is there any other way to maybe mark users with @ like "@xy@x.com" withour writing my own commenting panel?  I want to search than for users so the user i choose get an email that he got marked in a comment or is there any plan for this. would be swet

Hello,I am using a Pdc from John Deere.The Pdf is well defined, clean and I can't see anything that should trick the system. It is a parts document. I am noticing that following behaviors. 1. Although the documents say that reoccuring headers won't be listed, its not accurate. I see the headers which are Part and Quantity Required. 2. I can see that the document word-wrapped Quantity Required so they are vertifical to each other. However, the iterations I get per page are--Quantity--Required--Quantity Required These are headers same with Part (they are on the same line(s) but one is on one side of the page and the other is on the other. So it ends up causing confusing in parsing because of the varaiations. I just can't see why as the documents are the same relatively speaking except for the inner content, which is a simple structure 3. After the download and parsing, I am using linq to get rid of things I do not need, however the items themselves are out o

We are considering using the Document Services API, primarily for the merge capability, and am wondering how releases of new API versions are handled?  Is there a test environment where customers can try out and test the new release before it goes live? Thanks!

I am trying to generate PDF from AngularJS Embedded HTML file. when we run the command mvn -f pom.xml exec:java -Dexec.mainClass=com.adobe.pdfservices.operation.samples.createpdf.CreatePDFFromDynamicHTML result is success on terminal but PDF is not generated from that zip file. How to resolve this issue ? can anyone  please help me?

I downloaded the SplitPDFIntoNumberofFiles C# project from Adobe SDK.  The code below works sucessfully when splitting a PDF document to 20 pages, but if I set it over 20 pages, I get an exception error that the operation could not split beyond 20 pages. // Set the number of documents to split the input PDF file into.splitPDFOperation.SetFileCount(20); Can anyone please provide any guidance or assistance ?

All Microsoft Office add-ins are required by Microsoft to be functional in the legacy Edge webview environment. In testing I recently saw an error pop-up saying that Adobe will no longer support "your version of Edge after September 2021". Does that mean that the pdf embed viewer will cease to work on Edge legacy webviews in October? Or just that Adobe won't provide support for issues that may arrise due to incompatibility? Thank you.

I'm building an application using the Embed API.  The client is using this application to view and annotate large PDFs (in the range of 25-60MB).  It seems that as he scrolls through the document, the further he gets through it the worse the application runs.  I've done some initial profiling in Chrome and it looks like the memory consumption of the Embed part of the application just continues to grow as you scroll through the document.  I didn't dig into it too much, but at first pass it looked like it had something todo with mobx.   It seems as though there might not be any virtualization in the Embed API so as pages are created (and potentially made observable (if mobx)) nothing is removing listeners / subscriptions.   Anyways, it's unfortunately a bit of a deal breaker for my client so I told them that I would investigate.

Is the Adobe PDF embed tool complaint with WCAG 2.1?

I am building an application for modifying and creating annotations using the Embed API.  Everything seems to work just fine, except for when I export the pdf data as an XFDF the updated annotations are not present.  I have attached a video to show the behavior but had to compress it significantly, here is a breakdown of what happens: In my application (the Embed API), I open up a PDF with no commentsI highlight some text and add a comment, and save the PDFI open up the saved PDF in adobe and export the XFDF The XFDF has the correct content for the annotation created using the Embed Api (The annotation is of the type <Contents>)I add a new annotation in Adobe Reader and save the documentI export the XFDF and the XFDF has the two annotationsThe Annotation from Embed Api is <Contents>The Annotation from Adobe Reader is <Contents-Richtext>I open up the saved PDF in my application and update the existing annotation that was created in Adobe ReaderSave

I am able to run the sample project. I have created another zip archive of HTML file and other dependency files like CSS and js and pass it to the CreatePDFFromDynamicHTML.java file to create a PDF after executing mvn -f pom.xml exec:java -Dexec.mainClass=com.adobe.pdfservices.operation.samples.createpdf.CreatePDFFromDynamicHTML command it gives an error  description ='The zip file provided has invalid content.; transactionId=kNWylwnmtNDbJf9ERkbjuE1Ou62467uv'; requestTrackingId='ZDdG1zgw5sKjMdnEGjvV8PAdUlJwwwNO'; statusCode=400; errorCode=INVALID_ZIP  How to resolve this?

Hi,  I'm currently listening to the annotation delete and add events using the annotationManager.  I wish to add the filter annotation function.  If I do my own filtering, then add the filtered annotation list to the PDF, I think I have to reload the PDF since I'm listening to the above events.  So I wonder if there will be an API function e.g. filterAnnotations() such that when I filter the annotations in the PDF, the events "ANNOTATION_ADDED" or "ANNOTATION_DELETED" won't fire.

I have a viewer on my website which is supose to show content from a PDF file. It loads perfectly sometimes, but most of the times it displayes a blank modal content. It does triggers an event APP_RENDERING_START but then no other messages can be seeing, neither the content is display inside the pop up modal when it opens. Any suggestions on what the problem might be as i didn't find many answers on web?Thank you!  

Hi,  Currently the annotationManager.SelectAnnotation() function only navigates to the top of the annotation's page. if the annotation is at the bottom of the page, it won't be shown sometimes if the browser height is not large enough.  So I try to use the viewer.goToLocation() API to manually implement the selectAnnotation() function.  But I noticed that the selectAnnotation(<page_number>, <x_coord>, <y_coord>) does NOT match the annotation's bounding Box schema.  In the annotation's boundingBox data, the x and y values seem to be starting from the bottom left corner of the page, the x_coord and y_coord arguments in selectAnnotation() function seem to be starting from the top left corner.  so the x_coord is working as expected, but the y_coord is reversed.  If I can query the height of the page, I can do selectAnnotation(page_num, x_coord, page_height - y_coord).  But unfortunately I don't kno

I am trying to get the Adobe pdf tools api to work in Power Automate. I've tried converting Word-documents (dotx) and images (png) to pdf but it's not working at all. When I use another api, there no problem converting with the same input parameters from Power Automate. This is an example of the latest error.
