I am getting an error when opening a file........the application was unable to tart correctly (0xc0000022).....I have reinstalled program....gotten updates and tried to repair.....any ideas?

I create forms for several different companies, and often the only difference is the header. Each header has several checkbox fields to select a particular branch for that company. To save time, I am working on a batch sequence to have the following functionality on one open file:*Add Background (this is the header, a pre-saved image)*Add Header/Footer (stamp with revision date)Add Checkbox Fields (via JS Execution)*Save Document with a prefix*Remove Old BackgroundRemove Old Checkbox Fields (via JS)*Add New BackgroundAdd New Checkbox Fields (via JS)*Save Document with a prefix*Lines marked with an asterisk are built into the action using pre-built action wizard tools... for now.and so on... once I nail this down I will need it to go through about 5 iterations to end up with 5 saved files that have different headers. We are working on automating some customer files we receive on a daily basis. We have used some 3rd party tools to export as text.BUT.. We tried a export to XML from our full version of Adobe Acrobat and we like how the data is exporting out.here is the question.Is there a way to use .net to interface with Acrobat to tell it to export the xml data?We are getting a bit lost in the sdk info.

I'm very new to creating forms and have never used any Java Scripts, but I'm hoping that someone here can help me.I have a kit that has a lot of configuration options. every time we send one of these to a customer we have to type out all the items included into a kitting list. what I want to know is if/how I could have a page full of tick box selections that someone can go though and easily mark what is in the kit, that will then populate a list or text box?Many thanks in advance!

Hello all, In Excel, I had a dropdown cell and then other cells throughout the page linked to item selected in the dropdown to change based on the selection.  In practice it's a simple IF THEN statement, however I'm having trouble replicating this in JavaScript. For example, if the dropdown box choices are (Gold, Silver, Copper), then I need a separate textbox to populate with (150,100,50) respectively, and then another separate textbox still linked to the dropdown choice to populate with (A,B,C) etc and so on throughout the page as needed, all hinging on the dropdown choice selected.This is what I used in Excel, is this possible to replicate?   =IF($I$12="Gold",150,IF($I$12="Silver",100,IF($I$12="Copper",50,IF($I$12="________",0))))Any advice or direction would be appreciated.  Thank you.Eric

I'm trying to create a fillable form for users in my organization that use both Acrobat (9 & DC) and Reader (DC). The form is a template that is filled out by users in our organization and then needs to be locked for editing if it is ever distributed outside of the company.I'm trying to set up a button that locks all the form fields AND disappears after it is clicked (so users outside our organization do not see it). I have the script for the locking finished/working, but I'm having trouble making the button disappear.I've set up the following script on the click:event.target.display = display.hidden;This seems to make the button disappear for the users with Reader, but not with Acrobat. I've also used:this.getField("Button1").display = display.hidden;and I have the same problem.Any ideas on what I can do differently? I am not a heavy Java user, so I'm not well versed in this code...

I have a PDF with a large number of pages, each page of which has its own set of 10–15 named check boxes. These need to be checkable in any combination and independent of one another. However, I'd also like to create a single Check All box on each page that, on the first click that marks the Check All box, places a check in all boxes on the page and, on second click that clears the Check All box, clears all boxes on the page. How do I do this?At the moment, I have it so each page has separate Check All and Check None boxes. This is more or less functionally fine, but looks clumsy across so many pages and seems to confuse some users. They will all follow the same format which will be:• There will be a locked header and footer• 2 columns (2" wide) with 1/4" gap between the columns. Experts, The below script is partially working. I have a checkbox, "401k50", with a value of 0 or 1 (if checked). If checked, if in a different field User enters a number greater than 24500, the alert pops up and tells them the must enter a number between 0 and 24500. This works. So far so good. If the box, 401k50 is unchecked, and User enters a number greater than 18500, an alert box is supposed to tell User to enter a number between 0 and 18500. This is not working. Currently, if unchecked, user is able to enter any number he wishes. Hey everyone,For a form where an inspector inspects a building, I'd like to have a variable amount of image fields the user can put images into. However, depending on the building and exceptions for the task at hand, It'll vary per building how many image fields will be required in the form.I've found the Forms image field excellent for images in general, so I'm planning to use that. However, I'd like to be able to dynamically add these image fields with say, the press of a button. Ideally with a + button to add an image field, and a - button to remove the last image field.Is this possible?

Can someone please help me with a custom calculation for a checkbook register?  Example of Field Names used on each line of the form:Amt1       Dep1     Bal1Amt2       Dep2     Bal2I've tried the following Simplified Field Notation:  BalanceForward - Amt1 + Dep1. This works on the first line of the form and then auto populates the balance field on each remaining line of the form. If there are no entries (check or deposit) I don't want to see the balance populated.I've also tried the following JavaScript with similar results. I'm attempting to write a JavaScript for a custom action to create several fields that I often use. I would love if someone could explain where that could be coming from.To that end... is there any sort of index or documentation on the console and interpreting the errors/messages it returns? I'm looking for an easy solution to better manage the appearance of my sticky notes. In a previous post, I was able to get help changing sticky note color based on content. It works great!I am now looking for a way to change sticky note icon based on content. Currently, all my sticky notes are the "Text Note" icon (because that's how they are exported from InDesign). But I'd like to be able to easily and globally change the Text Note icon to any of the other icons.It would be even more amazing if the script could also delete the text associated with the color.For example. If the sticky note content starts with "Help:" the Text Note icon would change to the Help icon, and then also delete "Help:" from the beginning of the sticky note contents.
