday's update, when they open embedded pdfs inside a program, it is written: There is a problem in Adobe Acrobat Reader. If it is running, exit the program and try again (10:10) By inserting the bProtectedMode key on 1, the problem is solved by opening the pdf, however on some users the print buttons do not work. How can I solve? Urgent Thanks  

Dear community, I have the following problem: A PDF file can be opened by 2 users at the same time without warning. I get the warning for doc files in the same folder. Can someone help me? thanks

I have several users with Adobe Acrobat Reader DC version 2021.005.20048.They need to create a custom stamp via: Tools -> Custom Stamps -> Create -> Browse and choosing the desired stamp.Before updating the app, when choosing a file, we had the option from the drop down menu to choose between "All supported files" and "Acrobat PDF files". Now with the newest version, we only have one option: "Acrobat PDF files" to choose. Was the "All supported files" option removed in the newest update?

Hi..I wondered if anyone could help me in terms of contacting the development team at Adobe. I have a crackerjack idea for enhancing Adobe Reader specific to the higher education community. I just need to get my foot in the door so to speak..Any ideas or suggestions on how to move forward with my idea would be gratefully received..Jack

When opening a pdf in acrobat reader, not all graphics in the file are shown, why?Advice so far was to: Edit > preferences > accessibility, select 'replace document colors'  and turn OFF. Also:  under "Page display"turn ON 'show large images',  thenm re-boot acrobat.  I did both, no change.  Can anyone help please ???   Thanks.  

Can't restart my iMac as message says software is being installed. Adobe Reader X1 onto iMac running Catalina. Installation is completely static at about 80% ... have left it alone for over an hour. Now I have the message on the desktop, Cancel greyed out, can't restart as may damage the computer. HELP! Stuck!

Is it possible to purchase the license for the reader dc with all the features without all the rest ie photoshop AI etc ?  It doesn't justify the full monthly subscription I just only want to use the pdf software ?

There is no way of saving my preferences in Adobe Reader.

Hi,  I am currently working in AEM Designer (LiveCycle) and I am creating dynamic documents.The documents are, for example, contact sheets that anyone can fill in and then email to clients with all our contact information etc.  When viewing the pdf in Adobe Acrobat, the editable text fields display the blue field highlight to show where to type. This is fine if we are printing the document  but when emailing the document it is not ideal as it isn't aesthetically pleasing in the design.  I have used cope before on a standard PDF to remove the highlighting, however when I create the document in AEM Designer / Livecycle and it exports a dynamic pdf, I am unable to add the javascript in Acrobat.  Please can someone advise if I can add a script in AEM forms and if so how do I do it as I am lost.  Thanks in advance all. 

Hello, I have been trying to print a booklet through Acrobat Reader. I am using Acrobat Reader version 2021.005.20058 on a Macbook Air. The document I am trying to print is in the size 8.5 x 11 inches, but I am printing on 8.5 x 13 in paper. So, through "page setup," I set the scale to 110% and set the paper size to 8.5 x 13 in. The preview being shown to me reflects these settings, however, when I actually print it, the scale looks like it is only 100% and looks like it was set for a 8.5 x 11 in paper size. What went wrong and how do I fix it?

To anyone that uses adobe acrobat reader dc, is there a way to recover a signature?  I had saved my signature on it a while back so whenever i had to sign documents i would just click on sign and there is that signature that i saved a while back and just bring it to the signature line.  Its in the top where you see the Sign and when I click on it, it gives option of add signature and add initials.  Previously I had my signature there but its no longer there.  The issue though is i accidentally clicked on the hyphen - next to it... which deleted it. So when this happened, I decided to just close the acrobat reader dc document that was opened and not save changes... thinking the saved signature would be there. But when i open acrobat reader dc... its no longer there. It was my signature that i wrote on a piece of paper a while back and took a picture with it on my iphone i believe and saved it to acrobat reader dc.  Does anyone know if there is a way to

Is there a list of Error Codes for Acrobat Reader?The error numbers are difficult to solve without knowing what they mean.

Why/How did some of my PDF documents get a (.zip) extension? I can't open these files the usual way. I now need a un-zip app to open them.Help...if you can.

When I get a pdf attchment and try to prview it in Outllok 2016, it gives me an error. I have tried all the suggestions as far as re-installing changing the settings for Adobe Reader to enable thumbnails.Also made sure t Attachment preview is not turned off .Registry settings  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Classes\CLSID\{DC6EFB56-9CFA-464D-8880-44885D7DC193} Please advise. Really need this fixed. This is happening on multiple computers that have Reader and in a Windows setting.
