HiI'm currently using VBA code to create a protected Word DOCX document with fillable form fields in it for user entry.  I wish to convert the DOCX to a PDF form with fillable fields for emailing.Can I do this under program control with the Acrobat SDK?  Will the SDK recognise the DOCX fillable form fields and convert those to PDF fillable fields?  Is there a reference in the SDK documentation if this is possible?If this option isn't available with the SDK are there any 3rd party options available?Thank in advanceAllan

I am on a Mac using an old version of Acrobat  - 9 Pro. I have created a multi-page PDF with internal links. For most of the internal links, i want them to jump within the same document window, so my Acrobat document preference is set accordingly. However, there are a handful of links that want to open in a new document window so that the user has both pages open at the same time for reference.My original file is in InDesign. I see no way to add JS scripting to a button there. In the PDF, i can set the actions to link to a new page, but there's no where to specify "in a new window."I'm hoping there is a javascript that i can apply to these few buttons that will accomplish this. Any help/advice is appreciated.~bexterinni

Sir,I am making a PDF form in Adobe acrobat Pro in which the requirement is to add any number of pages which use inputs in the text field.Like if the user put  4 then 4 pages should be added , if they put 40 the 40 pages should be added.... i know to add the pages by the spawning method.....i.e.   var a = this.getTemplate("Template Name");               a.spawn();but i am not able to figure out how to add as many pages as specified by the users......Also second query....I would like the first page to be number page 1 of 1, then when the user needs a second page it would numbered as Page 1 of 2 and Page 2 of 2   and so on...Is it possible.If yes, then plz help.Thank you

In Acrobat Pro 9, Field I, Properties, Actions tab, execute on Mouse up, entered the following javaScript:if (H<3000){ I=3000 } else { I=H}Field H is a calculated value.I don't get any syntax errors, but when data is entered into the PDF, silently does not run and I get no value returned.  I have tried variations of the string with the same results.  Can someone please help.  Thanks.

Hello,I am using Acrobat Pro DC 2015 release (Continuous). I have installed it from adobe Creative cloud.My issue is -  Acrobat is crashing randomly many times a day.I developed a plugin for it and thought that It was a plugin issue. But crash is does not seem relevant to my plugin. I did not found the crash log file in the acrobat installation folder.But in the Windows event viewer, I can see some error information regarding acrobat.Here are the screenshots of the errors:I am not able to understand the meaning of these.What can be the problem in acrobat?What is the solution for this?Thank you in advance!

What I still would like to do is when I make a selection from drop down A to trigger drop down B and trigger drop down C. Let me explain a bit. Each drop down has the same names of people but with different info. Such as drop down A would have the addresses. Drop down B would have their social security numbers and C would have their phone numbers.So then when a name is selected in drop down A the address info would show in text field A. Drop down B would be triggered and to show the social in another text field and C would do the same but with their phone numbers.Can someone help me with this? I don't know javascript enough to figure it out so I have to ask for someone's help to get it done. If you know the javascript could you share it with me so I can learn a bit more? Hello,I had a look through the forums but could not find any topics on my specific needs even though I think it is a rather common question (?).My idea is this:I would like to have an action that automatically highlights certain words, phrases etc.Which phrases are hightlighted shoud be dependend on a (for example) CSV-file which I choose during the action.The CSV-file has two columns: One for the words which are to be highlighted, the other one with the contents of the hightlights; possibly a third one which defines exceptions..Is this possible in Acrobat? We have a .NET program and want it to convert html file into pdf file. I wonder if the Acrobat SDK has any .NET api or Windows command line to do so?And for licensing, we have purchased Adobe Acrobat DC standalone version (that means not the cloud version). Does it come with Acrobat SDK license?

Hello - I hope this is the correct place to post.I am running Windows 10 and installed the 30 day trial of Acrobat DC.I have both Chrome 50.0.2661.94 and Firefox 46.0 installed; both are up to date.The Adobe DC plugin is installed in both. I have a timesheet where TimeOut - TimeIn - Break = Total Hours.  I can get this to work but, I need an if clause for working past midnight.  If (TimeOut<TimeIn) +24 or If (TotalHours<0) +24.  I do not know JavaScript (obviously).

I didn't realize that these javascript actions don't seem to be working when the PDF is opened in a browser. Is there a way to get the browser to work with a javascript action, or is there a way to add a non javascript action to these bookmarks within vba?

So I am trying to use the image field in Acrobat Pro and I am testing it but I am not able to selecta .jpeg to insert it only allows me to select another PDF file or and .ai file? Why can't I use a .jpeg or any other image file like .gif .png or even a tiff? This for a Form

Hello, all!I am trying to figure out why my supervisor's PDFs occasionally do not work correctly. He signs the PDF, and then he forwards it to his supervisor for his signature...And the unfortunate news here is that he is unable to digitally sign the PDF for some odd reason. Something about the IBM version or whatever that means. So, instead of him digitally signing the files, he prints it. And when he does that...My supervisor's digital signature disappears.Look at this print preview, the [highlighted] bottom right box is empty. But if you look at the file itself, it is included.Key note is that this happens sporadically, and I am not certain as to what is causing the issue. So, hopefully someone here can help out? I have nine fields and show/hide them. Three drop down to select Quantities. Three Text fields for the Item Price and three Total fields. What I was trying to figure out is, a way to use one field to show the Total amount of the Quantity fields and Item Price fields when visible. Not calculate the Quantity and Price fields when hidden.Presently, I have fields to calculate each group of fields and use this script in the Total field, (it works but it's not exactly what I want to do)var f = this.getField("ItemPrice1");var g = this.getField("ItemQuantity1"); event.value = f.value * g.value;What I'd like to accomplish is when ItemPrice1 and ItemQuantity are visible then to calculate that. When ItemPrice2 and ItemQuantity are visible then to calculate that. But, in the same Total field and reset the fields that would be hidden.With my vast javascript knowledge (not), I've tried to put this script in the Total field, but guess what, it didn't work to calculate. Only the Item3 is calculated.va

I have 7 check boxes with different results.  I now want to make a text field that brings those results from the checked off boxes to a new text field.  How do I do it?Example:say the check boxes are "1", "2", "3", etc.then in my text field I need to make an If statement, if box 1 and 3 and 5 are checked, then it prints 1, 3, 5if just 1 is checked, then just "1" will printDoes that make sense?  FIRST TIME USER !!
