I am trying to create a GPA calculator, so I want to assign a number value to letters. For ex. A=4, B=3, C=2, D=1, and F=0. I will then multiple the credit hours by the letter. For ex. 3 x B = 9.I understand how to do the calculations in the cells, but what I need help with is assigning a number value to the letters before completing a calculation.Thanks.

I am working to build a document for my company that we can use to include photos. Each photo document will have a different number of pictures and i would like an easy way for others to be able to delete unused photo fields and unused caption fields below the photos. After the fields are deleted I was hoping that there would also be a way to delete pages that don't have any photo fields present. I am very new to coding javascript, but i thought that i would give this a shot. Here is the document that i have started. I have a form that I want to print sequential invoice numbers. Example: Invoice Number 601541 prints, then Invoice Number 601542 prints, and so on. I want to be able to just click the amount of copies and have it print like that.  Any javascript suggestions?

I am currently working on a pdf form on acrobat pro for work and I ran into some trouble when attempting to add script when there was already script made. I am very new to this so these struggles might be due to that.I had to create a new dropdown list (List B) on an existing form and link it to another list (list D). (I successfully accomplished this) However, There is another drop down list (List A) that is also linked to List D and now the link will only work at the start but will quickly go away and stick to my new changes. Essentially, when i choose "yes" in (List A) i need it to link to (List D) without (List B) effecting it. This probably made no sense at all but if anyone knows how to fix this that would be great!

Why can't I get my text fields to fill with color and/or a color border? This is my first form, and it's fairly involved, with math formulas etc, ( which is so great! ) but I'm wrestlingwith this last two little text fields that I would like to stand out from the rest of the form because theyare the Submit and Reset boxes.

I am currently in a pickle. I have a field that someone writes either "yes" or "no". I want to be able to have another field populate with a number based on the yes or no field. For example:"Field1" is the field where someone types "yes" or "no". if someone puts "yes", I would like to have "Field2" populate with a number 1. If they say no, I want "Field2" to populate with a 0.

My macbook pro I've been using for all these years has finally pooped out and now I'm in search of a another one. The only thing is I don't want to purchase another old one. Now they're all newer and the OS has changed. The ones that I can afford come with the OS High Sierra, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to install my Acrobat X pro onto a laptop running this OS. I have a form that I made through Adobe Acrobat. The second page on this document is basically a giant calculator. I see that my java script is correct and the calculations are correct, but there is somewhat of a delay when it calculates. That is the only way I can explain it. Basically what happens, is I go down my rows and when I have the total calculate everything for me, its off a little. But if I leave it alone and start typing somewhere else, it correct itself. Almost like it didn't fully calculate and was delayed. I don't know if this is a glitch with Adobe Acrobat or if it's something I did wrong. I can't imagine I am doing something wrong because if I use "the value is..." calculation, I get the same thing. I have a link below to the document if anybody wants to see what I am talking about. This tool is intended to write PDF content in an XML. Just like the function "Export to XML (1.0)". The PDF was also created by me with ES4. It is also an interactive PDF. The Requirement is now to read the inputs with this tool and to write in an XML file. I have tried some free DLL's, only they always deliver only the "fixed" values ​​and not the dynamic ones.Does one know how I can read out the dynamic fields? Ideally, I would build the tool so that it creates exactly the same file that creates the standard export function of the reader. Hello,I'll just preface this by saying I have zero coding experience and almost no knowledge of javascript. I've been trying to create a custom stamp in Adobe Acrobat for work. I have an image that I have added a date/time calculation to, but somewhere in the code, something must be broken. I need the date format to be: 2018 MONTH DAY. Could someone please tell me how I can fix this? I also need the entire string to be capitalized, which seems to be working - it's just the date format I cannot figure out.event.value = event.value.toUpperCase(event.value = util.printd("yyyy mm dd tt h:MM", new Date));I thought "yyyy mm dd" would work, but it shows the date as MAY 23 2018.Any help is appreciated.

I just got Adobe Acrobat Pro DC on my work computer. I open a pdf, click tools and Edit PDF. After editing, I click file/save or file/save as and change the name. But when I reopen it, nothing has changed. OR even odder, only a few things have changed!?! What the heck?? I didn't create the form so could it be that I don't have access?SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!

Is there any Acrobat SDK I can use to add a sub-menu in an existing Acrobat context menu?  For example, the Content panel can be brought up by Acrobat's View->Show/Hide->Navigation Panes->Content.  On the content panel, one can select 1 or more items, right-click brings up a context menu.  If I want to add a custom menu option to allow me to access the selected object(s) and perform my own custom actions, is it possible and if so, how do I do that?  See the menu in the screenshots below.  - Thanks!Thanks.

I have a simple form where I have buttons that attach a copy of the document to an email.  I want a script that replaces the "approve" or "decline" button when it's clicked, with something that says "approved", THEN attaches to the email. Then on the final approval, the entire form becomes read-only.  I am using Pro 2017.This is a form that will travel along an approval path, until it's approved at the top level.
