I try to update another field when the user changes the value of a dropdown. For this i am listening on the blur event of said dropdown. This works fine when a different value is choosen, however when the user makes the same selection my code is still getting executed. I would like to querry the previous selection, so i can prevent this. But when the blur event is triggered the value ist already set and apparently no longer stored in the event propertys. Is there some other way i can verify the value of a dropdown has indeed changed?

I would like to drop .pdf s into a set folder that will process them to PDF/X4 automatically. Is it possible to use JAVA  to run a folder this way?

Hello.I'm trying to use prepare form in Acrobat DC for the user to create their own form. Rather than lauching the tool from tools-> prepare form is there any API to lauch prepare form mode directly from JavaScript or C++?  How do I programmatically get Acrobat DC to enter the "Prepare Form" mode?Thanks in advance for help

Here's my dilemma:I'm making an unique invoice.Sales tax is 1% for county and 6% for state. County is capped at $50. And Total sales tax is capped at $18,000. I have no experience in JavaScript. How can I set this to run automatically based on the total? And then is there a way to turn it off for when sales tax is not needed?Thanks in advanced!

I have created a fillable pdf form with a submit button that emails it.  i need the form to be non-fillable once emailed.  Currently, the recipient receives it filled in, but can alter the form fields as it is still fillable.  Please help!

I have a PDF which contains the same image in the same location on every page.  The image looks like a stamp with a transparent background that has been flattened into the document.  It can easily be removed manually in edit mode with Acrobat Pro DC.  Is it possible to automate this process using javascript or an action?

I'm needing to create a custom stamp in Adobe X Pro that show the current date (system).  I am not familiar with how javascript works and all the codes that I've found online are for older versions of adobe and do not work.

I have inherited an Acrobat plugin which displays 1-n PDF pages in an offline bitmap using PDPageDrawContentsToWindow, in addition to displaying 1 PDF page in the main Acrobat window. The offline bitmap shows imposed output.This is a Windows only plugin, not targeting Acrobat Reader.Certain PDF files crash the DC SDK plugin version, but work fine in the Acrobat XI plugin version. Other PDFs are fine in the DC SDK plugin. The crash is always in PDPageDrawContentsToWindow. So I am supposed to aggregate tons of numbers from ~100 PDF forms I prepared in Acrobat Pro DC earlier and display them in tables in a Wordpress website. However, as I have to use the VisualComposer I need the table code to be quite specific, so I was wondering...as opposed to pressing CTRL+C/V a billion times:can I somehow extract the form fields of a PDF (named "date1", "Amount1", "Amount2", "Amount3"...) and write them in a specific manner into a txt file? Hello.I want to be able to find a sequence of ten numbers in a pdf. I was thinking of reading through each character of the pdf and using an if statement with the isNaN function, however, I'm not sure if that's even possible because I don't know how to read each character in a pdf. If there is another method on how to do this, then that would be fine, too.Any help or guidance would be appreciated.Thank you.

Hello. I'm a beginner in javascript, and I have adobe acrobat X pro. I want to be able to search for a specific string within the pdf, and then save the sequence of numbers that come after that string for my file name.For example, the text would look like "EA 224400" . I would search for the string EA, and then save 224400 as a different variable that would later be used for the file name. This sort of text is found multiple times in my pdf on different pages. I was able to spawn in a new page successfully, and on my end, when I click the "Add Page" button I created, it jumps to that page. However, for others, it is not doing that, it simply remains on the initial page. Is there a script I can add to the button that spawns the page, that will make it also go to that newly spawned page?Additionally, I'd like to be able to allow clients to Delete an unneeded page. The form originally is one page. They can then click to Add a Page. My client would like to be able to delete a page in case the Add a Page button is clicked accidentally, or someone changed their mind.I've searched Google to no avail, as many of the links that look like they are the answer I need, is from acrobatusers.com which seems to no longer be active I should mention I am VERY new to all of this. HII am using ADOBE Acrobat Pro DC V 2018.011.20040My aim is to manually fill out the top table i1 to i3 and j1 to j3. Then press the bottom table calculate button and the result appears in the value column beside it as a %.Using WBC button as an example the formula is (j1WBC-j3WBC)/(i3WBC-j3WBC). Applying the formula to the WBC value text field . I have proven the formula works.However i need to put all the data into the top table before doing the calculation. My solution was to press a button, it does the calculation and assigns the value to the text field beside it. I have set up the button properties in the java script I have put rWBC=(j1WBC-j3WBC)/(i3WBC-j3WBC).rWBC is the name for the text beside it.At the moment pressing the button does nothing.Your comments and help will be most appreciated.Regards MH

I am trying to find a javascript that will allow all of the fields in my form to populate in sequential order. I have 10 fields on the PDF and I would like them to be numbered sequentially based off of the first field. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have an excel file with over 60,000 numbers. I am trying to code in (using js) these numbers to autofill my pdf form when a user enters a certain number in a field. For example, if the user enters "9999999" into a field, four other fields automatically fill based on the number they entered. However, since the calculation script only allows a certain number of characters, I am unable to write this code (basically a if/then statement) for all 60,000 numbers. Is there a way I can keep these numbers in an excel file and have the calculation script read this file and put these numbers into an array?
