Hello,I'm looking for a script I could run in Adobe Acrobat X which will rearrange my document based on coma separated numbers in a variable.For example, var Order = 1,4,7,2,5,8,3,6,9.  Let's say I have a 9 page document and I need page 1 first, then page 4, then page 7, then page 2, then page 5.. per the variable. I know I could just print it like this, but sometimes I have more pages than can fit, so I need the document sorted.  For example, 1,23,45,2,24,46,3,25,47,4,26,48,5,27,49,6,28,50,7,29,51,8,30,52,9,31,53,10,32,54,11,33,55,12,34,56,13,35,57,14,36,58,15,37,59,16,38,60,17,39,61,18,40,62,19,41,63,20,42,64,21,43,65,22,44,66.Any help would be appreciated!

I have a for that has an auto updating date field using the following script: getField("Date").value = util.printd("dd-mmm-yyyy", new Date()); The problem is once the form is completed and saved under a different name it continues to update the date field every time it is opened. I need this form to udate the date only the first time it is opened any subsequent time the form is opened I need it to retain the original date from when the form was completed and saved.Would anyone be able to provide some guidance as to how to alter this field or create a new field that will only set the date once.I am using Adobe Acrobe Pro 2017 release date and the form needs to support digital signatureAny help would be greatly appreciated.

I am working on an inventory list that is 2 pages. The second page I want to be optional so I decided to use JavaScript (for spawning). I applied this script to my button and it does work. My issue is I only want it to spawn the document once. At this time the button spawns the same document multiple times.var expTplt = getTemplate("P0Inventorylist"); expTplt.spawn(numPages,false,false);I only want the user to be able to pull this one time if additional lines are needed. What is the coding I would add to the one above that will limit the user to only pulling this one time?

Hello,I have been working on designing a PDF where the first box auto generates the dates month in the format DD/YYYY, and the subsequent fields calculate in the same format, descending by 1 month increments from the date in the first field. The first box I have called Today, the subsequent boxes are listed as Today_1, Today_2, Today_3, etc. I.E.02/2018     01/2018    12/2017    11/2017    10/2017^This needs to auto generate to the current month, and then proceed to go back a month at a time for 105 boxes. Hello,I am using text fields for time. My reason for this is because iPads tends to glitch out with PDF date/time formatted fields. iPads make it difficult to select a date/time because the pop-up field moves around/doesn't go away, even after selecting from the pop-up menu. I would like to have a custom calculation that calculates the total time between "Arrive Job and "Leave Job".As you can see in the screenshot below --an example would be:Arrive Job: 8 Hour 15 minutes AMLeave Job: 1 Hour 15 minutes PMI know that this equals 5 hours.So i think the logic would be:Arrive Job Hour + Arrive Job Minutes(Leave Job Hour + Leave Job Minutes)  - would think that this should convert to military time if possible : so that If value = PM, and then if value = 12,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11 - then subtract Arrive Job Total from Leave Job Total so 13 - 8 = 5.If the example was:Arrive Job: 8 Hours 15 minutes AMLeave Job: 9 Hours 15 minutes AMI know this equals 1 hoursSo i think the logic would be:Le

The original file is a series of letters to send to customers.  Each letter is two pages long; I already have an action to break the document up by two's and add a letterhead logo before saving each as a new file.  I used javascript to separate them because I wasn't familiar with Acrobat's capabilities at the time.  The customer's name is listed on each letter in the exact same place on each document.  Is there any script that would be able to "read" the customer name (given it's in the same location on the first page of each letter) and save the file as that name?  I thought I was smart when I found out a script to separate the file, so I'm not a high-level thinker when it comes to this.  Any places to point me if there isn't a straight solution?

My mac recently crashed and I had to reinstall El Capitan and all my other programmes. Everything installs perfectly (Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator) except for Acrobat DC. I've downloaded directly from Acrobat's website as well as through Creative Cloud but no luck. Several Adobe technicians helped me remotely but Acrobat simply do not want to install. I've looked into permissions and deactivate Firewall, Eset virus security, user profile and everything, but it still do not want to load. It loads up to 'running the package scripts' and then hangs and do not want to go any further. Is there any other advice or solution I could follow? Thank you.

Hi All,With a button click I am making my form read only and attaching it to an email.The only thing is I want to be able to hide all of the JavaScript buttons on the page.I am aware of the this way to hide buttons:this.getField("Email_Button").display = 1;The problem is I am using spawn pages and thus its hard to use the above bit of code to hide all potential buttons.Is there a bit of code that can select all buttons or cycle through all buttons on my pdf and hide them?Cheers,Seb.

I am trying to calculate the number of daily calories required based on a number of criteria. I have managed to make the calculation work if I am just looking at the values of each field but I need to take into account if the user is male or female. I have created a form in acrobat.  However, I don't want the .pdf document to be saved over the original form after it is filled in; so when the user saves the  form,  the "Save As" browser appears. Once I get that working, how do I enable the new document that was saved based off of the fillable form to not retain the 'Force Save As' language, and act normal when I go back and edit it?I basically want the .pdf form to act like a .dot file (template) in Word

First off, thank you to anyone who takes the time to read this and attempt to help me.I made a PDF form with check boxes. I used a mouse up Java Script so that when the check box is checked aka "Yes" the fill and font are a specific color: I then made a Clear Form button which when clicked does clear all the check boxes but it leaves the form boxes with the fill color of when the box is checked instead of going back to unfilled. The only way to then clear the form box fill is to check the box and then uncheck. I have over 100 check boxes. To clear the check box fill one by one would be a pain in the arse. Any thoughts or suggestions?

I am trying to populate a field with an if/then statement. I have employee names that I want to be populated into a certain field when the adjacent field has the 4 digit employee number entered into it. I found an old thread but no matter what I tried, i can not get the script to work. Here is what I have so far. For reference, Emp.0 is the employee number field and NameRow.0 is the employee name field. I have the following formula plugged in to the custom calculation script of the NameRow.0 field. Every time I open a pdf in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, and click Sign in, I enter my account information, then sign in, but then it comes back with an error window that pops up saying "An Error Occurred", then does not sign in.... This only seems to happen from the Reader, and I know my ID and password are correct because I signed in here just fine.PLEASE help me with this as Support will not provide help for a free product like the READER....Thanks in advance!!
