When I open the vb.net samples of acrobat cd sdk, the acrobat objects are not defined error is shown

Hi,Been trying to change layer visibility using script: PDF is created as interactive PDF in InDesign cs6 with 3 layers, with the first set in InDesign to visible, second layer default set in InDesign to not visible, third layer which in InDesign when exporting as interactive PDF automatically is exported with no control over it (Guides and Grids), can in Acrobat Pro DC be set to not visible. Hi,everytime I try to install CS5 or CS5.5 on the new OS X Sierra System it says, I should eject the image. Is it possible to install it with the Terminal?

I could really use some help from some kind soul out there. I have been racking my brain trying to learn this and scouring the forums/internet and have come up empty handed. I have made one form which requires validation before signing....... everything is working good........ clicking validation button pops up a message about which fields need to be filled (if any require fields are not filled by user)..Now i want to ask is it possible in pdf form that instead of pop up message..... the fields which are not filled by users are highlighted in red there itself instead of a popup message (bcoz the formatting of pop up is very bad and i am not able to format the popup mssg.. they come up very messy).

Hello All,I am in the process of developing a pdf form that will contain approximately 30 combo-boxes of employees names. I am looking to have all 30 combo-boxes reference one listing for their values as the list may be frequently updated and I do not want to have to update each of the 30 combo boxes every time a change needs to me made to the employee listing. I am looking for some input on how I can accomplish this easily. My thought was javascript or something may work. Thanks in advance for your help!

My code is fairly standard, if people need to see more I can provide but essentially I am just trying to access a field's ButtonLayout property. I know the field I am accessing is a button, b/c I Added it previously in the code and I can review it once the file saves. The last line below is the one that doesn't work. I get the error "Object doesn't support this property or method". I am using MS Access 2016 with the Adobe Acrobat 10.0 Type Library. In contrast I can access the Value, and the BorderStyle properties and set them just fine. The lines in green work, the line in red does not work. Why? I've tried not using capitals and camel case. I added a third party plugin button from the Quick Tool and displayed it on the toolbar. However, if you hide the tool panel window, the tool button of the third party plugin will be hidden the next time Acrobat starts.Please let me know if anyone knows how to not hide.

When I get a PDF that needs to be filled out, but has no forum fill areas, I just use the Typewriter function and type on the line I want filles out. Then I ise my computer Pen to sign on the screen. Then I email the form to who needs it. Unfortunately anything i use with the Typewriter functun and I email mail out the PDF there is no typing on the PDF. My signature is there but what ever I did with the Typewriter function is missing. Can someone tell me why?Thanks,Steve

Okay, hopefully the last question of the day...I've simplified my problem down to the following: I have two radio buttons that, when clicked, populate a combobox with a set of options. The first set consists of the numbers 1-5, and the second is simply the string "N/A". Then down below, a numeric Cost field will check to see if the contents of the Quantity field is not "N/A", and if it's not, it will turn the quantity string into an integer and multiply it by 10. Otherwise, if it is "N/A", it will return 0.The problem is that, as soon as you click on either radio button, Acrobat gives the error "The value entered does not match the format of the field [ Cost ]". So it sounds like Cost is expecting an integer and receiving a string, but I'm not sure why it would be getting a string. Other than that, it works as expected.

I'm new to Javascript in PDF forms. I'm trying to put a combobox (named "Additional Users") on a PDF form that populates with values from an array. According to this help page, it looks like you can use a 2D array to store the keys and values for the combobox.What I've done will populate the combobox, but once you select an option and click away from it, the value resets to the first option, which in this case is 0. In fact, even the example code from the help page does the same thing when I try it out in my form. Help! I have used the Basic example in the SDK as a basis to create my plug-in, it works fine on my machine so I built it to put on another machine, and discovered because it was in debug mode, it was using the debug version of the C++ libraries which aren't distributable, however when I change it to a release build then it just doesn't appear as an add-in (It is signed and reader enabled).I don't know what I am missing \ what I should be doing in get this to work, it has been ages since I have done anything in C++ so the many many options in the project properties are lost in time.  I have spent nearly 4 days this and not made any progress.  Can you help? I am looking for JavaScript that executes Tools-Pages-Insert from File in Adobe Acrobat.  I have a coversheet.  I would like to add a button to it that allows the user to insert other pages from another PDF.  I have found the JavaScript that adds another PDF as an attachment, but that doesn't accomplish my goal.  I am using Acrobat Pro XI.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
